The shop is bright and super cute making it very inviting when you come in. If you've never actually browsed some of the trinkets and different things they sell, you should look next time you're in. I've found some super adorable and thoughtful birthday cards there. But this review isn't just about the cake or the shop. I genuinely want to praise the workers here who are so incredibly sweet and understand what it means to give good customer service. I called about a small mix up that ended up being my error, but they handled it extremely well and were very understanding and kind. Now the problem, once the birthday recipient took the cellophane off of the cake, we found a long brown hair right on the cake. I had no other cake so we just ate off the opposite side of where the hair was. The other disappointment was the candle on the cake, it didn't burn, just a red glow on the top of the wick. The taste? The cakes from Nothing Bundt Cakes are very good. We got two of the 8-inches: Red Velvet and White Chocolate Raspberry. Both were delicious. $33 each as of May 2024. Red Velvet - loved the deep chocolate flavor on the cake, and the frosting had a note of cream cheese. However, I wasn't a big fan of the chocolate chips in the cake; they took me away from the red velvet experience in my opinion. But overall, it was a good cake and it was moist and dense, just how I like my Bundt cakes. White Chocolate Raspberry - I loved this better than the red velvet in general. The white chocolate flavor came through and the raspberry added some tang and freshness that cut through the heaviness from the white chocolate. The cake was as moist and a bit more dense than the red velvet, which is why I liked this one more! But I despised the raspberry seeds that I found in the cake and bit on all the time :( But all the above was not enough for me to deduct any star from my rating/review. What knocked 2 stars off my review was the unfriendly female staff that was assisting us on Friday 5/24/24 at around 5:45 pm. She looked very unfriendly with no smiles whatsoever. She didn't thank us for the purchase and didn't help us whatsoever with putting the cakes into our bag. I ordered three dozen bundtinis online and at time of pickup I asked for a separate box so I could split one of the orders into two, as I was dropping these off at different veterinary hospitals for their staff members. The assistant told me no. Offered no explanation or other option. I thought she was kidding so I asked if she was serious and she said yes. I asked again for any type of separate container, bag, etc... and explained why, and she simply told me no, it's not allowed. She says this as she is literally surrounded by stacks of empty to go boxes. I asked if I could speak with the store manager and she told me I was speaking with her. Certainly not a positive customer experience, and honestly what is the harm in providing your customer with an additional to go box. I bet Crumbl provides separate to go containers with no problem. :). It's too bad, I enjoy buying product from Nothing Bundt Cake as gifts for my team members but really put off by this last experience. Maybe is under new/cheap owner or they really want to lose business, I'm saying this because when we purchased cakes that cost over $8 each you spect to get at least a spoon with it right? That's just a courtesy or good customer service, the cashier told us to go across the street and get a spoons from a store if we want to. If you special order the mini Bundt cakes with the "sentiment flag" decorations on the top, those decorations are sharp plastic picks...please do everything within your power to make sure your dog doesn't sneak a cake and ingest the plastic toothpick. I walked in at 5:45pm and this gentleman was helping me. I requested a custom order and he said unfortunately they are unable to do that because they closed their frosting 1 hour before they closed. I said, ok, I walked in at 5:45pm and it's 5:50 now and you close at 7pm. He asked the "manager" Victoria to see if she can make an exception since I did arrive an hours and 15 minutes before closing, but she said no. I'm a working mom and I wasn't able to arrive earlier, but I promised my daughter she can pick 12 bundlets for her birthday. She told me the flavors she wanted as we were driving to the store. Since I promised, I never go back on my word. I felt like I was forced to buy 3 big ones since they wouldn't customized the box for me. Nothing better than a Bundt cake for your birthday! We always make it a point to come by for a couple minis to enjoy on our actual birthdays. The cakes are always nice and moist and the cream cheese frosting is tasty! The best one in my opinion and the first one you need to order is the white chocolate raspberry. The lemon once is also tasty! The lemon is pretty light but you still get a hint eating it. I do have to say though that I am not a fan of the red velvet. I've enjoyed bundt cakes at many events from this place and they never disappoint! Always super light and soft with a delicious cream cheese frosting. I tend to lean towards the citrusy flavors because of the very very slight sourness that balances out the sweet since the cakes can get overwhelmingly sweet. I also love how they give out a free bundlet for your birthday. I chose the lemon raspberry and it has to be one of my favorite flavors along with confetti. Upon picking up my cake, looking for parking was a big challenge since it's always busy in that small shopping center, with Ross and a restaurant next door. But hey, if you get an urge to shop, Ross is right next door. And if you're craving pizza, there's a pizza spot across the street. I stood in a long line since they only allow 3 people inside due to Covid. An employee walked out and asked if I was ordering a cake or picking up. I told her I was picking up and she took my name and went inside to grab my cake. I wanted to order a bundlet and she went back inside to grab me my lemon bundlet and rang me up outside instead of me having to go back in that long line. Never a bad experience coming to this location. Only downside is the parking, so be prepared to spend some time looking for a parking spot unless you're lucky! I placed an order online for a co-worker's birthday. Picked up the cake, mini bundts, and balloons around 5pm yesterday. Birthday lunch was today. The balloons didn't even last through the night. They were on the floor when I came in to work in the morning. Disappointing. Then there was an issue with the mini bundts. Extra disappointing. I called the store and spoke with the manager on duty. I have to say that as unpleased I was, the prompt attention to my situation and immediate refund was greatly appreciated. Thank you. Out of all the Nothing Bundt Cakes location, this is my favorite. You can't never go wrong with a bundt cake, I usually pick something up from here for family or friend's birthdays and they are always a hit. You can't go wrong with any of the flavors you have but my two favorites are definitely pecan praline and lemon cake. They have an order online feature which I love to take advantage of so that all I have to do when I get to the store is pick up my cake. Note: if you do not place an order ahead and want decorations for your cake you will have to wait 20 to 40 minutes depending on how busy they are. The store always smells so good it's honestly such a challenge for me to only pick up a cake for family/friends and not purchase a little bundtlet for myself! read more

I missed the top description that said silk and only saw the product description that said frosting petals. why would you call straight lines on a Bundt cake Petals? the only reason I paid extra money for this is because I thought it had a frosting flower on top instead, it has an ugly, fake silk flower. I love nothing bundt cakes this is my first time going to this location. It was my friends birthday and I love that cakes are already made and delicious. I didnt see the confetti 8' on the menu in the case so I asked and they did have it. I wanted to get it decorated but it was going to take 20 min. I just wanted to make it cute so I asked for a flower which was $7, thats really pricey to me but it made the cake. The cake itself was $27 which isn't that bad, it was really moist and delicious. Love the bundtlets! I first discovered Nothing Bundt Cakes when I moved to Fremont in 2017, and have enjoyed their treats at my various jobs in Fremont, Menlo Park, and now Walnut Creek. My favorite bundtlets are red velvet and confetti. Other flavors I've liked are lemon and pumpkin, I believe I had their cakes at some point but unfortunately I forget which flavor. My only memory is that the cake seemed more dry than the bundtlets, but I would still try their cakes in the future as that could have been a one off. I look forward to enjoying more treats from NBC in the future! read more
