Donuts are one of my favorite things to eat because it's impossible to just eat one. Especially when you buy a dozen. I literally ate two on the car ride home (thanks to my fiance who drove us there) HAHA. FIVE STARS for AllStar Donuts! First time coming here with my fiance and we had a great experience. They follow COVID19 guidelines by marking the floor to ensure that everyone is standing 6ft apart. Donuts were delicious. We bought a dozen of donuts, 3 chocolate, 3 maple, 3 sugar, and 3 glaze - YUMMY! The donuts were soft and the glaze was not too sweet, just the perfect amount that leaves you wanting more. We also bought coffee and it was made fresh - we only had to wait 2 minutes. Perfect pairing for a donut or milk. Overall, really enjoyed the donuts and coffee we bought at AllStar Donuts. We will definitely come back for our next donut craving. read more

All Star donuts is my new go to donut shop been here a few times now and I seriously have some really amazing fresh donuts I am a chocolate and glaze type of donut guy and they have some really delicious tasty fluffy donuts. Wow, a line outside this donut shop at around 11 am on a Saturday. I didn't expect that. So, obviously I made a good life decision to visit this place as it looked pretty popular among the locals. They only allowed 2 parties to be inside the shop at once (big yay to the social distancing guidelines!), and the Chinese lady/shop-owner helping us was very friendly and nice. After minutes of deciding between an apple fritter and a glazed donut, I decided to go with a classic donut with chocolate glaze. And man oh man, was the donut heavenly. The donut was fresh, the bread was soft and fluffy - it was so good! The glaze to me was just perfect, it wasn't too thin or too thick and it wasn't too sweet. Since it was still early, a donut run came to mind. We drove a little further out and decided on Allstar Donuts in the Countrywood Shopping Center near CVS. Allstar is open for takeout only between 5:30 am and 1 pm. My husband doesn't like to stray from his favorite spots but I insisted we come here this time for our donut craving. The owner was very friendly and greeted us with a smile. The donuts are light and fluffy. They are on the sweeter side than we're used to but they are still yummy. Because Allstar is located in Walnut Creek, their prices are also higher. I spent around $26 for the donuts I purchased. read more

I'm new to the Walnut Creek area and I found Allstar Donuts through Yelp. The first time I came here I got a blueberry donut and a chocolate custard-filled one. Both donuts were pretty good. I was bummed because the next time I came back the shop had closed early with a note on their door that they sold out :( I had to drive out to Dunkin' in Clayton instead. i'm not sure if this was the owner working behind the counter but my friend and i went and he consistently commented on her breasts. she has a tattoo that says "loved" on her chest which she got from her mom and he commented on it saying that her mom "loved" her boobs. strike one, absolutely inappropriate. THEN, when we got our donuts he'd said that we wouldn't be needing milk with them (hinting at her breasts). he made my friend extremely uncomfortable and we are never coming here ever again. read more

AllStar Donuts is the best donut place I've been to in Walnut Creek! I've been here a few times since moving to the area, but it's my first time being there since the pandemic began. I appreciate that there are spots on the ground outside and inside to show where to stand to keep a safe distance as it can get pretty busy. I was there this morning and there were about 5 people ahead of me, but the line moved by quickly. I was out of there in less than 8 minutes! The donuts taste delicious and great quality. Happy national donut day y'all! Came in to get some donuts for my office for national donut day. I could have easily went to Dunkin since it's closer but wanted some good old fashioned donuts. Literally. Came at 7:58 am. Line was out the door, that's a good sign or hence it being the day n all. However reviews say the line is always out the door. The case didn't have a huge selection like I've seen but I'm guessing they were selling out quick but we're also replenishing standard glazed and jelly filled. Bought a dozen and called it a day. 4 stars for friendly, efficient service and warm fresh glazed. read more

It had the perfect amount of glaze and that glaze crust that breaks up when you bite into it! The size of the donut is perfect, not too small or too big. I will defiantly keep buying donuts here. Stopped by here on a Saturday morning to grab some donuts for a day trip & was very pleased! Donuts were absolutely delicious. I forgot how good donuts are and I'll need to come back here again. We got donut holes, maple bar, and apple fritter. They were delicious and exactly what you'd want to fulfill your donut craving. No complaints! They are taking COVID restrictions extremely well. Different doors for entering/exiting, tape to organize and distance, all that. The employees are doing great also. We asked for a knife and they took all the precautions with using napkins and such to give it to us. I felt so comfortable coming here - especially since I haven't felt comfortable at all the places in this same complex... I am a cop and I love donuts. I LOVE DONUTS!! There, I said it. Before you start laughing, there is a story behind cops and donuts. Back in the early 20th century, many European immigrants landed in the Greater New York area and a few of them started selling fried dough as a snack. Cops back then had to walk their beats. During those blistering cold winter nights, coffee shops that served donuts were the only options for cops to get something to eat and stay out of the cold during those ungodly graveyard hours. So you see, the legend of cops and donuts was actually born out of necessity. Ladies and gentlemen, next time you see a cop, REFRAIN from bringing up the cops and donuts joke! Instead, tell him or her how much YOU like donuts. That may just be the key of getting out of a traffic citation...:-P Now back to the review...whenever we have training or details, I always pick up donuts and coffee for my officers and Allstar Donuts is my go-to spot. They are a good old-fashioned donut shop so you will not see any specialty donuts here. Their classic donuts are always fresh and delicious. They run about 90 cents a piece. It's a little bit more expensive than some other places but the freshness more than makes up for it. The owners are super friendly and they really take care of their customers. Again, I LOVE DONUTS! I love this donut shop! I've been limiting my visits to no more than once a week (I swear donuts are evil), which is hard to do considering their donuts are always light and fresh. No heavy oily residue here! My stomach is very sensitive to greasy foods and I never have any issues with these. My favorites are the chocolate raised (especially fresh out the fryer) and the glazed old fashioned. The twists and buttermilk are also yummy. I can't take the apple fritter much cuz of said stomach problems but they're good in small portions. What's cool is the owner is a huge Warriors fan, so when they won the title last year (crossing my fingers for this year) he decorated the donuts with blue and yellow sprinkles. It's just a fun, family run place. At times they can run out of the good donuts on Fridays if there are a lot of dozen orders, so go early! read more
