I usually see Astrid; I honestly think she is obsessed with free-styling but I don't let her free style my nails cause I'll walk out with a $300 bill. Everyone here (My, Astrid and Gabby) take their time and does an amazing job. I'd highly recommend to book your appointments immediately following your service, they get BOOKED. So don't expect a last minute appointment, even on a Monday, hunnay! I even follow them on Instagram, and they keep you updated on any salon closings, last minute bookings, etc. I've honestly only had one less than pleasant experience here, but I didn't allow that to keep me from the best of the best. I no longer live across the street so it's harder for me to get here, but when I know I'll be in the area, I try to plan accordingly. This spa is reasonably priced, $42 for a powder set, but nails aren't the only services they offer. With an early booking, they offer full body massage services as well, or at least they used too; I'd call to double check. I personally haven't received one, but I don't doubt they are anything short of amazing!

Today I got a new nail tech who was absolutely horrible. She ignored my request for no cutting of the cuticles (even after my usual lady let her know), filed my nails AND SKIN so hard it hurt, and ended up clipping my skin too close and leaving nail polish on the side of my nails! The color she applied was not the one I picked but similar enough I just let it go. This experience reminded me why I hate going to get my nails done. When I went to pay I found out she had upcharged me for a hand massage I didn't ask for or want and then an attitude when I asked why the price was different than all my other visits. I regret not requesting my usual nail tech but she was busy with another client. Unfortunately this experience was enough to deter me from returning.

Yet I always had confidence in my nail guy Duy (Zee) to get the presentation of my nails very neat. And Duy accomplished that goal effortlessly & beautifully. One of My favorite things about Duy is his timing. I absolutely love that about this nail salon. My appointment was at 2pm and I got tips and toes done within 60 minutes. My nails were clean and bare and my toes were 95% clear. Coming from Gel polish. Which is perfect to me. I left at 3:12pm. Theirs never a wait at Hollywood nails. The gentleman at the front explained the services and pricing very clearly and the nail techs were very friendly. I came in today for my third builder gel set here and overall, each visit has been okay. I…read moregenerally like the way my nails are done. However, as I was leaving today, I noticed I hadn't received a receipt so I asked for one. When I got to my car and reviewed it, I saw I had been charged an extra $10 for a "nail fix." That was confusing to me because I came in for a builder gel set on my real nails and they had done my previous set as well. I went back inside to ask about it and was told by the manager that the charge was because I had partially removed the gel from two of my nails. I explained that the gel had started peeling after two weeks, so I removed part of it myself this morning knowing I was going to come get them fixed after work today. My main concern is not necessarily the $10 itself, but the lack of transparency. Three different employees assisted me today between my pedicure and gel set and at no point was I informed there would be an additional charge. When I asked why no one thought to alert me, I was told they "thought I knew." Very odd response for it only being my 3rd time. I was initially excited to find a new nail salon that provided good service and transparent pricing, but adding charges without communicating them beforehand (and then making excuses for the lack of communication) makes me reconsider returning
