Beware!! Very dishonest business!! I ordered two lamps from them in last November. They told me they have them in stock in California when I purchased, and I was told that I would receive them within 2 weeks to NJ (usually it takes about 5 business days from CA to NJ). I waited for 2 weeks and called back and I was yelled for calling to see the status of the order. He said it's holiday season, so its delayed! Then I call back a month later ( December) and he tells me that they are in container and waiting to be released. I told them that I thought they were made in US and ship from CA, then why would they be stick in the container????? But the manager never even apologized for the delays and he gets mad at me making nonsense excuses. Last week, I called back for the status and he tells me that it will be shipped on Friday. Then the following Wednesday, he sent me the tracking # but it says the label was created now (wednesday)!! I asked him why is it shipped now since I was told that it was already shipped last Friday?? He still doesn't even apologize and he just responds saying thats the tracking # he got. So I finally got my lamps after 3 months I paid full amount. They are definitely NOT made in USA. I open the box , and it says "Made In China". And I'm missing a lock washer and wire caps. I called the store, and he tells me to call the manufacture directly. I'm never dealing with such a dishonest store again. Not recommended.

Shopping for a couch and made our way down Route 17, stumbled upon West Elm…read more The layout of the store is a little confusing, I found myself going in circles quite a bit. On the weekend, it was crowded. There were times when we had to wait to test out a couch because people were sitting on it for too long! I think the store would benefit from being larger. You feel like you are always in the way or on top of people with how the store is laid out. Our saleslady was helpful and kept her distance, which was appreciated. She wasn't being too pushy or rushing us, she really let us take our time. Ultimately we did not purchase from here due to the lack of things being in stock and customization required.

They rescheduled the delivery for April 3rd, and then canceled the day before as they were missing parts, I was told I would be notified within 3 days when they were able to reschedule. After hearing nothing, I called a week later and they said they would call to reschedule when they have to parts. It is now approaching the end of April and I still have not heard anything about them rescheduling the delivery. I have called to follow up multiple times. In addition to this, I also ordered a couch in March. About 2 weeks ago (early April), I realized it will be too large for my space. I called West Elm to cancel the order, as they did not allow me to cancel online. The woman I spoke to told me it would be no more than 3 days to hear whether or not my cancellation request was approved by the manager. Again, I heard nothing. When I called back today, they acted as if they had never heard that I wanted to cancel the order (now far less-likely to be canceled due to being further along in production). They again told me they would put my request through to the manager. I spent 30 minutes on the phone with someone that was able to get me no answers. I am extremely disappointed with their service. Their products are expensive, and the lack of communication and responsiveness after a sale is unacceptable.

Before working with her, I felt totally overwhelmed and hopeless when it came to interior design, but Nahid made the entire process easy, fun, and stress-free. She is incredibly detail-oriented, professional, and creative, with an amazing eye for design. Nahid has a rare talent for pulling together colors, furniture, and styling elements I never would have imagined working together, and making them look effortless. She truly listened to my needs and wants and translated them into a functional, beautiful space that fits both my lifestyle and my budget. She went above and beyond at every step, from selecting the perfect paint color to sourcing the right furniture and styling the final space. On top of all that, she is flexible, thoughtful, responsive, and an absolute pleasure to be around. A HUGE thank you to Nahid for creating a space I love and feel inspired by every day!! Sally is also a pleasure to work with, and BoConcept is incredibly lucky to have such talented designers and genuinely wonderful people like Sally and Nahid!

I found some cute home decor and seasonal items for the winter holidays and lunar new year. I also like the furniture pieces and lighting that are featured towards the front of the store. So even if we do not end up not buying from there, what they have on the floor was/is a good source of design inspiration.

The emphasis here is on made in India and China furniture and furnishings -- with a decent selection of kitchenware and gadgets. No clothes, jewelry, shoes or fancy foodstuffs in this iteration of the ever evolving chain of stores owned by TJX. Homesense improves on the chaotic and frenetic merchandising practices of its relatives. In other words -- you will find the aisles logically organized with more limited and better curated selections. If you are looking for that odd off price piece -- like a sofa, chair, table, love seat, carpet or new china, this place is worth a look. As with all the other TJX retail stores, you are buying "off the floor" which means that the stuff has been sat in, handled, returned, jostled about, dinged, etc. -- so inspect carefully before buying -- especially with the higher priced furniture and carpets. Top Tip: Shares a parking lot with Trader Joe's -- which means PACKED on Saturdays. Best shopping experience is early or late -- midweek.

When looking to furnish my new home I stumbled into Modani in Paramus quite accidently and walked out just a bit poorer. I've been buying things for the better part of my life. I'm a true consumer in that respect and have done business in more places than I can remember. What I can't remember was getting better service than provided by Richard at Modani in Paramus. From arranging delivery to answering my design questions promptly, Richard is a true gem. If you're looking to furnish an entire home or just need that one special piece I really can't recommend Richard or Modani and higher. Really amazing selection, price and above all, service. Kudos.

Following the sales representative's instructions, I contacted customer service and submitted photos and videos documenting the issues. They arranged for a third-party cleaning service, which initially seemed like a reasonable solution. However, the experience quickly declined. The cleaner arrived dragging a steamer across a sidewalk covered in melting snow and salt, then entered my home wearing only flimsy shoe covers, leaving wet, dirty marks all over my hardwood floors. The equipment itself also left marks. While he addressed some of the stains on the sectional, he completely ignored the console, which had clear discoloration on the corners--similar to wear caused by repeated handling in the same area. He took photos and said he would report back to customer service. After that, I received no follow-up. When I reached out, I was told that my claim was no longer valid because it fell outside the 30-day reporting window--even though they were supposed to follow up with a resolution regarding the console and failed to respond. I was also told that the discoloration on the console was merely "the customer's perception," based on the cleaner's feedback. Overall, this was a frustrating experience. While the products may look appealing, the lack of accountability, poor communication, and dismissive customer service make it difficult to recommend this company.
