Scoops has a charming, old school neighborhood feel. The owner and workers were very friendly. They serve Nelson's ice cream which I wasn't previously familiar with but felt was fine but nothing exciting. The line builds up quickly and winds past the gas station but moves quickly. read more

We finally decided to stop and am so glad we did. It is a local one only ice cream spot. It is open June until Oct. I got a peanut butter type ice cream sundae it was delicious. They have a lot of flavors and variety from milkshakes to water ice. Must stop if you are passing by. read more

One of the best ice cream places in the area! They have a great variety of flavors and you KNOW it is popping here when there is a long line after dinner time. My friends and I went around 9pm and there were lots of customers waiting in line with their puppies (: At that time most people parked on the gas station that shares the same corner of the street. read more

Favorite ice cream place in Conshohocken. Wish it was open all year but it makes me look forward to the summers! After dinner we often take a walk to here for our dessert. We like to think we are getting some exercise and the ice cream calories won't count ha! The owner and his employees are always friendly and work with a smile on their face. Even though it was under a mask this year LOL! They did a great job serving their customers this summer despite everything going on. Even when busy everyone respected other's space and most everyone wore masks in line. Can't wait for next spring :) read more

Scoops is the perfect ice cream and water ice shop to satisfy your cravings as the weather gets nicer and we crawl our way out of quarantine. I was happy to see this place still up and running during these different times in which we're living right now. We got two sundaes - the Ryenn's Dream (everything peanut butter with vanilla soft serve) and the Twix Remix (a salted caramel, pretzel, peanut butter, hot fudge combo). Both were satisfying, delicious, and didn't give that overwhelmingly full feeling you get after crushing a whole sundae - just the right amount of all of the ingredients. There's something more comforting and personal about getting something from a non-chain shop like Scoops as well. Always friendly staff, affordable prices, and desserts that never let down. Scoops is a staple in Conshohocken. Amazing customer service. Friendly, never stressed, and are very generous with the napkins! It's right on Fayette St (main street), so it's easy to get to. However, when it gets crowded during the summer, there aren't many places to sit and the line tends to go across a gas station. Just be aware if you have young children because you're in a busy part of town. Price is fair for an ice cream stand. Delicious, have tons of variety, and the water ice/gelati is a great combo! They use to be cash only, but now they accept card. read more

Interestingly enough, it's located right by a gas station right in town. I think I'd been there before with my wife, but we went again recently for a treat one evening. The prices are really good for an ice cream spot, and they have great flavors, especially in hard ice cream. My wife got a hot fudge sundae with vanilla soft serve, and it was really good. I opted for hard ice cream - two scoops with different flavors I read about here on Yelp, which were brownie batter and a minty one. Both of our treats were delicious and satisfying! read more

While we love the icecream and water ice here the sizing is so inconsistent which is annoying. A small and kids tend to be the same size, yet other times a small could be the same size as a medium. For the price I wish I could say it's usually larger but really depends on who is working. Many times I have got a kids for my son and a small for myself, and it's the same time, yet different price. I wish the manager was more aware and would speak to the staff about consistency because it really is one of the best spots for icecream, milkshakes and water ice in the area. Even the soft serv is delish! read more

I visited Scoops for the first time last night. I was thrilled to see they served chocolate covered bananas, which I really enjoy. The frozen banana was alright, but nothing special. Their chocolate dip was not very flavorful and tasted a bit waxy. I could also tell that the banana used was a little over-ripe when it was frozen and dipped. I visited with my sister and tasted her soft serve vanilla with brownies, which was very good though! Scoops is pretty affordable and the staff was friendly. And yes, they do have pup cups and now take credit and debit cards. Again, my choice in frozen treat was not great, but I will probably visit again to try their other options. read more

I enjoy visiting Scoops when I am in the area. Their Cookies and Cream and Strawberry Shortcake are my favorite flavors so far. I thought my recent cone was a tad stale. It did have a paper sleeve on it though! The biggest reason that I have to take off a star is because I wish they used more eco-friendly bowls/cups. Something that can be easily recycled would be greatly appreciated instead of the styrofoam offerings. I opt for a cone lately to reduce my waste but a stale cone makes me turn into Grumpy Cat. read more

Wow, where do i even start with this MOUTH WATERING Ice cream shop!? They have a very wide, colorful, variety of ice cream, water ice, as well as frozen yogurt and other creative treats, that i hadn't heard of until i saw i took my kids here. My three children, (age 6, 8 and 12) are all ice cream lovers. Unfortunately, there aren't many ice cream shops around the area. Scoops is a great spot and the prices aren't bad for the location. My only concern is that it is cash only, and no sleeves or napkins are used to hold the cones when they are being scooped by the same person who just handled your cash. If you want to be able to eat your cone without feeling icky, request they grab it with a napkin. read more

You know this place is probably good because any nice summer night there is a line, but it moves pretty quickly usually. Its priced decently and the serving size is good. This place is a pedophiles paradise. It was 9:30 at night and I was wishing that I was a tool that actually wears sunglasses after dark. While I was eye raping all the prostitots with braces I was secretly waiting for Chris Hansen to jump out of the bushes. They didn't notice me anyway as they were to busy texting eachother about the back to school specials at Target. In all seriousness though this place is great, and I'm not really as sick as I've painted myself to be. Scoops usually has a decent size line at the window and they offer everything from hand-dipped to soft serve with any variation in between. I had the cake batter swirl hand dipped ice cream which was delicious. $3.00 for a 2 scoop medium cup or cone is alright by me. As previously stated the lack of seating and gas station parking lot ambiance are the only real downfalls. read more

I also got a number of shells in the crab I had to spit out. I feel like they could have mixed the crab with some kind of seasoning or flavors. It seemed like they just dumped the crab right out of the can into the pasta and didn't even clean the shells out first. And they didn't even put the pasta in any kind of sauce. I would have liked maybe a creamy sauce with it. The pasta was just in like a watery garlic broth, and it broke apart and crab went all in the water and I didn't even have a spoon to pick it up. Dessert was ok. I'm glad we got the dragonfruit cheesecake instead of the chocolate cake, it was refreshing . The tiramisu wasn't bad but it was still somewhat frozen. I was kind of surprised because we are fans of the Pieri group restaurants. We have been to their sister restaurant Stonerose for burger week for a number of years now and love it. We also came to burger week at bar sera the one year and really enjoyed theirs too. I wish they did them separate weeks so we could go to both . Maybe it was just an off night tonite. Sometimes valentines menus aren't as good as their regular menu. Maybe we learned our lesson to go out the week before valentines instead for next year.
