Today was about the worst experience of my life at Home Depot. And I love this place. I was in line although there's no clear place where you should be standing to be in line for the Pro center when someone finally did notice me, he pointed about 30 feet away at the end of the lumber aisle where the line began although there was no line there was one person waiting about 30 to 50 feet away from where you would even be noticed. So I got in line and I asked the guy how long he had been there because these three guys aren't helping customers they're on the phone. They're on the computer, but they haven't really acknowledged my existence or his existence. I finally told him let's move up the line closer to where they can see us so that they don't forget us and once we did that one of the gentlemen took the guy Riteaway, which means, obviously, he didn't know somebody was waiting. So then I waited an additional 10 minutes, just to ask the question and was ignored, even after the gentleman in front of me left, he didn't acknowledge me. He didn't say I'll be a few more minutes, sir. No acknowledgment from any of these three guys and the two people that walk through. Finally a lady who showed up five minutes before finished up with her customer, her name was Bobby and she was on her way out the door to go home and I said, just a quick question I need something installed and I filled out the form at homedepot.com and there's people calling me that will not install things I buy at Home Depot. Why are you suggesting these people on your website. She apologized. She took a moment to take my information and put it in the computer even though she should be going home, and I kept telling her no, you don't need to do this. Just go home I will find another way to do this. I used to be in the union and it is unfair that you should go home and you're helping me, but it did only take a few minutes and I can't thank her enough for putting me in the computer in the right place that I can find somebody to install a walk-in shower for my mom who fell last night. Bobby, I love you The, the rest of you can KMA you should acknowledge customers you should have a place where they wait in line where you can see them or acknowledge them when they walk up this place totally sucks except for Bobby.

They said "no problem" and happily took my money. I emphasized that i was not available in the afternoon- it must be before noon. I received a text on Wednesday, confirming my delivery. I replied "yes, but it must be before noon." I received a confirmation text. On Friday at 7:21 PM (Eastern time), they sent me a text, saying delivery between 2PM and 6PM on Saturday. I replied "NO, IT MUST BE BEFORE NOON. It texted me back a phone number to call - but they only take calls until 7:00 PM (Eastern time). So they tell you they're going to miss the delivery window after it's too late to contact them [A cowardly move]. I called the store, and they said they couldn't help me, because deliveries are done by a third party. Bottom line: (1) Once Lowe's gets your money, you're on your own, and (2) They'll gladly take your payment for the delivery, but tell you to talk to the hand if there's a problem with delivery. You might think this is not the fault of Lowe's Carlsbad, but that's who took my money, that's who agreed to the delivery window, and that's who blew me off when a problem arose. Moral to the story, don't buy anything from Lowe's, that you can't carry yourself.

If you have an idea, walk around the store and there's bound be away to make your dream come true, I had to manufacture brackets to repair a table. The original brackets were no longer available. I found the appropriate bolt with the proper thread that most stores do not carry a large washer and I use a metal sealant to include two parts and drilled holes to screw them into the bottom of the table. Value sense of account accomplishment fixing something that they thought they're gonna have to throw away. the elderly couple actually still use this table and hope to use till the day they carried out their front door feet first.
