10/10 service experience here! Had two great guys Franklin & Daniel, super awesome, knowledgeable and friendly! They not only fixed my Dyson in a matter of five minutes but they also showed me where the filter was that hadn't been cleaned since I bought it. That was totally on me LOL. They showed me so many things I can do to keep my V8 cleaned and working to the nine. Really appreciated the assistance on that, and the quick turn around time with helping me with my V8.

I had a very bad experience with Dyson Service Center. I brought two broken vacuums for repair. Afterwards, I received a call from the service representative who told me that the vacuums are fixed and ready for pickup. She offered to ship the units, so I would not have to drive over to the Center. The shipping was free and, of course, I agreed. When the vacuums finally arrived after a couple of weeks, they were nicely packaged and wrapped. However, both were in the same condition as before I brought them into the Dyson Service Center. They were unusable and unfixed. There was no note in the shipping boxes, no explanation. I tried to contact the Service by phone. Their answering machine does not have an option for leaving messages. I left my feedback in an email. In sum, I do not believe any repairs were done. This has been nothing more than a waste of time and a needless aggravation. Instead of telling the truth, like the units cannot be fixed, Dyson simply returned the broken products as if they were fixed. On my end, I waited to receive the vacuums and use them to clean my apartment. Now, I am stuck with two broken units, just like before. I am not sure why I even drove over to the Center in the first place. I guess, because I didn't know the truth about their services, which is that they are surreally horrible.

Great service but be aware that you must make an appointment at Paramus, NJ location. They fixed my cordless vacuum within 20 minutes.

How long would a repair for a vacuum cleaner be done?

I was in and out of there in 25 minutes with an appointment. You need an appointment in Paramus if you want repair done immediately. Otherwise, they were taking equipment to repair later and saying it could take weeks or months.

These guys are a family run business and I was skeptical at first to go in bc most people referred me to PC Richard and Best Buy, Home Depot etc. but I went in to see and what I found was the most helpful staff who heard my concerns and they were able to work within my budget and more so. They delivered the new fridge not even 24 hrs later and took away the old one. Class act, professional and have the same brands the other vendors have - but at a better price. This was not a used item. It was brand new. Out of the box. I actually know this will be the only place I purchase appliances from now on and wanted to let you know that Greg is a great contact for anyone; there are no high pressure sales pitches or know it all attitudes. Humble business owners who care about their customers. I truly believe it's because they are a family run business. They have stoves, microwaves, dishwashers, washers, dryers, freezers and more. Just wanted to let you all know in case you are looking for a new appliance. Warrantee as well. It is easy to see why Home Depot gets disgraceful reviews. Stores of this size and magnitude should…read morevery rarely run out of ice melt or shovels when there is a serious weather event and they have plenty of notice nearly 3 weeks notice, and they sat on their hands and they didn't order. It seems to be something that occurs in all the Home Depot's miss management at its highest because stores that size should be ordering for the area that they're in such as Paramus, Lodi, Hackensack and the next closest one is Patterson, but if I were a regional manager I would've ordered a tractor a trailer of all different types of ice melt whether it be calcium chloride or whatever other products that are out there, but I wouldn't wait until the last week and try and make an order and get enough for the people that are coming to my store and I know what the excuse is gonna be and it's just unacceptable when you have 2 to 3 weeks of advanced notice there is no excuse that is mismanagement. What is sad is that after being contacted by the Home Depot representative? Same happened with my most recent purchase of snow blower. It was available at this location but not in other nearby ones. After I out in my order, it was fulfilled within an hour. It was very impressive quick service. Upon arrival at the store, I parked at curbside pickup area, checked in through the app and the associate came out couple of minutes later. She helped me with putting the blower in the trunk. Fantastic service. The snow blower had a reasonable price that also came with a 40V 6A battery.

We purchased a table and after delivery, we noticed some nicks after we came back from vacation. We never used it as we were still looking for dining chairs. Our expert woodworker noticed that it isn't "solid" wood as the salesman mentioned and he pointed out the multiple nicks and scratches throughout the table. The table base was held together with only Phillips heads, small washers, and staples. The staples held the panels that formed the base and our woodworker mentioned that another couple had the same table except that one had glue instead of staples. I tried calling them and nobody picked up, when my wife called they were very rude and the person who I believe is the owner of Pera initially stated that there is a "lifetime" warranty and pretended to try and work with you. However, the second time my wife called, he stated that he never mentioned that and claimed we were the ones who damaged the table. His attitude seems to give off that his product is superior to others and nothing can compare to it. We also heard from our neighbors that Peradesign wasn't the first business he owned, there have been multiple businesses before Pera was even a thought. We are dissatisfied with this company and be wary of those who claim their product is perfect.

I rarely write reviews, but this experience warrants one so other customers can make an informed…read moredecision--especially given that this store is repeatedly described as a "flagship" location. Sales Experience (October) My wife and I initially visited the Paramus store and worked with two different sales associates who provided inaccurate information and offered no real expertise. We were told every appliance on the floor was the "best option," with no meaningful guidance. Frustrated, we left and visited the West New York location instead. Shortly after, the Paramus appliance manager called us, apologized, and personally asked us to return--assuring us he would take care of everything. Based on that assurance, we returned and purchased four appliances (three GE Café and one Whirlpool refrigerator), totaling nearly $9,000. Paid Pre-Installation Check -- $50 Wasted We paid $50 for a pre-installation check to ensure everything was ready. This service provided incorrect information and failed to identify installation issues that later caused real problems. The fee was never reimbursed. We were told "not to worry" because a $250 gift card would offset the inconvenience. First Delivery & Installation Issues I took a full day off work for the first delivery window (12-4 PM). The crew didn't arrive until 6:15 PM and didn't leave until 9:15 PM. Problems during this delivery: I was charged to modify an emergency shutoff valve behind the dishwasher--without being told it was installed incorrectly The GE Café range was defective (error codes, constant beeping, would not heat) The GE Café dishwasher arrived with a broken component, which we only discovered after the installers left due to the late hour Follow-Up & Replacement To their credit, the appliance manager agreed to replace both appliances instead of sending a technician--mainly because GE service was significantly delayed. We were fortunate we delayed installation until after Thanksgiving; hosting a holiday with a broken oven would have been unacceptable. Second Delivery & Additional Costs A second delivery required me to take another full day off work. This installer confirmed the emergency shutoff valve should never have been placed behind the dishwasher. As a result: $120 paid to the first installer $250 paid to relocate the shutoff valve correctly $50 paid for the failed pre-installation check Total out-of-pocket cost due to their errors: $420 While I received a $250 gift card and a $250 credit, only $130 actually offset my costs, meaning I still absorbed most of the expense--despite spending nearly $9,000. Overall Impact Two days taken off work Incorrect pre-installation inspection Defective brand-new appliances Improper installation requiring paid correction Significant time spent coordinating fixes What was most frustrating was being told by the general manager that this was "the best that could be done," while continuing to reference the original gift card--despite the fact that it was issued for early failures that were not my fault. Bottom Line This experience permanently damaged my trust in the Paramus location. For a purchase of this size, the service failures, misinformation, and lack of accountability are unacceptable. I will not do business with this store again and strongly recommend others proceed with caution.
