Ms. May, we want to thank you for being so detailed in doing our nails! We love the way you do nails! You're also very sweet and kind, that's a plus. It's been a week for me(the mom, pink nails) and my nails look even better now. We barely have to put cuticle oil because you really did a good job in cleaning up our nails. Ms. Thuy, did a great pedicure and paints the nails nicely, no messy looking toes! Thank you ladies, we are happy to have found your nail salon, we are happy customers! My sister did her nails with Gabby and her nails look amazing. I have an appt with Ms. My, next month, since my mom(the grandma) will be doing her nails with May. I am certain that all the ladies at this nail place are good, so anyone you could get an appt with you will have a great experience. You will not go wrong in this place! Yay!!
Very rarely do I go to nail shops because of service reasons so I manage my nails myself. I was by far impressed with the service of all staff in the Spa Lounge. They have my service from this point going forward. Steve was very gentle and worked on my toes to perfection! A million out of ten would recommend. The environment was very clean. They had my heart when I got in the chair and pulled out new equipment/tools before my pedicure. Thank you again Steve for making me feel at ease by being here. My time was very relaxing after a long day working in a hospital. This is all a woman wants.!! See you soon ladies and gentlemen.
This place has a wonderful spa like atmosphere & so quiet! I like they have individual and modern designs for a nail spa. Pros: Great work, very attentive, clean atmosphere. Decent prices for what is offered on mani & pedi options Cons: Prices are not visible for all in one singular area. They're laminated like a menu & given to you upon seating you for services. Also, not enough staff on hand I took my friend here for a birthday pedi & we loved our color and how our toes was done. However, we booked an appt. for 3pm and we're seated immediately upon arrival to soak our feet. They lady started on my friends pedi first which I didn't mind but then I was not attended to for a while like 15-20 mins after. By that time, my water was not hot anymore & my feet soaked for forever & a day - that's the reason I can't give this place my full five star review. If they would have been more attentive or acknowledged that they're short staffed then we could have worked around it. We wanted to come here to try their complimentary drinks and they were good but y experience was not what I had expected. Also, I do like the traditional massage chair unlike this place. BEWARE! If you come here -they don't have massage chairs! If you're here for a relaxing time for mani or pedi they have plastic ikea chairs for you to sit in and for a pedi they have an elevated sofa that stretches along the back wall for everyone to sit together which was a bit awkward
I was referred to the nail tech "My," by a friend whose nails always looked so good, and I wasn't too pleased with my nail tech at that time. Before i continue let me first inform you on how extremely picky i am and how nervous i was trying someone new with these high expectations that i have. But guess what, My killed it. She exceed my expectations and now she and i can argue for life because thats just what we do. She is super talented. Personal. Creative. She can talk whatever including gardening . Soooo, let me tell you about this little gem! The owner's name is My... get it?! MY Spa Lounge, hahaha. I thought that was so clever. The ladies here are extremely talented. I usually see Astrid; I honestly think she is obsessed with free-styling but I don't let her free style my nails cause I'll walk out with a $300 bill. Everyone here (My, Astrid and Gabby) take their time and does an amazing job. I'd highly recommend to book your appointments immediately following your service, they get BOOKED. So don't expect a last minute appointment, even on a Monday, hunnay! I even follow them on Instagram, and they keep you updated on any salon closings, last minute bookings, etc. I've honestly only had one less than pleasant experience here, but I didn't allow that to keep me from the best of the best. I no longer live across the street so it's harder for me to get here, but when I know I'll be in the area, I try to plan accordingly. This spa is reasonably priced, $42 for a powder set, but nails aren't the only services they offer. With an early booking, they offer full body massage services as well, or at least they used too; I'd call to double check. I personally haven't received one, but I don't doubt they are anything short of amazing!
For starters, I am a total NAIL SNOB! I usually get my manis and pedis at the Houstonian but I couldn't get a last-minute appt so I decided to try My Spa Lounge. Wait time: 30 min on a Saturday just after opening (10 am). I am not deducting stars for this because they were so kind about working me in even though I know appointments are always appreciated (I was the only walk-in there). Decor: Modern, comfortable, and calming. No crazy gold 80's photos on the walls or stereotypical asian-themed junk. Very nice. Price: See their website for a full price list but I got a classic mani ($15) and gel polish ($10) and was very very pleased with the quality for the cheap price. Staff: I was greeted upon entering and was told what my wait time would be. My biggest praise is that there was NO bantering to each other in vietnamese, etc. I do not mean to sound racist; I just hate when you can't understand what someone is saying; I always feel like they are talking about me and that is not a nice feeling! Maybe I'm crazy but anyway... the staff spoke to each other in english, and were sure to include the clients in conversations as well. However, if you just want to sit in silence like I did, it is not at all uncomfortable and they don't push you to make small talk. Also, I was NOT ONCE asked or pressured to upgrade my service. That is a big A+ in my book. Service: I got a classic gel mani over my natural nails. After basic filing, trim, and polish application (all done expertly with no nicking my skin),I was given a brief hand/ arm massage with lotion and a hot towel wrap on my hands. The entire thing took about 30-40 minutes. I loved that I didn't feel rushed. The selection of gel colors was great. They do have beverages in-house and did not object that I wanted my starbucks I had brought on the table next to me. Many other places do not allow this, so that was nice! Although it's definitely still a strip-mall place, I'd definitely say it's on-par with the Houstonian as far as the quality of service for what you pay; you definitely get MORE than what you pay for here, and I'll certainly be going back.
They're so nice and professional here. So elegant. Absolutely recommend 100%. They're a very small place and usually busy so call ahead or if you walk in, make an appointment then. They don't blabber on in Vietnamese and make you feel uncomfortable or try to upsell you on extra services. They're super duper clean and the salon is exactly like the name, more of a lounge. A lot of regular patrons come in and they're very accomadating to anything you want done. If I lived in Houston, I'd totally come back here every time!
I would say the overall experience was okay. The decor is really nice and pretty. I got a pedicure and a full set. The guy who did my pedicure was really nice and did a good job. The thing that made this experience just okay was the price. The girl who did my full set did a good job with making the shape and thickness of the acrylic the way I wanted. The only thing was she wouldn't let me get them shorter...so I'll just go home and file them (which kind of defeats the purpose of getting them done in my opinion). Everything was great until she rang me up and said "$71" holy crap. I've paid less for better. I've been getting my nails done for over 10 years and I don't mind paying for good quality. I'm not stingy on tips either...but when I asked why the price was like that she told me the brake down and mentioned that she charged me for the SHAPE of my nail. I hate places that do that. I understand if it's stiletto or almond but I just got coffin which isn't very hard. Oh well. I probably won't be a returning customer. Would've rated higher but that last moment was it for me.
This is seriously the only place I would go to get my nails done. I've had My and Tiny do my nails before and they both do an amazing job every time! It doesn't matter what picture I show them that I want, they're always able to do it or a better version of it. Love love love My Spa Lounge and would highly recommend
Saw this place on yelp, liked the reviews and decided to check it out, as the previous salon I had been going to just started to disappoint me. I got to the salon at about 5:40 and saw all technicians were busy, they asked me to wait about 20 mins and offered me a refreshment. I was seen by Ryan for a mani shellac, and he was so meticulous and good. He paid a lot of attention to my cuticles and the results show. I paid 27 which is the average for shellac and I'm pretty satisfied by it.. The place looks pretty, clean and professional. Definitely going back! EDIT: I have been going back every other month or so since I first went. Ryan no longer works there, but I've seen Tony (great at pedis!) and T who only works on weekends and is fun to talk to while getting a mani. I recommend to download their app if you go there often, as you get rewards.

