I'm giving this place a 4 star mainly because I loved one of the 4 cookies I tried. I'm not a huge Crumbl cookie fan, I think they have too much going on and are extremely sweet. This place looked like it was a bit toned down in comparison and was hoping it wouldn't be as sweet. I asked my husband to get me a box of 4 - the OG chocolate chip, the lemon head, Biscoff, and 3 leches. OG chocolate chip - 3 stars. Nothing amazing, I'd choose a Costco cookie over this taking into consideration the size and price Lemon head - 2.5 stars. I didn't realize it actually had lemon head candies at the bottom. I love sour candies, but not on my cookie. I know, probably my fault for not paying attention to the actual ingredients, I saw lemon on the website and got excited. Biscoff - 4.5 stars. By far the tastiest cookie even 4 days after buying it 3 leches - 4 stars. Loved the gooey center. They were definitely still very sweet, I split the box with my husband and the only cook we ate in its entirety the day of was the tres leches. 4 days later and we finally finished the last of the Biscoff. I'd go back for a Biscoff and maybe trying some new flavors, once in a while though since I can't justify spending $30 for 4 cookies that often. Definitely better than Crumbl, I'd still put Insomnia cookies first though.
When I found out Chip was born out of pregnancy cravings, I HAD to pay a visit!!! During my pregnancy, my love for cookies increased tenfold! So it makes me happy to hear about another mama's love for cookies during their pregnancy. Their location is in a plaza with lots of restaurants, so parking may or may not be an issue. It took Yelp Elite Dario O. and I awhile to find parking, and when we did, we had a bit of a walk; which was totally okay. Just fair warning to anyone visiting this location. There are no seating in and outdoors. It's a spot for you to just grab your cookies and go. However, they do sell Chipzookies which is exactly what you're probably thinking - warm cookie with a scoop of ice cream. So I kind of wish there was a place to sit inside or out to enjoy this. I think a bar table and some stools in one of the corners would be nice; esp since they also sell milk! I could definitely see myself and others take a break from whatever and just enjoy some milk and cookies. So for the cookies, I ordered the 4 pack. I got the OG, Biscoff, Oreo Dunk, and their monthly special at the time- Cinnamon Roll. The Oreo Dunk Chip is their Dutch cocoa cookie infused with sweetened condensed milk and topped with crushed oreos and white chocolate! This one was my absolute fave!!! It looks super sweet, but it was right amount of chocolate and sweetness. If you're unsure of what cookie to get, I 100% recommend getting the OG. You can never go wrong with a classic chocolate chip cookie. It's also their signature and award winning, handmade flavor. Service was great! She was friendly and talked us through her personal faves; which is always nice to hear! Overall, i'd go come back here for cookies when i'm in the area!
I love a good cookie, especially after pregnancy ~ cookies and desserts in general were my thing. I appreciate a spot that is also dedicated to spreading the cookie love to the masses. There are so many spots that seem to have been popping up over the last year or two, but Chip Cookies stands out as a special one for sure in the family. The smell of freshly baked cookies is also something that is so nostalgic and hard not to bring a smile on anyone's face. Located in a shopping center in WC, this Chip Cookies location sells simple and also unique flavors ~ you can have them plain or frost em', top em', infuse em', finish em', or like me, just have them plain. The ice cream sandwich was calling my name but in all honesty, there's nothing like a warm and gooey cookie by itself. I can't get enough of the biscoff cookie ~ it has pieces of biscoff cookie within the cookie, white chocolate chips, and biscoff cookie butter in the middle...yes to it all. Other favorites are the OG chip (choco chip), which also comes in mini size. If you're gifting or wanting to create this experience at home, there's cookie dough to purchase as well. There are fun cookie-of-the-week flavors ~ this week is Cadbury Chip for Easter. With extremely quick build-as-you-go service and beautiful packaging, I think Chip Cookies is here to stay. I'll splurge on these next time I'm in the WC area, with locations baking up in Brentwood and Dublin too!
