I was in the Swarthmore area last Sunday night and decided to stop off at Dunkin Donuts to get a quick snack. I came in and was shocked by how crowded and how long the line was at Dunkin Donuts at 6:00 PM on a Sunday night. However, I soon realized the crowd was due to the fact that the Dunkin Donuts only had one staff member. I waited in line for around 15 minutes before finally being helped. I went ahead and ordered a medium, frozen hot chocolate and a chocolate donut. The frozen hot chocolate was made very quickly, but ended up still tasting good. The staff member was also nice and threw in a couple of free Munchkins. I had the donut inside of the restaurant and even though it was fairly late in the day, it still tasted nice as fresh. The seating options here are also very good with some counter seating, which faces a window as well as some other tables and seats. Altogether, while I think this Dunkin Donuts could do a better job of dealing with crowds they have nice staff, adequate seating and tasty food. read more

The food and donuts are better than most places, but the people are so nice there! Especially the manager he is always nice to me and it looks like he tries to make an effort with every order! The inside is nice and in the winter it feels very good, sometimes I go there and they give me free waters because I just want to sit in the decorative interior. The place is usually clean and its not gourmet but it is the best place to go in the area. The service is really fast and they satisfy my every need. The milkshakes are probably the highlight for my prying eyes and excited mouth. Consider stopping by! read more

Two stars for the service, which is confusing (mumbled initial conversation followed by semi-intelligible shouts) and confounded in part by the awkward layout on the inside. But OTOH, it's a lot nicer to be able to get a cup of coffee here than it was to hunt down overpriced pharmaceuticals, as was the case when this was Michael's drug store. This location seems to have permanently put to rest any café in the train station itself (there were at least two attempts) but expanded hours and better reliability count for something. This DD is family owned and operated. They know all their customers and they even know your regular orders. frequently, they will throw in an extra donut or two or an extra bagel or two. i dont eat bread due to gluten intolerance but i love getting stuff here for meetings and kids and professionals offices. nothing says "hi" like food. come by on saturdays, the bagels are fresh then. they will make anything you want for there, or to go, just ask. read more

I ordered a milkshake here some time ago and it was, to say the least, disappointing. So today, I decided to give them a chance at redemption. It was like my first experience all over again. Doesn't carry any somosas or curries, so I'm depressed every time I walk by it. Should be an Indian Restaurant, but seems to be a standard Dunkin' Donuts. Free wireless, though, which is good. Came in to buy a cup of coffee.My DD app got updated so it kicked me out.I logged in thru my phone not using the app and reloaded.I thought I'm good to go and ordered my coffee and now to pay I can't find a bar code for the cashier to scan.I showed her my DD card with the number with the pin.She said she doesn't know how and ask her bout the app and don't know either.So, walk out with no coffee to go to work tonight. Was cheated. Paid for dozen donuts and 2 fritters. When I got home, found they shorted me one fritter. Wasn't worth driving back but pissed since she even looked at screen before handing me the bag. Would not recommend. read more

Got a milkshake and it was super thin when I asked the worker to make it thicker she got an attitude and added barley a half of scoop of ice cream to it and the consistency was still the same felt like I was drinking strait milk instead of a milkshake however the place was very clean including the bathroom hopefully next time there is someone there who knows how to properly make a shake read more

When you walk into Dunkin Donuts you smell the batches of donuts. The people at the counter are very nice and generous. I would recommend having a jelly donut. I find the service here very good. Décor My favorite place to sit is at the high tables. When you walk in to your left is the trashcans, high tables, and the bathrooms. I ordered my food and the lady first complained that I was speaking too fast and she had me repeat my order 5 times. I've never been told I speak too fast so this was strange to me. Then the 2 ladies kept asking me if I was SURE I wanted a bagel. I ordered a bagel so of course I want a bagel. Then 1 of the ladies said she didn't know how to make the vanilla chai iced. I told her to make it hot like normal and then put it in a cup with ice. Luckily, she got that right. When I got my food, it was burnt around the edges and the hash browns were hard and stuck together. I've eaten at other Dunkin Donuts before and it was never that bad. I don't know if I'll be back to this one. At least I got what I ordered and there was nothing too terribly wrong about it. read more

I've resisted writing this review for a while, because I like to support local businesses and the people who work here are very friendly and nice. However, the quality of the baked goods sucks. Because I'm lazy, I've eaten here (breakfast bagel and iced tea at least once a week) on my way to work many times and with high frequency receive a stale bagel. I'm pretty sure they don't bake them on premises, so it may not be surprising, but it's always disappointing! After noon, the chances of getting a stale donut are high too. Stupidly, I don't usually discover this until I'm in the car a mile away and don't feel like turning around. On the few occasions when I have made the discovery earlier, the staff have always refunded my money or replaced the poor bagel or donut with a fresher one. No matter: it's happened so regularly that this morning as I attempted to masticate a particularly reluctant bagel sandwich, I promised myself I'd write this review and never get anything to eat from this DD again. Until next week, when I'm rushing to work and there's no other convenient place to get a quick unhealthy meal. read more

I have had stale food every time I have eaten here over the past 2 years. It is always extremely disappointing and I vow to never go there again, but then the train is late and I need to grab a quick breakfast on the way to work, to only be disgusted again. On several occasions I have actually gotten muffins so hard they would have shattered a window, if thrown. I have returned several items and they have admitted to me that the muffins are several days old. I thought that Dunkin Donuts made the franchises make fresh products everyday? Alas, today the train was late due to the snow and I was hopeful, so ordered a bagel sandwich, only to discover that the bagel was so hard I literally could not bite through it. This was the worst experience I have ever had in a Dunkin Donuts to date. On the contrary to what others have said, the staff was not friendly to me. Much like other reviewers, my food was quite stale. When I attempted to return it the staff countered back stating that they had given me exactly what I ordered. I was returning the food because it tasted bad not because it wasn't what I ordered. I couldn't believe they expected me to engage in an argument just so I could return the rock solid bagel I only took half a bite out of. Was there this morning. Will never go back. Asked for a Manager's Special. She took the donut, used a tissue to pick up and put the donut in the bag minus the tissue. When I got to work, the donut was in the bag and the chocolate was all stuck to the inside bottom of the bag. There is not enough cream in the donut. This Dunkin' Donuts has the friendliest staff of any DD that I've ever been to! As a student at a local college, I am often in need of coffee.