I found this place a couple of months ago and have been coming here ever since. I don't typically get my nails done but they did such a great job I kept coming back every other week! Today I got a new nail tech who was absolutely horrible. She ignored my request for no cutting of the cuticles (even after my usual lady let her know), filed my nails AND SKIN so hard it hurt, and ended up clipping my skin too close and leaving nail polish on the side of my nails! The color she applied was not the one I picked but similar enough I just let it go. This experience reminded me why I hate going to get my nails done. When I went to pay I found out she had upcharged me for a hand massage I didn't ask for or want and then an attitude when I asked why the price was different than all my other visits. I regret not requesting my usual nail tech but she was busy with another client. Unfortunately this experience was enough to deter me from returning. read more
Service: I got the gel manicure. She did a good job with them with the right amount of nail coat layers. They haven't chipped. Price: $32 for gel manicure before tip. Ambiance: It's quiet and small place. There's no TV's, so I spent time watching tv shows on my phone. Cleanliness: I gave this a 3 star due to the cleanliness issue at the front entrance. The carpet was filthy as you can see from the photo, which made me question the cleanliness overall. When I got to the chair, it seemed clean with the white furniture, but I'm not very sure. I've seen cleaner places, so I don't think I would be going back. read more

The store is cute but the sofa wasn't very comfortable and they have 1 technician to do both my mani and pedi which took 2 hours. Shellac quality is terrible as they have bubbles, scratched and chipped within a week. Not worth the money read more

This is the best place I've found for a quick pedi where they won't charge over $30. In fact there are two options under $30 and one includes a massage. The ladies are very professional and the place is super CLEAN! Fair prices + awesome decor + professionalism + cleanliness = FIVE STARS! read more

I stopped by on a Thursday afternoon before a Holiday weekend and the place was quite busy. The place is super cute and modern with a nice relaxing feel to it. The only drawback is that they don't have the big regular massage chairs but I personally didn't miss them much. A older lady (not sure her name) started on my pedi like 15 min later. It was soothing and she did a great job. The Afterwards Mia did a full set with the Rose Gold powder. I loved it and Mia had a very nice and cheerful personality. I'll definitely be back to try more of their services. read more

