Love this place! Both savory and sweet options are very tasty. Leek parmesan croissant and Napolean were our top favorites.

Came here after hearing great things about Marvel Cake. I didn't find it right away and had to pay for metered parking in the shopping center beside it. Very fancy patisserie, clean with nice interior. Offers various quality drinks, savories, and sweets. Love that they have spa water too. Ordered the Royal Hazelnut, Pistachio Mousse Tart and Pink Rose Latte. I almost ate their "paper" logo topping, it sure fooled me for chocolate! Kind of pricey for my budget, but it seems like I was paying more for a nice experience. Great place to indulge though! Will come back to try others.

Came here after lunch to get something sweet for dessert. Walked in and it was such a cute little spot. It was the Friday before Valentine's Day and they had so many cute cakes and desserts just for the holiday. There were a few people there having a Galentine's day and it was so cute. As for the desserts, there were so many to choose from. The lady who assisted us out was very helpful and offered us more insight on each dessert. But we opt out in getting a slice of the Napoleon and Serenity mouse dessert. To our surprise the desserts were really delicious, not too sweet or powerful in flavor. The serenity is more of a berry taste and was very refreshing. As for the Napoleon, it was light and not as dense as I thought it would be. I would come back again to try other flavors.

SUMMARY: Prices are a but steep but it's WC. I love that the employees are friendly and approachable. I will come again and try more of their pastries. FOOD: Ordered Napoleon and Mini Almond. The pastries here pretty to look at. Anyway back to the what I ordered. Napoleon is on the small size, perhaps it's more French (three layers) than Russian (at least 10 layers), which probably explains why it wasn't as moist as a traditional Napoleon. As for the mini almond, forget it, get something more interesting. It was rather flat, nothing exciting as I was trying hard to enjoy it. Also I found the sliver if almonds a tad burnt. But taste got better when I added cream from the Napoleon Coffee is good, but nothing outstanding, I mean basic right? Frothed milk stiffer on the latte but still sweet and not burnt. (I actually like stiff more.) SERVICE: Amazing! Menu dis nit have flat white, and the beautiful young lady created one for me. Thank you for going above and beyond. SPACE: Big enough to not accidentally hear your neighbors' conversation and they have tables outside that reminded me of a cafe in France. Casual but in a chic way-- think ballet flats rather than gym/sneakers shoes. PARKING: Street parking and there is also a parking space right of the cafe. Parking not free. READ! We got a ticket when we visited on 31Jan2025, thinking it's NYE and quiet.

What a beautiful bakery. Wanted to try everything since they all look like a masterpieces - a great add in WC. Next time would love to try their rose latte.

I have heard so many great things about Marvel Cake and finally got a chance to visit one night. I was mesmerized by the cakes under the glass cases. They look decadent and so tempting! We picked a chocolate cake to go and It felt like a dream eating it. It was a great cake; it was moist, rich and smooth. I wish it would not end. This reminds me of those French pastries I have had in France! Would definitely need to get my fix here for my sweet desire.

Great afternoon sweet treat with Baby Bear. Had the napoleon with a cup of tea. Delicious, flaky layers of puffed pastry, pillowy cream and crushed pistachios. The tea is delicious, with a hint of berry and vanilla. The butter croissant is was warm and flaky. Matcha- perfectly sweetened. Always a lovely time. Like transporting to a new place and time. Definitely Marvel-ous. Service was great, as usual

The layered pastry rectangle thing was really good.

Came by after an early dinner for some dessert. Wife and daughter ordered a few items. No idea wear they were called, but they were moist, tasty, and looked decadent.

Finally get to try this place the first time. We ordered the hazelnut, pistachio and Bisou(?) tarts. The little tarts are so pretty and they also taste delicious. We also got the Dubai chocolate croissant. I think the hazelnut is my favorite. It's a very rich smooth chocolate texture. The tarts are a little pricy which is about $11-12 each.

This Marvel Cake location might be the most spacious and least crowded amongst the rest of the location in the Bay Area. I was very surprised to walk in and there were no customers, though it was like an hour before closing. And what is even more surprising was that they had plenty of spiral croissants! These spiral croissants are one of my favorite baked goods ever! It combines the flakiness and buttery texture and flavor of a perfect croissant with mousse or custard-like fillings. They have plenty of other dessert options - all are very beautifully designed! The price is on the higher end but with the sophisticated and elegant look and taste of the desserts, it's definitely worth the price.

Cutesy patisserie! Menopause brain is preventing me from remembering the exact names of the cakes, but the lemon dessert was divine--my absolute favorite. The cakes were sweet without being overly so. A great spot to meet up with your besties!

Lovely place for beautiful sweets, savory treats, and tea. This is definitely one of those amazing places that you have to return to so you can try more items. We selected sweet treats and two types of tea. We sat and enjoyed each others company. I then had to take some items home like the spinach and cheese croissant - so yummy! A must try!

