Mom and Daughter photo of nails done by May! Pics don't do justice to what they look like in real life!
    Liz D.

Ms. May, we want to thank you for being so detailed in doing our nails! We love the way you do nails! You're also very sweet and kind, that's a plus. It's been a week for me(the mom, pink nails) and my nails look even better now. We barely have to put cuticle oil because you really did a good job in cleaning up our nails. Ms. Thuy, did a great pedicure and paints the nails nicely, no messy looking toes! Thank you ladies, we are happy to have found your nail salon, we are happy customers! My sister did her nails with Gabby and her nails look amazing. I have an appt with Ms. My, next month, since my mom(the grandma) will be doing her nails with May. I am certain that all the ladies at this nail place are good, so anyone you could get an appt with you will have a great experience. You will not go wrong in this place! Yay!!

Very rarely do I go to nail shops because of service reasons so I manage my nails myself. I was by far impressed with the service of all staff in the Spa Lounge. They have my service from this point going forward. Steve was very gentle and worked on my toes to perfection! A million out of ten would recommend. The environment was very clean. They had my heart when I got in the chair and pulled out new equipment/tools before my pedicure. Thank you again Steve for making me feel at ease by being here. My time was very relaxing after a long day working in a hospital. This is all a woman wants.!! See you soon ladies and gentlemen.

My always does an amazing job with my nails. I've been going for about 11 months now. Her work is always consistent. Friendly staff and relaxing environment. She's a beast with designs too! Check the shop out on IG.

This place has a wonderful spa like atmosphere & so quiet! I like they have individual and modern designs for a nail spa. Pros: Great work, very attentive, clean atmosphere. Decent prices for what is offered on mani & pedi options Cons: Prices are not visible for all in one singular area. They're laminated like a menu & given to you upon seating you for services. Also, not enough staff on hand I took my friend here for a birthday pedi & we loved our color and how our toes was done. However, we booked an appt. for 3pm and we're seated immediately upon arrival to soak our feet. They lady started on my friends pedi first which I didn't mind but then I was not attended to for a while like 15-20 mins after. By that time, my water was not hot anymore & my feet soaked for forever & a day - that's the reason I can't give this place my full five star review. If they would have been more attentive or acknowledged that they're short staffed then we could have worked around it. We wanted to come here to try their complimentary drinks and they were good but y experience was not what I had expected. Also, I do like the traditional massage chair unlike this place. BEWARE! If you come here -they don't have massage chairs! If you're here for a relaxing time for mani or pedi they have plastic ikea chairs for you to sit in and for a pedi they have an elevated sofa that stretches along the back wall for everyone to sit together which was a bit awkward

    Bad quality
    Nikki M.

The store is cute but the sofa wasn't very comfortable and they have 1 technician to do both my mani and pedi which took 2 hours. Shellac quality is terrible as they have bubbles, scratched and chipped within a week. Not worth the money

I was referred to the nail tech "My," by a friend whose nails always looked so good, and I wasn't too pleased with my nail tech at that time. Before i continue let me first inform you on how extremely picky i am and how nervous i was trying someone new with these high expectations that i have. But guess what, My killed it. She exceed my expectations and now she and i can argue for life because thats just what we do. She is super talented. Personal. Creative. She can talk whatever including gardening . I've been going to her for almost a year now. She just gets me ‍

Soooo, let me tell you about this little gem! The owner's name is My... get it?! MY Spa Lounge, hahaha. I thought that was so clever. The ladies here are extremely talented. I usually see Astrid; I honestly think she is obsessed with free-styling but I don't let her free style my nails cause I'll walk out with a $300 bill. Everyone here (My, Astrid and Gabby) take their time and does an amazing job. I'd highly recommend to book your appointments immediately following your service, they get BOOKED. So don't expect a last minute appointment, even on a Monday, hunnay! I even follow them on Instagram, and they keep you updated on any salon closings, last minute bookings, etc. I've honestly only had one less than pleasant experience here, but I didn't allow that to keep me from the best of the best. I no longer live across the street so it's harder for me to get here, but when I know I'll be in the area, I try to plan accordingly. This spa is reasonably priced, $42 for a powder set, but nails aren't the only services they offer. With an early booking, they offer full body massage services as well, or at least they used too; I'd call to double check. I personally haven't received one, but I don't doubt they are anything short of amazing!

My is the best at doing all nail designs!! She is working on a custom flower acrylic design for my birthday.

This is seriously the only place I would go to get my nails done. I've had My and Tiny do my nails before and they both do an amazing job every time! It doesn't matter what picture I show them that I want, they're always able to do it or a better version of it. Love love love My Spa Lounge and would highly recommend

I would say the overall experience was okay. The decor is really nice and pretty. I got a pedicure and a full set. The guy who did my pedicure was really nice and did a good job. The thing that made this experience just okay was the price. The girl who did my full set did a good job with making the shape and thickness of the acrylic the way I wanted. The only thing was she wouldn't let me get them shorter...so I'll just go home and file them (which kind of defeats the purpose of getting them done in my opinion). Everything was great until she rang me up and said "$71" holy crap. I've paid less for better. I've been getting my nails done for over 10 years and I don't mind paying for good quality. I'm not stingy on tips either...but when I asked why the price was like that she told me the brake down and mentioned that she charged me for the SHAPE of my nail. I hate places that do that. I understand if it's stiletto or almond but I just got coffin which isn't very hard. Oh well. I probably won't be a returning customer. Would've rated higher but that last moment was it for me.

