They also have flavors of the season (not sure how often it is switched). They recommend Ube and matcha together, so that is what I did. I purchased the Taiyaki cone (fish cone) filled with red bean paste, on top of Matcha and Ube soft serve. It was Delicious! It is such a good combo, both flavors are good by themselves but together with the cone and red bean paste was delectable. You can get the ice cream inside the cone but since I was driving and taking it to go- I wanted to avoid accidents. I should mention that staff was patient, kind were accommodating when I didn't order correctly. I forgot to ask for the ice cream in a cup with the cone on top when ordering. Everything felt thoughtfully done and full of charm. The atmosphere is warm, family-friendly, and just one of those places that instantly puts you in a good mood. When you walk in, it feels like you are at an old fashioned soda fountain shoppe. The smell of cookies and pies attacks you, so be ready for the deliciousness. Everything is made right there in the shoppe, so you know it's fresh. They also serve great ice cream, local coffee and awesome sandwiches. I can't say enough good things about them. The ube flavor definitely came through--at first, I mostly tasted white chocolate, but toward the end, the subtle ube notes emerged nicely. The cream filling was smooth and enjoyable. However, the cream puff shell itself was a bit stale and dry. We did pick them up around 6 PM, but I still think the store should find a way to keep their products fresh throughout the day. Overall, the cream puff was tasty, but I probably wouldn't buy it later in the day again. We also tried the dulce de leche cream puff, which turned out to be just a regular cream puff topped with a sticky caramel glaze - nothing particularly memorable there. Outside has a a few tables/chairs for you to sit and enjoy your ice cream. Service was great! We were able to taste test a lot of flavors before choosing which to get. We ended up choosing the Vietnamese coffee (limited time), cold brew coffee, fresh strawberry, and banana nut. The ice cream was delicious !! We love it sooo much! The flavors are incredibly strong .
