Not from the area, just dropped in while visiting. Cute place with a ritz vibe. Got right in a chair & Tony gently & sweetly gave me an AWESOME pedi. No painful cuts to cuticles, asked if I wanted the cheese grater BEFORE just going at it, gentle yet firm massage. AhhhhhhhI got the juice pedi. Used orange slices in the leg massage... saw someone getting a cucumber massage, too. Warm neck pad & neck massage at the end as well. Great experience! Friendly but expensive - they kept charging an extra $5 per design (ombre, french, white dots) for the set +$5 Hello kitty drawing per nail (4). Additional $ for length. Total came out to $285 ..... This was in September 18,2023. Only reason I paid that much was because they stayed after closing for me.The tech was barely done with the acrylic base when they locked up and I tried to tell them I'm okay with just a french design.They said "no, we can stay". I came in way before closing but it took a long time considering everything was not done simultaneously + toes and hands were acrylic. read more

Went in today for a gel mani/pedi. I did go around 10:30am and considering it was a weekday I did not expect for it to be busy so I was happy I got attended right away. The two nail techs got straight to work and did a good job. Price was okay ($88) and I say that because I've found myself paying over $90 at other nail salons for similar services. read more

I walked in at 6:50 without a reservation and was seated right away. Picked a nudish-pink color for my shellac manicure and the process was done just before 7:30. She was super quick and attentive. I had 3 coats of nail polish and the technician asked if I wanted more coats on top. I typically go with 3 so she applied the top coat. These lasted me 3-4 weeks, no chips at all, and I only needed to come back because my nails grow out so quickly! Only complaint is that I have very thin cubicles and the technician spent too much time cutting it. Not her fault though - I think it's just their standard practice. I'll note this next time before getting my nails done again. read more

Unfortunately after the number of times I've been there and their previous great service, I will not go back due to them taking advantage of my teenage daughter. Tried this place for the first time. The lady at the front was welcoming and friendly. I was looking for halo nails and she knew exactly what I was talking about. The place looks nice and organized. My tech was Micheal and he was kind. I was offered water during which was nice. Overall I was happy with the outcome of my nails. However within a day and today (day 2), the side of my nails are already peeling. I'm a little disappointed because this shouldn't happen. Parking was easy and prices were reasonable. I'm not quite sure if I want to go back though. read more

I used to frequent this place, but their customer service at the front is off and awkward. Kayla (my preferred nail tech) does great nails and has amazing customer service but unfortunately the front hostesses always tend to ruin it for me with snide underhanded comments. Also being forced to make all of your service selections (ie nail design/pedicure type) before you even sit down is a little awkward. Personally I enjoy sitting down & selecting so I can read the energy around me - if the energy is good (no weird snide comments or employees rushing etc then I'm likely to select a longer more relaxing service. If I don't agree with the energy, I prefer to select the services that will get me in and out the quickest. Nails by Ann across the street is cool. They do great nails but ambiance prompts me to get in and out as quickly as possible lol but I can say they've never made any snide comments, and they are very fast. read more

This is a beautiful salon with horrible service and even worse quality. I was told by the gentleman doing my nails that he'd charge $7 for my toenails, and my card was charged almost double for it. He pretended not to speak English when I brought it to him- though he'd been chatting with me all day. He did not give me the difference back stating "it's only a few dollars." I do not condone this level of poor customer service and they do not have to worry about me spending another dime here. Even if it were okay to just rip me off, the nails I got BROKE WITHIN ONE WEEK. I am flabbergasted and disgusted. Perhaps they should invest in their supplies as they do their decor. I should have followed my first mind and listened to the reviews of others stating that these nails do not last. Perhaps I should have turned around when another group of ladies ahead of me were complaining about not receiving the works (or lotion) during their "deluxe" pedicure. My first time there. Pros: beautiful ambiance, they're very nice and accommodating, they offer drinks. Service is very good. Cons: Probably one of the worst mani/pedis I've gotten as far as execution :(. 2 diff ppl did my mani and pedi ...: both were terrible at shaping. My nails had a nicer shape walking in than walking out. I asked for square on both (mind you, they were already square)... my nails came out in this weird crescent moon shape, the ends of my nails aren't smooth or even.... They're jagged. As for the polish itself ... application wasn't smooth in some areas. Application of toe nail polish by pedicurist was much better but again ... the shaping was poor & I had to speak up about it more than once. I've actually never experienced such a poor job at shaping natural Nails by professionals ever. I'm thinking maybe they're not used to doing regular manicures/pedicures. read more