I love this place! I can't believe I've been this close for the past 2 years and never visited this nail salon. First of all, I was greeted promptly when I walked in and helped immediately. Everyone was very friendly and told me the extra cost up front for what I wanted, which I like because I hate finding out after the service was provided. Miley did my pedicure and manicure and I was extremely satisfied with my nails and the service provided by Miley. Not to mention a great atmosphere, some wine and complete relaxation. She didn't rush on my pedicure or manicure like most places do, she took her time and made sure I liked what she was doing. I mean this is how customer service is supposed to be when your paying for services...right?! :-) I will be back for sure and refer my friends to this place! Keep up the great work ladies! read more

Found this salon via Yelp and so glad I stopped in! I am staying at the Embassy Suites for a conference and this was the perfect break I needed. Got a gel mani rue and special pedicure and it was wonderful. The salon is clean and stylish, the technicians are sweet and very thorough. I showed them a picture of the color and nail design I wanted and the tech helping me made it even better! I only live 45 away from this area so I might need to visit again when its time for new nails read more

OMG! My nails are amazing. I've NEVER been able to do 3 things in one place in Houston! My was nice, very down to earth and gave great customer service! I'm so excited. I tried Evan nails but it seems like they only did great on a new set and not the fills. I never had to tell her to fix a shape or out more powder because of it being missing on the side. Always a great experience here! Very professional staff, relaxing atmosphere with a wide array of services offered! I've gotten an ombré full set and deluxe pedi with add ons twice (done by Tony) and I have not been disappointed! The owner is friendly and you can tell they love their customers and take pride in the business. I'm even considering their micro loading service. In short, don't think about it JUST GO!! Broke a nail and took it as a sign to get a mani and pedi but didn't know where to go. I used Yelp and found this hidden gem nail salon. The site said by appointment only. I called and was able to schedule a same day appointment. The salon is cute, quiet and clean. Not crowded and I was greeted at the door. I had one working on my pedi and another immediately working on the soak off of my dipping powder. I don't recall my pedi tech's name; however, she was great. I'm ticklish and she still did a great job with all of my moving. The nail tech (Tenh?) was awesome. I showed a few pictures of nail designs i wanted and he did his best to make it happen. Overall, this place is nice. Great atmosphere, music plays in the background. Wine, water, etc is offered. The price is perI will return. read more

The ladies were super nice and friendly. Soft spoken, but not surprised by that. I got a mini duo (mani and pedi) for $27. Just the basic file and trim and polish. Lady was meticulous and gentle. My nails came out looking perfectly even all around. Really great job. The salon is clean and has nice upgrades. They lay a towel down on the seat and everything for you and clorox everything after. My friend got shellac, which was +$12 on top of the $27, which is a great deal. They messed up a little on two of her fingers (or maybe she touched something; it was a weird swirl looking thing under the topcoat). They happily re-did both nails right away. Second time it all looked great. I would recommend this place, and I would definitely come here again. Next time, I'll take a pic of the price list! read more

Okay let me start by saying that the owner "My" is on point. Her work, staff, energy is amazing. This is a fantasric relaxed nail boutique close to the energy corridor ! I come here for my full gel sets bc the work is great. My has previously done my nails which looked awesome, and the new tech Wynny just did a gel set for me, and they look bangin. This is the place to come If you want quality work. One last thing to note. I got the matching color "55" and the the color was NOT the exact same. My and Wynny more than willing to correct the issue and change the color to one that matched perfectly ! FYIs: 1. The chairs are not massage just FYI , but still comfy. 2. NO TVs here so you can chill and actually decompress 3. Amex and Apple Pay are not accepted 4. I recommend making appointments especially on Sat! read more

Amazing!!! Location and space : easy directions, easy to locate, and plenty of parking spaces. Inside is definitely trendy, clean, and just has a great ambience at My spa lounge. Staff: the owner My is amazing and a long with her staff.. Everyone greets you with a warm smile and nice to see their uniform is color coordinated, sleek and clean. I have been to some salons with employees who wear pajamas or look like they just rolled out of a mud pit. I had Tony which I have followed from previous salon who did my pedicure and My for a full set. Simply amazing!!!!! There are no other words to explain the great work they've done. First off let me say I started looking for nail salons before I ever moved to Houston. My nails are extremely important to me! While searching for the best nail salons, I ran across a few good choices, then I discovered My Spa Lounge. I was impressed with the work that this salon performed on other clients. I made my first appointment, and was immediately blown away at the quality, friendliness, and cleanliness of this establishment. The owner is the best nail technician I have ever been to. Her work is perfection, and her techniques are cutting edge. I go in expecting to be amazed by the finished results, and I am never let down. The creativity is out of this world. As long as I am a resident of Houston I will be a client at My Spa Lounge. read more

I been going to this place over a year and Mai knows just exactly what I like to do with my nails. Love that she's real creative and is a perfectionist. Everyone that I recommend there is always happy with the service they receive here. She also has a back up name Tan who's also is great too. Don't think I can ever use another nail tech ever. Love that my nails never break or lift after a month too. All I can say is good things that I can go on and on. Highly recommend this place to whoever loves doing nail art and likes to be creative with their nails. read more

How long does the full set last before breaking off?
Mine have lasted about a month. I usually take them off after a month. So I'm sure they can last longer.
