Came here to pick up a half dozen donuts. The service is super fast, I was in and out in a couple of minutes. There's lot of parking in the shopping center. Inside there were a couple of tables with people enjoying their coffee and donuts. It was my first time here but seems like a solid, popular spot. I got an old fashioned maple for myself and it was yummy! read more

I bought two dozen donuts yesterday to bring to work for my coworkers. Mixed variety. The worker was pleasant and welcoming. It was quiet inside and a little outdated looking. But sometimes that means it's a good hole in the wall. I was sad they were out of doughnut holes though by the time I got there at like 10:30ish. My coworkers loved them. They said it was nice a fluffy and tasty! I'll probably come back again another day. read more

I always get myself some Allstar Donuts when I'm in town! The Bay Area has great donuts and I love treating myself when I'm here. The price is right and the staff are friendly. I really love the glazed twist donut. My only small thing to note is that the selection can be limited compared to other shops in the area, even if you go on the earlier side. Maybe it's just because I tend to go on weekdays vs the weekend. Nevertheless, I always find something yummy! read more

I really want to love this donut shop because the donuts are good quality and consistently delicious. Unfortunately, the pricing is not consistent. I order the same items each time, yet my total is frequently different. Based on the prices posted on the wall, I have been overcharged on multiple visits. During my most recent visit, I was charged an extra $1.50. It is the owners that work the day in and day out operations that are not following the posted prices and charging customers incorrectly. Small discrepancies add up and can have damaged this customer's trust. Not a good look AllStar. read more

I bought one dozen doughnuts and paid $25. I was very disappointed when I got home and opened the box of doughnuts. Please see the pics. Why couldn't the lady just use a long box to fit the dozen? Instead she used 2 small boxes and ruined my doughnuts. Presentation of the doughnuts for a small crowd was not good and less appealing. read more

I am very disappointed and dissatisfied with this place. I was there Thursday 8/13/26 at 7am hoping to get GOOD FRESH donuts. First time there and my last. The man assisting me was friendly & the donuts you see are not the donuts they give you. They take from the back and clearly are left over maybe from day before, hopefully not older. Every donut I requested is not available and only available Fri/Sat/Sun per the clerk. I had to pick the very limited options but what is not acceptable is I requested 2 Old Fashioned GLAZED and when I arrived to my destination, he gave me 2 very shriveled plain old fashioned, not what I requested. Also, the chocolate cake donut w/sprinkles was also shriveled so no donut for my grandchild. I paid $31+ for shriveled donuts that were thrown away and we ate only 2 glazed as those were fresh and 2 choc that were not that fresh but better than all the others. What made it worse is he kept telling me I was getting the best donuts, better than where I live and that was not true. read more

Best in Walnut Creek! The service is great and the donuts are beyond delicious. Very addicting!!! I go for 1 and leave with 12.

Really enjoyed the donuts here. They were surprisingly light and airy, with a soft texture that wasn't too dense or heavy. I also appreciated that they weren't overly oily, which can sometimes be an issue with fried dough. Everything tasted fresh, and the overall quality was clear. Classic donuts that are so tasty- just wish they would make more so they didn't sell out so fast!!

Best donuts in town. They always sell out early. would definitely recommend. not good if you're dieting lol.

Stopped by an early morning, the donuts were amazing!! The owner was super friendly and funny -- made my morning, thank you! :)

I saw this Doughnut Shop a few times, and wanted to check-it-out one of these days. Today is the day. Today is National Doughnut Day. And there's no better way to celebrate it, than with a box of Doughnuts at Allstar Donuts in Concord/Contra Costa. The Doughnuts were so fresh, delectable, scrumptious, and exceptional. And it's also very good to know, this is a Cambodian owned Doughnut Shop. I really like the atmosphere here. This is similar to the traditional Doughnut I grew up with. This could be a 4.4 stars on a good day, but I give this 4.3 stars. It's a standard, and Classic Doughnut. read more

The donuts are very fresh! Light fluffy raised doughnuts are my favorite and they do it well here. Small line formed for a Saturday morning. For high level of freshness they keep it simple with the popular types of raised, old fashion, and sprinkles. And just hot coffee nothing else. (No iced coffee.) No more croissant breakfast sandwiches. They're low on staff so I could see how this helps streamline what they sell. I would most definitely come back for some donut holes or a raised when I'm nearby. read more

Come for the apple fritters, stay for the free s3xual har@ssment I honestly love this place. Been going here for over 8 years. The donuts are good and owners are super nice. Today was a really bad weird day. One of their employees is bringing their business down. I saw this employee wipe their face and then grab donuts with their bare hands. That's a definite health code violation. The thing that topped it off was they said a very s3xually explicit thing to my 7 year old son thinking it was joke. I didn't want to cause a scene, but the dining room cleared out. I later tried to talk to the owners about the situation 1-on-1, but they claimed a lack of English and being too busy. It's unfortunate, but I cannot go back and expose my child to this sort of inappropriate behavior. read more