I love cookies and I love to go to cookie shops. Chip cookies is really cute. I like the sign that lists all the items and prices. I do not like the prices! It's very expensive. I thought the cookie was all right, but not great. it reminded me a lot of of Crumbl. I had to wait quite a while to have somebody come out of the back to help me so that was kind of annoying. I got the chocolate chip cookie, which is their classic. It was OK, but I just thought it was too cakey for me. The parking is exceptional and the whole area is great so you can eat and then go get a cookie afterwards for dessert. I can't you get used to a cookie being so expensive but that's just me.
Stopped by Chip Cookies with my mom to pick up a quick, sweet treat. The shop itself is cute and has a simple layout with minimal decorations. Customer service was excellent and the staff member that helped us was very kind, patient, and willing to answer questions. My mom was a little indecisive about which cookies to choose. We ended up getting a mini OG, SW chip, and the biscoff chip without any toppings or ice cream. I will say the cookies were a bit underwhelming, I had hoped they'd taste better or leave an impression. I tried both the mini OG and SW chip, and noticed both were a bit dense and doughy in texture. The cookies were not overly sweet. The SW chip had a lot of chocolate but was alright for the most part. While the cookies were fairly average from my experience, I thought the quality of service was great. I may return to try out an ice cream sandwich if I'm in the area. I also wonder whether the limited time/ special flavors are better tasting. However, Chip is worth visiting if you're fan of cookies and craving something sweet.
Chip Cookies is a relatively new addition to The Orchards at Walnut Creek. I came here with my friend and fellow Elite David A. on 08/23/2024 for a Yelp perk that he was selected to participate in. This cookie shop is located on the east side of the shopping center, next to Dulce's Antojitos. We walked in at around 4:30 pm and were immediately greeted by the staff. The interior was surprisingly spacious and nicely decorated. Cleanliness was excellent. Aside from the comped perk, David also got two additional cookies, and he was nice enough to share the Tres Leches Chip one with me. It was a butter cookie topped with condensed milk, whipped cream, and cinnamon sugar. The cookie was warm and moist, and the toppings weren't overly sweet. Overall, the combination worked. Our interaction with the staff was positive. They were very friendly and welcoming. If you are a cookie person, this is definitely the place for you!
This place is cute and the cookies are delicious me and my daughter came here. And we definitely will be coming back. Fresh cookie and very delicious.
When you have that sweet tooth and just nothing will do... door dash Chip in Walnut Creek. These seriously taste home made and with some crazy combinations. Delicious cookies, fast service and a company you can get behind. I recommend stopping in the store if you get a chance... the selection and service will make you a believer. Very cute little business I'm happy to support.
Gooooooooooooooooooooood cookies come here if you didn't come here before taste is good love it good for Sundays
After hearing about how much more my friend likes Chip compared to that other overhyped cookie chain, I decided to try it last weekend to compare. I got the cookies & cream cookie with no toppings. I could definitely taste the cookies and cream and was way better than said competitor's version that seems overly sugary. I've never had a stuffed cookie so that made Chip's version unique. Maybe next time I'll add toppings. The employee was very nice and appreciative of my business. He was patient with my questions as a first time customer. Since I came later in the evening, i was the only person in the store and had no issues parking. I know from experience that parking in the orchards shopping center can be difficult during lunch time and I'm sure Chip is quite busy during the day as well. Cash or card accepted. I can't wait to come back and try more flavors and toppings!
Overall good service and nice and clean atmosphere. But my OG cookie was still shaped like a ball and did not flatten out. The taste was fine but a little undercooked. I really wanted to love this place and will try again. I am guessing this was a one time issue.
We visited Chip at 430pm on a Sunday afternoon. It was a very nice store. As it was our first time there we got a chance to review all the cookie choices along with the different kinds of toppings and drizzles. The cookie is very large. With the frosting and toppings one cookie was perfect to split 3 ways. Service was very friendly. The store was really nicely decorated. We would definitely swing through again. One cookie came to a little over $6 before tip. read more