I really wanted to like this place. They have a great menu of services. I forget names, but the guy who did my pedi did a great job with the massage. Lopsided/no shape of toenails and the polish was awful. Woman who did my mani was way too fast, I paid for extra time on the massage and she pretty much just lightly touched my skin. Mani/pedis are expensive. This place was not worth it. read more

She was an angel and put my new nails on...everything was going great until it came down to polishing and doing the recommended design I wanted. I was so let down and she knew it too. Our trip here was unplanned and was on an impulse. Even so, this establishment was a good first impression the minute we walked through the door. It was clean, nicely decorated, relaxing ambience, and the people were nice. I got the Express Pedicure ($25), Classic Manicure ($20), and added Shellac on my nails ($20). Though they were quick to bring me in on a Sunday afternoon and was attentive to my overall experience, I can say that I am impressed with the overall outcome. The color came out cute but I've had better for cheaper elsewhere. For $65, I felt that I could've received better quality. As you can see in the picture, the cuticle area isn't evenly painted and some skin weren't trimmed all the way during the manicure. Overall, I think that they're a nice place with nice people and good color selections, but I would be hesitant to come back. They're worth a try if you're in the area! read more

I just moved to the westchase area and was looking for a nail salon! I'm so glad this one came up because it has to be one of my favorites. The young lady that checks you in is very sweet and directs you to the different colors they have. They offer all kinds of nail services/waxing and reasonably priced. Everyone is wearing masks and following social distancing! They take walk ins and appointments I got the juicy fruity pedicure and the nail tech did a great job. Came in Saturday to get my nails done. Showed a picture, and Ryan did them very similar, but not like I wanted it. I payed and left anyways, because they still looked good! The next day (Sunday) my nails were already peeling up. Went back in to get them fixed, and I was given attitude from my tech. He rushed through "fixing" them. I'm sitting in my car right after and my nails are already peeling, and the gel is so thick it's getting on my skin when I touch them. Very disappointed and would not spend my money here again. read more

I'm in this area quite often but never noticed this location. It's right in between five below and torchy's. They were open on a Sunday so I decided to try them out. First thing that stood out is how organized and simple their processes. There's no confusion with pricing or anything like that. Would you check in and let them know what you want they print out an invoice to review prior to starting your services that layout all the pricing. I know for me in places that I've been to sometimes there's up charges or prices that are mentioned and then the cost is different than what I was expecting. My services were done by John and Kevin and both of them had a ton of great quality. John did my full set with shellac and he is extremely detailed on his work. Kevin did my pedicure and is very attentive to my needs and is the massage king. He probably gave the best massage I've had in quite some time with a pedicure. I was super happy with my first service and look forward to coming back for my refill. read more

Perhaps they are under new management but obvious decline in service and quality since summer. No hot pillow Lady taking care of me seemed rude - perhaps due to language barrier. Nails not really clipped. I asked for other services I didn't get. Granted I didn't have to pay for them but when checking out I told how dissatisfied I was and the cashier said "oh she doesn't speak English." Not an acceptable excise. Simple requests like "hot stone and massage" should be easily comprehensible. I would not have minded paying more. I let her know they lost a customer. It could have been handled differently and better (with an apology and or a discount ) but no. People in front would benefit from some customer service training. That's where it could have been salvaged. Will try Planet Nail Bar next time. This was an awful experience read more

I went last Wednesday to get a shellac pedicure and manicure - I selected color pink. Next day I was traveling and third day nails and toenails changed color to white and shellac was peeling off. I return home from my trip and Called the salon to let them know about the nails changing color and peeling off - when shellac should last at least 3 weeks. The girl who answered the phone told me to go for them to fix it - I live 1 hour away from them and I went today for them to fix it and a very nasty and greedy guy told me they can't do it because is past the 5 days - I told him I was traveling and yesterday I called and the girl told me to come back for you guys to fix it. He said NO I can't do it - you will have to pay half price - I said I didn't received the service I requested and I already pay $90. Plus $10. Tip. He said he will not fix my nails and that I will have to pay.. Nasty cheap service and nail polish, shellac. Check at pics shellac changed color and I didn't request that also shellac peeling off in 1 week. read more

