I actually don't mind at all not being greeted. I would be exhausted to say any word if standing there for hours. I wish they had comfy sofa chairs, but then people would hang in there even longer I guess, LOL.

I've always looked forward coming here whenever I find myself in the area - most notably, when I sub at nearby St. John Vianney Catholic Church as an accompanist/liturgical musician. Their space is vibrant, and did I mention that you do not need a code to use their restrooms?! My go-to beverage is their Iced Green Tea during the warmer months, and during the winter time - their Holiday Spice Latte with an extra espresso shot or two! (highly recommended) So, what is the Holiday Spice Latte? It features a pleasant but not overwhelming fusion of cloves, ginger and cinnamon, the holiday spice latte is a refined festive drink that we honestly loved. While it is made with Peet's signature dark-roast holiday spice blend, the coffee flavor is not overbearing, so it would definitely hit the spot even for a medium or light roast drinker. The latte highlights the spices -- the best part of the blend -- while not being overly complicated. I've also enjoyed their Horchata Cold Brew Oatmilk Latte, as well as their Peppermint Mochas when the season calls for it. In addition, their beverages pairs perfectly with their savory and/or sweet items that I enjoy during my break in between masses at nearby St. John Vianney Catholic Church!

Very spacious interior, plenty of tables and chairs inside. My drink was ready when I got there and it looked correctly made. Loved how they added the whipped cream at no charge though. I was able to grab a seat and start a new book. Had a nice quiet time here.

I really wish when I am on vacation I could sleep in, but that's just not how it works. The good thing of us getting here early is there is plenty of parking, they don't run out of the bagels we like, there is plenty of indoor seating, and the line is short. So all and all it works for us. I have lots of favorites. I like the anything bagel for the garlic flakes on it. I find it so yummy, but then you don't want to go out in public with garlic breath. I love the Cinnamon Sugar Crunch bagels as I love the crunch, but these are way too sticky. I'm not such a fan of the Strawberry as it doesn't taste too much like Strawberry, but now that I'm into the strawberry smear I get the bagel to match. A few prices: $4.50 bagel reg cream cheese $5 bagel with cream cheese flavored $2.50 plain bagel $3.25 gourmet bagel- Asiago $3.75 bagel with butter To day I splurged and got the strawberry bagel with strawberry flavored cream cheese. He to a Cinnamon crunch bagel. Due to it has a sticky crust on it they won't toast it, but will heat it up in their microwave. He got butter on it and I shared some of my cream cheese with him. I've notices that lately they are smearing on a lot less cream cheese on their bagels. I miss the big glob they used to put on the bagels. It's still tasty with less, but I still miss it. We added a large coffee for $3.75

They tend to run out of their more niche bagels pretty early. I came around 8:45am and they were already running low on their fruit bagels (the blueberry bagel is to die for!!) and were completely sold out of their limited edition pumpkin bagel. There's pretty much always a line, but honestly, the bagels are worth the wait! The staff are always great, and the bagels are some of the most delicious and perfectly toasted bagels I've had. Just get there early if you have your heart set on a specific flavor!

I do think I was charged extra for the waffle cone, though, it was fine, but nothing special. Overall, a nice spot for a quick ice cream fix!

If you've purchased a pint of Häagen-Dazs from Safeway or 7/11, you'll recognize it when you buy the same flavor here as it's exactly the same. There's no improvement (it's not more fresh), and about the only upside is they scoop it for you and you can have it put in a cone. The space itself is small but the set up doesn't work well as people crowd around the long cases making it hard to order and although I found the service helpful it was a bit hands off. All in all, while it's decent ice cream, you're better off just getting a pint from the grocery store.

I actually have nothing bad to say about this place. It's clear that Johnny's is a mom & pop store,…read moregiven that the people serving you appear to be a family. I love that aspect of this place, as usually they really care about their reputation and the quality of their products. And in this case, I was right. I ordered 6 donuts. Some old fashioned, apple fritter, cream filled, etc. they gave me extras for some reason, and I can't really complain about that at all, but even if they didn't, they checked all the boxes. The donuts were such good quality. I'd put them over other major chains just because of their attention to detail on the yumminess of each donut. And when I walked in to this spot, they were attentive within 30 sec and ensured I got the help I needed. In the pictures, you can clearly see all of the donuts on display - massive and delicious, with the ambiance of the store being narrow yet clean, not too cluttered, and very easy to order. Will definitely be back.

I got a raspberry jelly filled donut, a…read moreglazed, a chocolate custard filled, a chocolate round (yeast), a maple bacon round, a maple white cake, and a chocolate cake with peanuts (and two donut holes were thrown in for free). The ones I liked the most were the raspberry jelly filled, the glazed, and both the maple bacon and chocolate round donuts. While they are all super soft and fluffy inside, the glazed seemed to be moreso. I was also surprised by the raspberry jelly -- it actually tasted like real raspberries, and there are seeds in it as well, so I'm assuming there are real raspberries in it. It was tart and sweet, and so unexpected. I would get that one again for sure. The chocolate and maple glazed are both very tasty. The chocolate is very chocolatey and actually tastes good (unlike some other places), and the maple has a solid maple flavor. The ones I didn't like were both the cake donuts, and the custard filled. The donut and chocolate part of the custard donut tasted good, but the custard is awful -- it has some strange taste, almost like a minty chemical taste, but not a good mint either, and why does it have such a flavor, anyways? It tastes artificial, and I wish they could make a real custard -- that would be amazing in this donut! Both the cake donuts had some strange, artificial taste in them as well. If they could get rid of the artificial taste, and make a cake donut without it, that would be stellar! I wouldn't purchase any of these again, as they currently are. They seem to shine at making their yeast donuts, not the cake ones, and the raspberry filled is worth getting, while the custard is not (unless you like artificial/chemical tastes). The man behind the counter was very friendly, and he had a good energy. **Edit after posting -- Upon further taste testing of the custard, it reminds me of Pepto Bismol, with a hint of vanilla. So if you think you might enjoy that flavor combination, you would like this donut.