Very friendly staff. Late yet very professional. Clean, bright store. Cookies were so yummy especially the chocolate chip one. I prefer Chips more than Crumbl, because it was not overly sweet. Will come again. read more
OK, yes this place is delicious. They do come with a hefty price tag but the cookies are large. I would say they're about 1 1/2 the size of a regular cookie. I got five cookies, four for later to share, and one for me to nibble on now. I tried the Oreo peanut butter cookie. Yummy! The cookie was crispy on the outside edge and moist in the center. The young lady that helped was friendly and patient with me. I would definitely come back here again. read more

Hi Jennifer!…
My son and I tried a chocolate chip cookie with salted caramel and cream on top, then sprinkled some toasted coconut and toffee. The cookie was so fresh and soft! The cream icing on top was too sweet for my liking. It came inside a very nice box, so the presentation is also excellent. read more
What can I say.. I'm addicted to the cookies here. After I tried Chip Cookies, Chip instantly became part of not only one my favorite cookie shops in the, but favorite dessert shops overall. The cookies themselves are not too sweet and pair well with the drizzle and topping. The sweetness comes more from the toppings. The homemade ice cream is as good as the cookies too. I highly recommend getting three scoops for the same price. The team here is incredible and they open late until midnight on weekends. I've been twice and it's not the last time. I'm from the South Bay, but I'm sure I will make more stops here if I'm in the area. read more
Was really surprised it wasn't busy on a Saturday evening! The interior was clean, the customer service was great and the dessert was even better. My friend and I shared a chipzookie (a mini pizookie basically) and ordered the biscoff cookie for our base (a total of $7-8). You're able to choose 1-3 scoops of ice cream (vanilla only, at no extra cost) and different types of drizzles and toppings. We only added a caramel drizzle to ours. The biscoff cookie was warm and had white chocolate chip; it melted/mixed well with the ice cream. Each bite was delicious and flavorful, I definitely preferred my bites with the middle of the cookie since it was super soft and warm. The outside of the cookie wasn't exactly my favorite because I prefer more chewy bites, but my friend preferred the outside of the cookie since it gave her a good crunch! My other friends got chipzookies and another bought a gourmet fan favorite cookie called the "tres leches". I didn't ask them to describe their cookies to me, but we were all very happy and impressed. I thought the pricing was very fair and cheaper than other places. My friends and I live 30-40 minutes away from this location and would definitely make the drive out here if we were really craving! read more
A++ for their Biscoff Cookie! YUMMY! I stopped in for a quick treat the other day, I had been meaning to check out Chip Cookies since they opened. A single cookie is $4.95 and I was surprised to find out you can actually customize it with toppings for a little extra charge. I got the Biscoff cookie which was served warm and has white chocolate chips and Biscoff cookie butter. It was absolutely delicious! The first bite I already knew I loved it! Highly recommend! When I was checking out I noticed a big jar that had day old cookies for $3, surprisingly they were still warm! The young man working there said they're kept in a warmer all day. I grabbed one of the OG cookies which is just chocolate chip, this one was just alright for me. It kind of tasted like it was missing something. I probably wouldn't get one of those again, but I'd definitely come back just for the Biscoff cookie! read more

First time visiting and very similar concept to crumbl with rotating menus but this place is 1000x better in every aspect. The cookies are delicious, fully cooked yet very big, and have so much flavor in them. This place also offers add-on toppings which my friend and I tried, but I honestly think this was an overkill for us, we loved the cookies as is and didn't think it needed anything more on top, but I can appreciate the concept of it! The person helping us was incredibly sweet & kind, service was great! I would definitely come back & am adding this spot to my list! read more

My favorite cookies ever! It's became a tradition to always get these on Friday night. My favorite is the Biscoff, tried Twix last night and it was ok. I also love the brownie one. I have been wanting to try the coconut one but sadly it's not available on DoorDash - going to have to make a trip to the shop. If you haven't tried Chip Cookies I highly recommend you do. If you're looking for a little sweet treat, Chip cookies will satisfy that craving. I was in the Orchards shopping area and needed to kill some time, when I stumbled across this place. I haven't been to this area in awhile and noticed this was a new place, so I wanted to check it out. Chip cookies are quite an indulgent treat as a fresh baked cookie is topped with toppings of your choosing. They have a good variety of toppings from whipped cream, m&ms, reese's pieces, toffee, and a few more. I like that they give you the option of creating your own or going with something off their menu. I opted for the BTS which came with whipped cream, toffee, and a few other toppings. The server, I didn't catch her name, was really helpful in letting us know the process of choosing and our options since I've never been there. This cookie itself was delicious. It's indulgent, but definitely didn't feel as big of a sugar bomb and a crumbl cookie. If I were by myself, I definitely couldn't eat this on my own in one sitting though, so it was good that me and my bf shared this one. I wish the place itself had seating inside as it was quite hot outside and I wanted somewhere to relax and eat this cookies. Other than that it was a nice clean store with delicious cookies. Would definitely come back! read more

The cookies had a good flavor however they were severely extremely underbaked to the point where I felt sick I think also adding condensed milk to an already underbaked cookie makes for a very unpleasing texture and just feels like you're eating raw cookie dough, but not in a good way. Their posted hours were also incorrect online and the phone number to call only rings. Being that it is relatively new, the shop has a cute and clean feel! Welcome to Walnut Creek, but I will not be back. read more
