So there aren't many froyo places left, but I have never been to Yocrave until now. I must admit I was a little apprehensive reviewing the reviews, I must say the business exceeded my expectations . The aesthetics was very clean, bright and and fresh! There was a small section for children to enjoy and have fun, along with a blackboard chalk friendly space. There were color stool and chairs, all of which were new and clean. They had pretty solid yogurt options and the machines were up and running. The toppings were in an abundance from gummies, to chocolate, to whipped topping or peanut butter toppings The staff were friendly and accommodating. To me it's just "OK" I didn't find any of the yogurts I tasted amazing. I did love the concept of the store Tons of topping to choose from. It's a self serve place and you pay by the ounce. There are two sizes. The "small" is huge and the "large" is even bigger. I filled up about 1/4 of the small and my son did about 1/3 of the small and it was $8 total. Felt a little pricy to me. So I'm comparing everything about YoCrave to Yogurtland. That's just the way it is. Price... Last time I checked, Yogurtland was 43 cents an ounce. YoCrave is 32 cents per ounce by day, 42 cents at night. Advantage YoCrave. Layout... YoCrave is bigger. YoCrave has more seats. YoCrave is not nearly as cramped. YoCrave also has a huge tv to watch. YoCrave feels more kid friendly too with special kids seating. Advantage YoCrave. Availability of flavors... There are 14 options available, two of which are sorbet. I forgot to count last time I was at Yogurtland, but my previous Yogurtland review mentioned 16 flavors available. But I didn't feel like they had all 16 available at once. I'll call it even. Creativity of flavors... The flavors feel more basic here. But flavors like caramel corn, birthday cake, red velvet, root beer and pistachio can be had here. Yogurtland tends to be more exotic if you like that. Advantage Yogurtland. Taste of yogurt... I sampled birthday cake, caramel corn, chocolate and pistachio. I liked three of them. I like the convenience of Yogurtland but this will do. Even. Other items... You can only get yogurt at Yogurtland. Here you can get yogurt cakes, yogurt pops, frozen coffee. Advantage YoCrave. Ingredients... Yogurtland tells you everything that's in their yogurt above the machine. YoCrave does not. Makes me wonder if they are hiding something. Advantage Yogurtland. They have a lot of toppings and the ice cream variety is ok. I really want to like this place because there are no other places nearby, but it's just awful. Half of the flavors are out of order. I always seem to stop here on Wednesdays which is "no weight Wednesdays." I know this may be hard to understand for them but I just want a small amount for one individual. Just left the store and the girls here should not be left alone to work. They were very young and the one girl was cursing more then once and they were very loud and obnoxious. Attempting to lean the bathroom together and then yelling about something in there, something smelled behind the counter and they were yelling about that. Cleaning windows together and being loud. The one girl running from bathroom to behind the counter and back. My 7 year old is better behaved then this. Came here tonight for frozen yogurt. It smelled like a gas station inside for some reason. The selection was mediocre. We paid $30 for frozen yogurt and as soon as we sat down, a young girl came out and told us and another family that they were closed and we had to leave. Very rude and unprofessional. If you don't plan on letting your customers sit and eat the yogurt, then maybe give a heads up that we can buy but we can't stay. A general courtesy is to wait until your customers are finished. I won't be back, and I'm guessing the other family won't either, as we then all stood outside eating our yogurt and talking about how negative that experience was. A note to the owners; when you open a new business, letting it be run by high schoolers is not best practice. read more

My new favorite place! There are many, many benefits of cruising over to this new little gem but my favorite has to be the "kid corner" I cannot tell you how refreshing it is to be able to visit a place and have my children entertain themselves while I can take a minute to have a little treat for myself as well! Its wonderful! I could spend a whole day here! Another benefit is knowing how "hands-on" the owners are. Ive stopped in a few times and have met both of them, and must say they are very welcoming people who don't hesitate to stop chat and greet with all the customers who come in. This isn't just another franchise popping up- it is family owned and I personally appreciate that. The service is fantastic, the workers are extremely helpful and always so patient and kind especially with the children- and as a mother I know how frustrating it can be to deal with other peoples little ones! I could go on and on about the great flavor selection, the wide variety of toppings, the HUGE area that never feels too crowded or best of all the huge flat screen TV that is always playing shows accommodating to the crowds. This is what I mean about hands-on! Everything was thought of from the kids corners, to the TV to the huge comfy couch- this place has it all! Went here for the first time and I was pleased to be greeted as soon as I walked in. As for the actual frozen yogurt, I wish there were more options but the options they did have were ok. Toppings were also average. Some of the toppings were half-full or almost gone so wish they could have refilled it when they are running low. Nothing more frustrating than rushing to get to the store at 8:25, knowing that it closes at 9:00 on Sunday nights, seeing the worker sweeping the floor, and finding that she decided to close the store early. While knocking on the door/window to get her attention, she walked to the back, yet another car with 6 students from Swarthmore College pulled up and tried to open the door. Horrible Service, the fro-yo taste sour on certain days, i don't know when they clean the machines but they should be done on the same day in my opinion, the black girl that works nights is rude and has an attitude toward alot of customers, she made my daughter feel like trash the one nght with the way she was talking to her. The two tan girls that work here are very respectful and make you feel like your at home. The two chubby white girls that worked tonight just really do not know how to run a store alone and should have some one there that knows what they are doing. Myself and my family have been coming here for a while since new ownership and it really is going down hill. There are fruit flies and regular flies everywhere I've found one in my frozen yogurt and they are all over the toppings and coming out from under where the fro-yo comes out. There's is only one worker in-particular me and my family enjoy seeing and its the curly haired girl who is nothing but respectful and helpful.