For starters, I am a total NAIL SNOB! I usually get my manis and pedis at the Houstonian but I couldn't get a last-minute appt so I decided to try My Spa Lounge. Wait time: 30 min on a Saturday just after opening (10 am). I am not deducting stars for this because they were so kind about working me in even though I know appointments are always appreciated (I was the only walk-in there). Decor: Modern, comfortable, and calming. No crazy gold 80's photos on the walls or stereotypical asian-themed junk. Very nice. Price: See their website for a full price list but I got a classic mani ($15) and gel polish ($10) and was very very pleased with the quality for the cheap price. Staff: I was greeted upon entering and was told what my wait time would be. My biggest praise is that there was NO bantering to each other in vietnamese, etc. I do not mean to sound racist; I just hate when you can't understand what someone is saying; I always feel like they are talking about me and that is not a nice feeling! Maybe I'm crazy but anyway... the staff spoke to each other in english, and were sure to include the clients in conversations as well. However, if you just want to sit in silence like I did, it is not at all uncomfortable and they don't push you to make small talk. Also, I was NOT ONCE asked or pressured to upgrade my service. That is a big A+ in my book. Service: I got a classic gel mani over my natural nails. After basic filing, trim, and polish application (all done expertly with no nicking my skin),I was given a brief hand/ arm massage with lotion and a hot towel wrap on my hands. The entire thing took about 30-40 minutes. I loved that I didn't feel rushed. The selection of gel colors was great. They do have beverages in-house and did not object that I wanted my starbucks I had brought on the table next to me. Many other places do not allow this, so that was nice! Although it's definitely still a strip-mall place, I'd definitely say it's on-par with the Houstonian as far as the quality of service for what you pay; you definitely get MORE than what you pay for here, and I'll certainly be going back.

    Sarah R.

This is the best place I've found for a quick pedi where they won't charge over $30. In fact there are two options under $30 and one includes a massage. The ladies are very professional and the place is super CLEAN! Fair prices + awesome decor + professionalism + cleanliness = FIVE STARS!

Showed them a picture of nail art and they took the time out to rhinestone my nail up! Love!
    Anh P.

They're so nice and professional here. So elegant. Absolutely recommend 100%. They're a very small place and usually busy so call ahead or if you walk in, make an appointment then. They don't blabber on in Vietnamese and make you feel uncomfortable or try to upsell you on extra services. They're super duper clean and the salon is exactly like the name, more of a lounge. A lot of regular patrons come in and they're very accomadating to anything you want done. If I lived in Houston, I'd totally come back here every time!

Short and thin just how I asked :)
    Yaneli V.

I stopped by on a Thursday afternoon before a Holiday weekend and the place was quite busy. The place is super cute and modern with a nice relaxing feel to it. The only drawback is that they don't have the big regular massage chairs but I personally didn't miss them much. A older lady (not sure her name) started on my pedi like 15 min later. It was soothing and she did a great job. The Afterwards Mia did a full set with the Rose Gold powder. I loved it and Mia had a very nice and cheerful personality. I'll definitely be back to try more of their services.

OK, how do I put this delicately?…read more I didn't have an awful experience, and i would go back. The spa itself was nice and clean. The front desk staff was very welcoming when I entered. My technician was pretty much on time. So, you may be wondering why the three stars? Well, I'll break it down for you. When I was taken back to the room for my appointment, the person that was doing my service SEEMED very knowledgeable. I was getting eyebrow lamination, getting my eyebrows dyed, getting my lashes lifted and also dyed. Everything seemed to be going well during the services, but that all ended when she was done and handed me the mirror. I couldn't believe what I was seeing. My eyebrows looked CRAZY! I was in shock, they were HUGE and black. Theres NO way she thought they looked remotely good. She did tell me that they would calm down after a few days, that they just looked like that because I just had them colored. Mind you, I have black hair, so they shouldn't have looked that crazy. I mean, they took on a life of their own. A few days passed and they still looked like they were about to jump off my face. I saw my sister about a week after I got them done and she said... WHAT HAPPENED TO YOUR EYEBROWS?!?!? I was like... its good to see you too. I mean the brows were very noticeable. Its been awhile now, and they aren't like they used to be. Thank goodness, but it did take awhile. She also didnt do a very good job shaping them, and I noticed some of my brow looked like it had a small chunk out if it. That part is still growing back in. I also dont know what's happening, but some of my brow hairs are LONG. I don't know how that happened, maybe its just a sign of aging, but I do wish that she would have trimmed them and gave me some kind of shape to them. Needless to say, my brow experience wasn't the best. My eyelashes on the other hand looked great! I loved them. I'd go back for my eyelashes again, but I'll leave my brow work to someone else. When I was leaving and went up to pay, they rang me up. I noticed that there wasnt a spot to leave a tip. I asked them and they said that they were a no tip spa. I wasnt mad about that at all. So my experience wasn't the best, but I think that it wasn't super bad either.

