Updating the review to express my joy. This place periodically offers specials for various holidays. My new absolute favorite is the Easter Lamb Cake. Owner/artist Laura makes these every year. Each one is unique! They're made of vanilla ice cream, red velvet cake, rainbow sprinkles in the head and butt. They are then covered in whipped cream, dusted with gold and decorated. I have named mine Ms. Philomena Anastasia Starling. She was delicious. Pre-order only, typically they start taking orders about a month in advance. There are limited quantities so don't wait! I haven't been on Yelp in a long time but felt compelled to talk about this place. For years I would visit the Montgomery County courthouse for work and never knew this place was so close! Today, returning to the area for work I was craving ice cream and found this spot. I WISH I HAD KNOWN ABOUT IT SO MUCH SOONER!!!! I opted for the Purple Rain sundae. Delicious with a whimsical topper that made me laugh. The sundae was well crafted, excellently proportioned and beautifully presented. You get your moneys worth! As I was paying, I noticed a little sign showing the "Big Ass" cinnamon roll. I had to try this as well. One of the lovely ladies working there gave me a tip on how to heat it up at home...MAGNIFICENT. A lot of places serve up some disappointing, tasteless cinnamon rolls - not this place. I've been to frosty falls a couple times and it never fails to disappoint. They have so many options and desserts variations you can choose from. I'm a huge fan of the waffle with ice cream on top and peanut butter drizzle. I look forward to trying the brownie next time. The staff is always super friendly and helpful when asking about the menu and serving our food. There's a nice sit down area outside in the summer that is shaded so you can enjoy your dessert out of the sun while still enjoying the weather. read more

There is a small outdoor sit-down area with a few tables and chairs. You are also welcome to sit closer to the water where there are a few benches. Prices were fair. I paid about $5.50 for single large scoop on a chocolate waffle cone. It was very good. All staff there were great...very friendly, patient and helpful. Just went for the first time this weekend after driving by numerous times. So glad I tried it!! My bf and I ordered a Cereal Killer, one of their cereal offerings that was peanut butter chocolate galore!!! Definitely enough for 2-3 people. It hit the spot for my Reeses craving. Layered with chocolate, reeses peanut butter, vanilla soft serve and reeses puffs. You cannot go wrong. Service was so nice and they took pride in the presentation of their product. Oh, my lanta! Frosty Falls is the best place to go if you have a sweet tooth! The prices are higher than any other ice cream place I've been to but you get a lot! I ordered the Half Baked Sundae with Funnel Cake and wow, I was so full! I suggest coming here on an empty stomach because the servings are big and you will be full! The other positives to this place are they are LGBTQ+ friendly, have vegan options, and nice places to sit. The only thing my sister and I were not fans of were the pretzels. The lady who took our order was very friendly and patient while we decided what we wanted. The menu is covered with tons of tasty options so it took a minute to decide. The staff at the second window for pickup were just as nice. Safety: They got a great safety protocol in place. Up one entrance and down the other. The floor is marked for social distancing. The staff is wearing gloves and mask. The utensils are prepackaged and they have hand sanitizer and individual wet wipes available as well. Finally THE ICE CREAM. I had the half baked sundae but changed the toppings out a bit. It was delicious and the serving size was HUGE! The banana ice cream is phenomenal. I couldn't have been more pleased with our visit. Driving pass there on the way to the mall, always see families lining up for the ice cream. Seems like they only open during summer or some hot days in autumn. it is located right next to the Schuylkill River and there's a garden themed out door seating which I liked. However besides the environment, the ice-cream itself is quite boring, by that I mean all the favors taste like what you can get in the supper market. Like, exactly the same for double the price. Every so often, a friend heads to Frosty Falls to buy sandwiches for lunch. One week I was curious, so I gave him an order (don't remember for what), cash, and prayers. He returned with sandwiches for everyone, including me. I eagerly opened its Styrofoam carrying case, and sniffed. Cold. I took a tentative bite, chewed thoughtfully. The bread was meh. The meats, okay. There wasn't much flavor to it, sadly. Either I picked the wrong sandwich, or I caught them on a bad day. I'll be back since they're convenient (to King of Prussia and surrounding towns), and their sheer variety of sandwiches is promising. Frosty Falls is reopened! The owner is reportedly Conshohocken Brewing Company which its brew pub is located cross the street. They serve Bassetts Ice Cream, Philadelphia Water Ice and Turkey Hill soft serve. Nuff said. My finally found my favorite flavor! Guatemalan Ripple (Guatemalan coffee ice cream with mocha fudge and chocolate chips)! If you like coffee ice cream, this is life changing. For a PB fan, they have PB in BP (Peanut Butter in BridgePort). Imagine how much PB you can load onto one single Ice Cream. Times that by 3. Plenty of outside seating. The plant-covered patio extended to several gazebos overlooking Schuylkill, the dam, and the bridge, making it a romantic, serene scenery at sunset. Like many others, I'd driven by Frosty Falls many times over the years, and finally went for the first (and second, and third) time in 2019. But I wasn't driven to write a review until now, in the depths of the pandemic, when I visited for the first time during the 2020 season and was happy to see how careful the employees were about social distancing and about keeping the food clean. One (gloved, masked) employee handled the money (and they now use Square for card transactions), and a separate gloved employee handled the ice cream. Which was delicious, as usual. Locally owned and managed, the staff is super friendly and quick to offer suggestions or explanations of the different flavors. What sets Frosty Falls apart are the novelty treats. The ice cream sandwiches are my favorite. They're perfectly sized with a delicious coating of chocolate crunch. If you want to really treat yourself get the Jumbo version. These are two chocolate chunk cookies with your choice of vanilla or chocolate ice cream in between. The cookies themselves would rival any bakery but then you put Frosty's Ice Cream in between?! Ehhh alright. A bit overpriced in my opinion and the soft serve melts extremely fast. I came here with my fiance after a date night a few weeks ago as this place is right around the corner from us. He ordered water ice and I ordered a small vanilla soft serve. The pricing for a small soft serve on a cone was almost $4. A bit of a rip off. NOTE: There is a WaWa on 4th Street over the bridge. After living in the area for over 8 years I finally stopped in to try their ice cream. The gentleman behind the window was friendly and easy-going. I tried something different and decided on a large sundae consisting of 3 scoops of pistachio ice cream, hot fudge, crushed pieces of Heath Milk Chocolate Toffee topped with whipped cream and a cherry. [$5.75 + tax] ---I THINK I'M HOOKED. I had to force myself to stop eating and place the rest in the freezer. Can't wait until I get home to finish it off! I will stop by another day to try their food. *Recommendation: Some areas could you a wipe down and some spots look a bit neglected but other than that it is a nice place to sit, relax and daydream. read more

