Crave Creamery is a cute Asian-owned ice cream shop that also serves up mochi donuts. We stopped by after having dinner, and this small place seemed to have recently opened up. Their flavors of ice cream seem to rotate through - I ended up getting a Toasted Maple Butter Pecan, and it was creamy and tasty. Don't be shy in asking for samples! The staff are friendly, and the place has only a handful of tables. I love their decor - the cute cows with their tongues and the figurines. We went here in a Saturday night for the first time. I love supporting local creameries and it's really nice to find one open in the winter. This is located in a little strip mall among a few other restaurants. We walked inside and noticed a long line but didn't think anything of it. We ended up waiting over 35 minutes in line! I've never seen an ice cream store so slow. It was painful. 2 staff members are certainly not enough for the volume this place experiences. Making a sundae takes a lot of time and one person in front of us ordered 5 to go! We were getting really agitated. I don't like wasting time. The ice cream is really good and thankfully so since we had to wait so long for it. People in front of us wouldn't move along as the line kept going which made it hard to see all the ice cream flavors since they aren't posted on the wall. They also have gelato, milkshakes, bubble tea and even donuts. I thought the charge for different types of cones was expensive and overpriced. In the end I opted for the chocolate peanut butter and a scoop of the sweet cream with caramel and pretzels. The pretzels tasted stale and this flavor was a bit too sweet. The chocolate peanut butter was delicious. My friend had the cherry and was really good. Nice ice cream flavors but definitely don't want to wait that long for ice cream again. read more

Me and my family were in search for a dessert place after eating dinner in the area. Im glad we did, as this place was amazing. The owner was extremely friendly and welcoming. He gave us an extra half scoop or more and let us try multiple different flavors. The taste of the Ice Cream was great. You could tell it was homemade. He seemed like he really enjoyed making sure our meal was delicious. Will for sure be returning. read more

I have never seen this spot before even though it's so close by because I don't come this way. But when I saw homemade ice cream, I knew I had to stop by. My friend and I both got two scoops (cow) of ice cream, though they also have gelato and sorbet. He got chocolate and I got white raspberry + lemon. The ice cream was absolutely delicious. The employee working the front was super kind and chatty. She clearly explained what was available and welcome me to test flavors (including the two I got plus the "heaven" flavor). It was also quite a lot of ice cream for a reasonable price. The place was pretty empty in the evening on the week day, but had some nice decorations. I'm going to consider this a hidden gem for now on. I must have missed it because I tend to look for ice cream as a late night treat, and the place closes at 9 pm. read more

Crave creamery is my favorite ice cream shop in the Philly area! It has a wide selection of flavors and carries both gelato and ice cream. I've never had the gelato before because the ice cream is so good and I can never pass it up, but I'm sure the gelato would be delicious as well. They have great flavors and the ice cream is super creamy. They also have an assortment of fun cones. I got one with m&ms and it was okay. I would recommend going for the ice cream and trying one of their fun cones if you're interested, but pass on them otherwise. read more

Place offers ice cream, bubble tea, and gelato! We ordered different ice creams and gelato and although it was good, it wasn't great. There was one worker who seemed tired and disengaged. The family before us ordered a bubble tea which took him 20-30 min to prepare. So although it was a cold late weekday afternoon, we waited more than 30 min for our ice cream. read more

Wow... NO ONE reviewed this place? i guess it must be newer than I thought. Stopped in today after buying tacos at the new Mexican spot in the shopping center. My original plan was to go to Coldstone, but I simply CANNOT resist homemade ice cream, so I had to give them a try. This ice cream is fantastic. I had the pleasure of trying the blueberry pie and party cake ice cream. Wow... this is good stuff. I also had the opportunity to try some peach and chocolate gelato. OMG.... it's heavenly. Best of all, it's much cheaper than Coldstone. Also, I like that they call one scoop of ice cream a "calf", and two scoops a "cow" size. Very cute. I hope Crave Creamery gets the business it deserves. It's tucked away in the shopping center where Outback is (right now the name escapes me). This place deserves to do well. read more

Such a cute little ice cream shop!! If you are looking for a place with a generous selection of ice cream which isn't ridiculously sweet, then Crave Creamery will push all the right buttons. I had to try the spumonti gelato, because I was absolutely intrigued by its gorgeous, vibrant swirls that represented a decedent marriage of chocolate, raspberry and pistachio flavors. Sinfully delicious! My only regret is not having this place closer to me. Probably best as my waistline would not approve. read more

I wish I could give this place 100 stars. The ice cream is the best around. Homemade ice cream is so much better than the stuff they call ice cream at DQ and coldstone. We got a custom ice cream cake made and it was amazing. The strawberry ice cream will knock your socks off! They rotate flavors always bringing in new stuff too! read more

This place is great. The inside has a cute theme of cows. The employee who helped me gladly allowed me to try several ice cream and gelato flavors and waited patiently for me to decide what flavor out of the wide variety they have. I guess I could say we moved to the area just because Crave opened up here. Or should I say mooooooved to the area. As one of the other reviewers said, the inside is cow themed. Thus the cow jokes. But the ice cream is no joke, particularly the peanut butter, the caramel sea salt, the blueberry pie, and the party cake - all of which we enjoyed our first time here. Parking is plentiful, people are nice, gelato and ice cream and water ice. And pretzel cones! If you buy it if you bulk, they give it to you in a glass jar. Bring it back for a refill? They knock several dollars off. They except credit cards if your bill is over $10. This place is so good that we will be here often. Although the family made a pact: we have to bike here if we get it more than once a month. read more

In doing this thought, nothing really shines here. It is all very good, but nothing it really unique. And that is good thing especially when you are looking for a place to enjoy breakfast that's a down-home style meal and you don't want to have to cook. I will definitely be back again for another homestyle breakfast in the future, and the prices are more than reasonable.