Had a sugar craving and so we stopped by! However parking was very difficult to find. Apparently there is free parking inside the building but if you're facing the shop it's on the right side, so don't make the mistake we made and go to the left and backing out! We ended up paying for parking nearby when we didn't need to, which was a bummer. But the pastries and coffee were delicious, and the interior is nice and fancy! Would come back again... just.. find parking better.

Service was very friendly. They do sell some company merch here. We ordered the jouraku matcha latte with oat milk. We also ordered several of their bakery items including a guava donut, buko pandan donut, mochi banana pudding, and black sesame mochi muffin. I think the donuts are the star here! They are soft and chewy, not too sweet. The flavors are pretty accurate as well for the donuts. The mochi banana pudding was unique, and enjoyable! They did recommend heating up for 1 minute, but you can probably get away with much less time than that. The black sesame mochi muffin was pretty average. The jouraku matcha latte was average; couldn't really taste much of the matcha notes, but it had more matcha flavor than some other cafes. Overall, this was a unique bakery and I would totally come back!

If you know, you know. The pastries here are absolutely worth the detour--and honestly, wherever I see a Paris Baguette, I do pull over. That includes locations I've visited in Northern California, North Brunswick, New Jersey, Atlanta, Georgia, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and even the one here in Charlotte down in Pineville. It's a bit of a drive for me, but when I'm in that area, I always make a point to stop in and pick up a couple of their delicious croissant-donut pastries and marzipan or almond croissants. That's the beauty of this bakery--it's a chain, yes, but the consistency is what keeps me coming back. I have yet to be disappointed. Of course, I had to stop at this Hilton Head location--and I didn't come empty-handed. Food connects people, and bringing pastries to your host is always a winning move. I picked up three different varieties of their famous croissant-donut style pastries (similar to the well-known cronut): * Chocolate * Tiramisu * Mango And I added two large almond croissants that were beautifully filled, flaky, and indulgent. Everything looked fresh, full, and irresistible. The setup inside is easy and efficient. It's self-serve: you grab a tray, line it with parchment, use the tongs, and select whatever catches your eye--from baguettes to cakes to coffee drinks. Checkout was quick, Apple Pay was accepted, and the whole experience felt smooth and well organized. The space was clean, friendly, and inviting, with plenty of outdoor seating. Bottom line: Whenever you see a Paris Baguette on your radar, pull over. It's dependable, delicious, and perfect for picking up pastries to share--or to treat yourself. For me, it's one of those rare places that delivers the same quality every single time, no matter the city--and that kind of consistency is something I truly appreciate as a traveler and lifelong foodie.

But, not until 2027! I had signed up for the store app. and decided to hit up their store here in Pleasant Hill, CA for a preview. There were some mixed observations for my 1st visit, which explains my 3 star rating (think a grade of C, C+ or possibly eeking out a B-, idk?). Parking's a snap behind the store in a large lot and free for up to 3 hrs. Upon my arrival to the street facing storefront, I encountered 3 of the 4 entrance doors locked from the outside. Gadzooks! How the heck do you get inside this security zone of a store, lol? Finally entered through the 1 unlocked door after naturally trying all the others first . Once inside, it would've been nice to have been greeted/welcomed by a host or floorperson for those of us unfamiliar with the store concept or the procedure of how you serve yourself. As you walk in, there's cafeteria-like trays, tongs and tray liners to your left. You grab this setup to begin your pastry and goodies selection. Pretty much self-serve from there until you queue up to pay. There's also a self-service ordering kiosk inside and you can order ahead on the Paris Baguette app. Speaking of the app, it pays to install it on your device as doing so entitles you to a free pastry with purchase upon your 1st visit. Anywhere from a $3.99-$5.99 value this is, so nothing to sneeze at. And they send you other freebies & deals through this medium also. Pricing for your basic pastries: Think Starbuck's prices + 15-20% or thereabouts. Not sure how the rewards system works here yet or how it might stack up to the aforementioned Starbuck's program or others? The pastries: Oh so good! Definitely no complaints here. If not for them being a bit on the pricier side, as alluded to already. Warm, flaky & fresh out of the oven. Parisian style. Definite niche appeal outside of your random donut shop or Starbucks' offerings. I did not try any of their different beverage options like coffees, teas, lattes or frappes this visit. No doubt this chain will succeed, as is evidenced by their rapid store growth, "newness" of the brand/concept and customer popularity. My pastry choices were the Pain Au Chocolat and the Pain Aux Raisins. One being the free one with the promotion. 10 out of 10. They also do whole bread loaves, cakes and other confectionaries + special orders. Pretty much a full service bakery, Paris style. And if you're sugar and/or calorie cautious, this bakery will no doubt appear like a mine field, lol. Everything in moderation I guess as the saying goes? It's a winner overall. Subtractions for the Fort Knox-like entrance issues and a lack of customer intro-greeting. It looked very popular inside for an early Saturday morning.