To Expensive for not very good manicure or pedicure, I went here cause I wanted to treat my mom for a pedicure and I chose the peel pedicure that's focused on calluses, they didn't even peeled or scrubbed them or anything! They're still there... as for me I chose a classic manicure, I showed her a picture and this is what I got, the point of the nail is not centered, she left black on the edges and there's literally blacked smudged on the nail when she did the clear coat, her name was Helen, she's nice but not very good... not coming here again read more

3 stars because this place is alright. A decent job all depends on the technician you get and the day of your visit. The nail salon offers a great selection of good quality materials, but keep in mind prices are a tad bit over priced. You'll occasionally have a technician set you a price and get charged for higher one. Something to watch out for. Student and member discounts are available. While their point system alleviates only 10% of your overall services, keeping in mind this place is over priced and it all depends on what you find spend worthy. Overall, we all want to get what we pay for but this usually doesn't happen when you have technicians who just want to get the job done. I usually spend about an hour, while getting quickly attended when I walk in on a weekday morning for a dip powder full set. This is not always the case. Ask for Michelle she's a great technician, and make sure to give that women a good tip. She's quite efficient about her artistry. Something I can't say about the others that work here. read more

I've been coming here for 3 years. Recently came in for a pedicure and a nail reshape (I had gotten a full set the week before). Came in at 2:45 pm on a Friday without an appointment. Extremely busy and had about a 20 min wait. I was then seated and pedicure started by Vivian (she's the best by the way). By 5:00 as my pedicure was finishing up, I asked the owner the status of a nail tech to shape my nails. She advised that no one had freed up. Which was a lie. I had seen so many people come in, without appointment, be seated. I asked her "so you don't think you'll have anyone available to shape and refile my nails?" She said no and walked off. Listen. I was livid. Because I realized the game they were playing. Since I was not spending money on a full set or refill, they did not want to service me and miss out on other paying customers. I decided at that point to stop giving them my hard earned money. Prior to this incident, I had given them my business on slow days and busy days. I also tip their employees quite well. There are times when I'll visit twice in one week. But this experience prompted me to never give them my business again. Ever. Their loss! read more

The spa is a little hidden in a business office environment and it's no frills unlike other spas (i.e. You're not going to hang out in a tea room in a robe), however the place was very clean, cozy, smelled great, and each room was designed perfectly and had the proper cozy ambience. It would be hard to disagree, considering this is a place that reminds me of spas back in Asia. Undoubtably the prices skew somewhat higher, and while they offer credit cards as an option, the fee is almost never worth it. Cash is king and they will round up, because most items and with .99 (e.g. $49.99). What I would argue is the facility is nice enough to warn the slightly higher price and overall solid massage experience. First timers will be directed to a binder, with a breakdown of multiple massages at different prices, and for different lengths of time. I would recommend looking at their website, or doing a little bit of research prior to coming. Sometimes calling ahead of time will work, as the lady boss speaks good English and is able to set appointments based on preferences. Eventually, most folks will be directed to change in their locker rooms, which have showers, vanity mirrors, and personalized lockers. Surprisingly all of the lockers are out of order, which I suspect is a safety measure than a functionality issue. The men's locker room is spotless and offers multiple types of showers. However, none of the lockers are in use or are able to be used. While they do provide shorts and uniforms for people, they don't provide baskets or ways to hold the clothes. People basically have to carry it around. One of their best services is the foot massage. It's excellent and one of the better places in Chinatown to get it. Their massage chair is out in the open and is fancy enough to have a built-in sink for foot soaking and comfy enough cushion to lay flat for front and back. Additionally, they will eventually do a neck, shoulder, and back rub (over clothes + towel) and it remains one of their best valued options. The rooms are extremely clean. It's extremely professional the whole time. They offer back walking which is their version of a deep tissue massage. Unlike a lot of other Chinese massage places where it's questionable from a hygiene standpoint, there is no worry of this here. They offer full bottles of room temperature water for everyone and parking is a cinch. Ultimately one's experience varies with every masseuse, but the men that work here pull off a very good foot massage and that would be my biggest recommendation.