I was doing my usual weekend ride on the Schuykill trail and wanted to stop and get the usual beer and pretzel at the Conshy brewery. On this day, the place was swamped so I decided to ride to the Bridgeport location. I found it swamped also and saw Frosty Falls across the street. I have never been happier to not have a beer. There is large selection of ice cream desserts and the prices are phenomenal. I spent $4 on a sundae that would have cost me $10 at Brusters. There is a nice patio area to watch the falls. The ice cream is Bassetts so they are not skimping on the base of the dessert. I definitely plan on returning regularly. read more

After the duck neck binge, I didn't feel like eating leftovers from lunch or getting a full dinner so we went on a quest for ice cream. It's dairy protein so don't judge. We hadn't been here in quite a while so we stopped in aiming to order just shakes. Much to my surprise and delight, I saw the 2 magic words: funnel cake. If you know me, you should know that I have an incredible weakness for fried, crispy batter covered in powdered sugar, especially when there aren't any seagulls to fight me for it. So there you are. I got the funnel cake, although my expectations were somewhat abated since this isn't exactly the shore. It was actually pretty decent, though, and they made it fresh. The presentation and swirling technique could use some work but fried batter/dough is delicious in any form. Apparently, Tuesdays are $3.00 shake nights so we also got a mint chocolate chip shake, which was cold, creamy, and delicious. Yeah...today was definitely not health-conscious day but live and let live, right? Diets can wait, especially when there are funnel cake, ice cream, and duck to be consumed. Asked how large a scoop is. Got told it's the size of a scoop. Felt a bit sarcastic. The scooped ice cream was filled with ice crystals. Got a sundae here the time before and it was sloppily put together in a styrofoam box that cheese fries are put in. Not impressed and the quality does not match the high prices. Asked for a little puppy treat and got told it was $3.00 -- no thanks; Rita's hooks dogs up for free with a little puppy cup. Cash only establishment which seems a bit shady. While the ice cream itself was adequate and the service was friendly, it was almost too friendly. We waited over a half hour for two sundaes and an avalanche. There were only four customers ahead of us. Instead of helping the other employee with fulfilling orders, one just stood and chatted for over 15 minutes at the order window. It also was peculiar that the orders served was not consistent with placed orders. So while all my interactions were pleasant, I would recommend any other ice cream/ice water shop if you don't have a long time to wait. read more
