Get the sense that staff genuinely strives to do a good job here. Have had a little confusion over conflicting recommendations but at least everyone makes a strong effort to help. Far better than my experience at Sherwin Williams, and upon reading I discovered Dunn Edward's is specialized for desert climates, which is definitely a plus. Young man who is there virtually every day has been exceptionally good with recommendations and insight. Glad this location is close by. read more

I literally hate this store and the employees are completely rude and unhelpful. They gave me the wrong paint (wrong texture) and I have to repaint my whole fence because of it which is costing time and money and they refuse to take responsibility for their mistake. Now it's costing me $600 to have the fence repainted plus the cost of more paint. Every time I've been here nothing but rude workers with bad manners. Their paint is also the stinkiest paint I've ever seen. I painted my office with their basic white flat paint and it smelled awful for 2 months and needed primer and 4 coats because their paint is so bad.... Dealing with the manager now. Working away on home improvement projects during Covid-19, it was time to face touch up painting the exterior stucco on my house. I ordered paint samples online and quickly received them in the mail. I was able to call the store to order and pay for the paint and then pick it up at their curbside pickup in the back of the building within the hour. I did not have the same experience as most of the folks that have reviewed this store diss. I went in yesterday around 4 to get some paint for a master bedroom makeover. The guy behind the counter was not helpful at all, when he asked what sheen I wanted I asked what the options were. He quickly rattled through about 5 of them. I called my son at home and asked if he could check the cans to se me what we had previously used and I was able to get my sheen that way but while we were waiting for paint to mix I notice on a wall they have all the different options of sheen painted on canvas boards so why didn't he point us to those to at least visibly see the difference. He hands me my paint and I had to ask for the paint sticks and opener, he had no intention on giving them to me. Much different experience than I have had at even Home Depot. read more

I ordered a five gallon bucket of paint (really 4.48 gallons). I was little surprised that the cost was $280 with tax seemed high but it's been a few years since I have bought Dunn Edwards paint. Had two pleasant experiences so far at this store so I thought I might as well give them a good review. The first time I came in it was just an overall pleasant experience. It was actually this time that was worth mentioning though. Ordered two 5gallons for a home project but got it wrong because I forgot paint dries and changes color. When I explained this to the man behind the counter he instantly knew what he could do to save my other gallon so that everything didn't go to waste. We are getting our house painted by Arizona Painting co. who use Dunn Edwards paint. We made an appointment with color advisor Helena. Sent her some pictures of the house and she used her program on the computer to show us how the new colors would look. So cool ! She was very helpful for making decisions. Had a great experience today at this Dunn Edwards location. We met with Kayla for a free color consultation for our new home, and she was tremendously knowledgeable and helpful. We brought in a carpet sample, told her what we were aiming for, and she produced a beautiful color palette for us and explained the different types of paint and which we should use on which surface.
