There were cows, goats, sheep, and other farm animals, which made it a fun experience, especially for a family visit. Overall, it was a relaxing and enjoyable afternoon. Good ice cream, friendly atmosphere, and a nice chance to get outside and see the animals. I'd definitely visit again.

The greenhouse had somewhere to buy stuffed animals and apple cider/ pies for sale. I wasn't impressed with the hot apple cider- it tasted like something I could get in the grocery store. Outside the greenhouse there were pumpkins for sale. For fall, they also have a corn maze and other activities for the kids.

We had just finished dinner in Glenside and were walking back to our car when we noticed a little…read moreice cream store. Dreams. We both LOVE ice cream, so we stopped in. The first thing I noticed was the disarray and lack of cleanliness in the store - frankly, it's a mess....which made me think twice about getting ice cream there. Nonetheless, I got a scoop of coffee. It was very tasty - I pretty much eat Haagen Dazs exclusively for both its taste and price. I can usually get a pint at Walmart for between $3-$4. This coffee ice cream had a little different coffee taste than Haagen - which I liked. However, it didn't seem as creamy, which was fine. My partner got the chocolate, which she said was average. One scoop was a little over $5, which is about average these days for your stand alone ice cream shops. While I was satisfied with the taste of my cone, I probably won't go back until they 'clean up' the store.

They offer the option to twist the flavors together, but we decided to keep them separate so we could really taste each one on its own. Both flavors were incredibly creamy and packed with flavor--it was hard to pick a favorite! The ice cream was so good that my husband immediately went back for round two. He ordered another Cookie Butter soft serve along with a Cake Batter soft serve topped with graham cracker crunch. Safe to say, they were both just as delicious as the first. Needless to say, we left completely stuffed, but it was absolutely worth it. If you're looking for a great place to satisfy your sweet tooth, Lila's Creamery & Desserts is definitely worth a visit. We were looking for ice cream after dinner in Ambler and quickly found Sweet Briar. The line of people waiting for ice cream was an indication it must be good...and it was!! I had the Espresso Explosion, a scooped ice cream, and my partner had a cone with the chocolate soft serve. My favorite ice cream is coffee, and the Espresso exceeded my expectations! It was rich and creamy with a deep coffee flavor that was accentuated with coffee beans that were coated with chocolate! The crunch of the beans with the ice cream was definitely an 'explosion'!