This is a great place to do either. The first hour and a half in the men's area rotating between the steam room, sauna hot tub and cold plunge, losing track of the time and just soaking it. The sauna and the steam room each held around 5 to 7 people, respectively. Fortunately I didn't need to push the capacity limits since the crowd was extremely light, especially for for a weekend. I strolled around and checked out the other rooms and the bulgama room was scorching hot, in the best possible way. Broken up into two different dome spaces - one hot and the other extremely hot with a fireplace- that had the cozy smell of burning wood. A fantastic sensory experience. I popped by the restaurant and the Bulgogi stew was delicious. Prices were comparable to being outside of the spa, and the quality was just as good. The food came out piping hot with a little kimchi and some potatoes and a small bowl of rice on the side. I have been to more than a handful of Korean Spas and the features that make this one stand out are: Clean smells- sounds strange to have to say this but Gangnam was clean but didn't smell like cleaning products. Each space had a unique scent based on the desired effect - cedar, burning wood, eucalyptus, etc. Comfortable uniforms - woven, soft terry cloth sets that breathed well and were easy to move in. Unique experiences in small niches- hand spa to massage your hands, foot spa with a pebble bottomed pool, plenty of lounge spaces, vibrating plates for muscle activation or relaxation, I honestly didn't have time to do it all. The staff = top notch. Friendly front desk crew gave a great first impression. The superstar was the gal who helped me decide on a tasty dish in the restaurant, providing great descriptions for all of the choices. After 4 full hours, I needed to go to my next meeting and had to leave. Nevertheless I left feeling relaxed and satisfied. Verdict: Check it out but be sure to give yourself at least 4 hours.

Allowing phones in environments where guests are changing creates a real risk of non‑consensual photography or video, which can have legal implications and exposes patrons to harm. Businesses that operate locker rooms and similar facilities typically have a duty of care to protect guests from exactly this type of privacy intrusion. I strongly encourage the spa to implement and enforce a comprehensive no‑phone policy throughout all treatment and locker room areas. A spa should be a place where guests feel safe, respected, and able to relax without worrying about being filmed or photographed in private spaces. PLEASE KEEP this SPA classy, with privacy rules and keep the ghetto out the door!

Came here with my husband for our wedding anniversary to spend the first half of the day. We had…read moregone to one of these giant spa places years ago and wanted to return but couldn't remember the name or the location. We thought this might be it. Unless you're buying add-ons, the place is mostly saunas, one cold room, and the gender specific bath houses. We walked around the whole place but couldn't find the outside terrace area, even after consulting a map of the place. The ocher bead sauna was my fav. The fire room is unbearably hot. They don't allow shoes in the spa areas but I think they need to make an exception for that room. They have rugs all over the floor and layered ontop of each other in there and it still doesn't make a difference. I became stuck in there because the floor was so hot it was burning my feet. I was standing on a super thin towel I brought in with me. I had to call for my husband to bring me another towel so I could make a makeshift pathway to the door so I could get out. Consider yourself warned. It feels in there what I assume being on fire might feel like at its beginning stages. The food looked nice but some of it was wildly expensive. $8-9 for one coffee? $4-6 for a hot tea? Ehh, I passed. I enjoyed the bath house/locker room area. The showers were nice, lots of diff pools to chose from that each served different purposes, the wrap around mirrors, body lotion, hair dryers, etc... it was great! They even had attendants in there where you could buy items or services from them. I saw many girls buying face masks. It was very zen in there. I spent a solid amount of time in there getting ready bc I had a fancy dinner with my husband afterwards so I used all the space and amenities to get ready :) Oh forgot to mention - check Groupon. We got our tickets at a discounted rate. Front desk ppl were nice and explained things thoroughly and easily.

While the pools were still warm, they were not at their normal temperatures, and the showers were also affected. As a result, they offered a 15% discount on the day pass. When you arrive, you must remove your shoes and place them in a locker before you can check-in. After check-in, you will receive a locker key that matches your shoe key and an outfit for the common areas. Since this is a traditional Korean spa, the locker rooms and soaking areas are gender-segregated and nude-only, and phones are strictly prohibited in these areas. The facilities were clean and well-maintained. The locker room includes a concierge for scheduling services and a kiosk for essentials like socks and face masks. Before entering the bathhouse area, you must take a shower. The bathhouse features four hot tubs, a cold plunge tub, a dry sauna and steam room. One of the hot tubs and the steam room had a herbal infusion blend. The common area downstairs offered six different dry saunas, one cold room and a quiet zone for reading or napping. There is also a snack bar, daycare center and a sitting area. Upstairs they had additional amenities including an infrared room, two meditation rooms, a movie theater, virtual golf, and a bar. I spent four hours here and left feeling incredibly relaxed. If you are ever in the Houston area and looking to decompress, I highly recommend stopping by SpaWorld.
