She's been a personal chef for as long as I can remember, so she has extensive interpersonal skills working one-on-one with her clients. Let's face it...it's the Bay Area. Everyone wants to eat healthier, but who has that kind of free time unless you want to eat at 9 PM at night? Victoria brings a lot to the table because of her professional training paired with her education in healthy eating and diet-friendly foods. Also, she is a diverse culinary experience in terms of cultural cuisines, which translates to fun and creative meals. She has a great skill set in which to provide to clients all around that want to eat healthier, but just don't have the time.

This is a two star review. I came here at the recommendation of a co-worker and want to like it…read moremore than I did. I think the problem is that I couldn't get past the lack of a restroom in the area. They had some portables, but they are making food and we are supposed to eat it. Where are they washing their hands? This area is also pretty cold so if you go, make sure that you have a coat, scarf and hat. I'll never make that mistake again. But because of the cold, I didn't want to eat outside so our food got a cold, but it was good. My husband liked the food he got, but gluten free options are super limited. They get a third star because of the bar! Now there was only one person working there and that's fine because he could go get a snack or something and come back to pour drinks, but again. The restroom issue. Where does he wash his hands, what if he has a cold and sneezes into them, and so on. That's where my mind went. The vendors are quite nice and were helpful and weren't mean when they answered my GF questions and I appreciate that. So, this is like the little engine that could. I can see that it is a gathering spot for people and they have music and speakers which is cool. So I saw and felt a community vibe and people really seemed to like going. If I lived in the area, I may try it a bit more, but in all honestly, Oakland Museum's Off the Grid event is everything I wish this was. I'm sure that they will get there, but don't want to hang out while they figure it out.

I'm not sure if the selection changes as I only went once, but the selection was smaller than I…read moreexpected and there wasn't that many people there.

(I stopped…read moreordering from them because my allergies were activated, and I needed to do an elimination diet. When I came back to them a couple years later, the price point had gone up & I was priced out.) The portion sizes were large. I think it was like $12-13/meal. 99% of the dishes were delicious. I was REALLY pleasantly surprised at the flavor & taste. I expected gentrified dishes. It was good! I was also specifically looking for meal delivery that generated less waste. Planter table delivered that. I got cool enough with my driver (and tipped well!) that he brought me a little thank you plant. I loved that I had the same driver each time. It was just a really pleasant experience overall. Nothing bad to say.

I am not vegan but this hits the spot and is the best meal service I have found. The food is still amazing and I'm happy to see the meal options have expanded, there's seasonal produce options and Acme bread, and now they post calorie information. They have family style option to get a bigger portion for those who have a family, or for me, to bring to a pot luck. They also have individual desserts and full size pies/cakes. Seriously - they have everything. They no longer offer wine for those who care. There are some additional pick up options, too, but I stick with Jack London Square on Wednesdays from 11:30-2:00. Pro tip: get the cookie dough!!!!! And the chili. And the breakfast burritos. And the bake at home pizza ........ $20 credit Referral code: QWC3D2MJ