Allstar has been my family's go-to spot for donuts for as long as I can remember. A Sunday morning ritual on special occasions (or whenever the craving hit), picking up a box of Allstar donuts always hit the spot. My personal favorites are the chocolate old fashioned donuts, which have perfectly crispy "wings" and a dense texture that yields a more decadent treat. The cinnamon sugar donuts are also pleasantly fluffy and pair excellently with coffee. On our most recent visit (after 9 AM on a Sunday) the choices were limited, and there was a short line that spilled out the door. The line moved quickly, though, and there were plenty of the glazed donuts left. Takeaways: 1) get there early for the best selection and 2) you can't go wrong - all the options are delicious! read more

Expensive!!! Obviously this is a first choice when it comes to donuts. But holy moly this is my second time coming here and I regret it the same as the first due to prices. $2.25 for each donut holy inflation! bought for donuts and it was $9.75. Going to Safeway or other neighboring donuts shop next time to try and save some money for some regularity baked donuts. Four stars because it's a locally owned almond pop shop, and they are very friendly, it is delicious, but is it worth the price, no! Not in my opinion anyway. I feel like for that price. I could get a good mochi donut canceled, and I might argue that Safeway donuts are just as good. read more

Allstar Donuts - My kiddo eating a sprinkled donut - Donuts Near Me - Walnut Creek, California

They make donuts the way I remember them being made when I was a child, in the 1970s. I don't like Crispy Cream or Dunkin' donuts. They are way too sweet. Allstar doesn't frost every exposed surface of the donut, unless you're buying a Glazed donut. A Chocolate Raised only has chocolate frosting on it. There isn't clear frosting all over it, underneath the chocolate frosting. read more

Great, clean, quick, they have a lot of flavors to choose from. Go here a lot, always friendly service.

The best donuts I've found so far in Walnut Creek. They usually have a line (and I've visited on different days of the week) but they have warriors decorations so that's always fun to look at until you see all the yummy donuts! They are closed on Mondays. Others may complain about them being closed randomly, but they are a small business selling donuts.. when they sell out, they close up shop. Makes sense! read more

Great little donut shop. Make sure to get there early, visited today at 10:55am and they only had one cinnamon roll and 2 trays of raised glazed and old fashioned left! I'm new to the Walnut Creek area and I found Allstar Donuts through Yelp. The first time I came here I got a blueberry donut and a chocolate custard-filled one. Both donuts were pretty good. I was bummed because the next time I came back the shop had closed early with a note on their door that they sold out :( I had to drive out to Dunkin' in Clayton instead. I wish they would make more to keep up with demand. read more

We've been coming here since the late 90s. They have been consistent with their donuts. They have the best donuts IMO. The dough itself has some nice flavor, not too sweet, fluffy, light, & moist. They use quality ingredients. They know what they are doing. They always run out! read more

I cannot find a better donut shop than All Star Donuts in the Countrywood Shopping Center on Treat & Bancroft in Walnut Creek. If you come to his shop and it is closed because he sold out it is because there is a line that begins forming out the door when he opens. He makes these donuts fresh during the night and when they are gone, they are gone. This isn't a mass produced corporate company. He is a local business owner. Quality matters to him when it comes to donuts. These donuts are fresh, fresh, fresh. The dough is perfection (not too sweet). The glaze not too sweet. You can always tell the quality of a place by ordering basic (bolognese meat sauce at Italian, vanilla ice cream at an ice cream shop, etc). All Star Donuts' amaaaazing simple glazed donut is perfection. It literally puffs into your mouth light as air and melts like warm mothers milk. Omg, you cannot have one. And if you have two you have to stop yourself from having a 3rd. The owner uses his loving care making the perfect glazed donut with a not too much of a sweet glaze over the top. His 'glaze' is top notch. It is not easy. It is an art. I am a foodie. No one compares to the art and care this man puts into his donuts. The rest are very good as well but omygoodness who wants chocolate in the morning?!! I digress. I love his cream fillings, his raspberry fillings. His old fashioned donuts have a perfect crisp to them with not too much oil making that "crisp" as donut sits longer cooking. Yet, inside his Old Fashioned it is fluffy. I could go on and on. After enjoying All Star Donuts you cannot even tolerate Dunkin Donuts or Krispy Kreme (premade dough transported to the sites, often frozen). It's like flying first class then having to go back to coach. To be honest, after consuming this local business owner's care and concern to make a top quality donut (& making a glazed donut takes the most effort btw to truly do it right like he does) you will be ruined. You will go back to a Dunkin Donut/Krispy Kreme and take that first bite, turn up your nose, pull that donut back a bit to inspect with a perplexed scowl vowing to yourself, "How could I have ever thought these were good?" Well, because you didn't know. Now you do. read more

Moved to concord from sf a few months ago, and shopped around to find my next go-to donut place. There are so many great options here. Some of our favs: blueberry donut (fresh blueberry), glazed yeast (light and airy just like krispy kreme...I don't even usually go for glazed yeast but it's so good), jelly (freshly made raspberry jam usually, so good), old fashioneds of all kinds (pretty good...wish they were maybe a little tangier, but otherwise, the best OF we've find in the area so far). There can be a little line in the weekends, but it moves quickly. The owner said the Sunday line doesn't usually get started until a later than it does Saturday. read more
