One of my favorite local spots! This little ice cream and candy shop is the perfect stop to satisfy your sweet craving. They have so many different flavors of ice cream to choose from and all from Bassetts! They also have a variety of Special Sundaes, Milkshakes, Gelato, Water Ice, etc. I decided to get a root beer float and it was delicious! The root bear was great quality, from Philadelphia too, and the ice cream was creamy. The large variety of candy is also incredible! My favorite part is that they sell many candies that you don't find at your normal grocery store - many from my childhood which I love! The store itself is small, but they do have some barstools to sit at. The staff is also super friendly and you can also get a punch card when you check out to eventually get free ice cream. Parking out front is limited but I never have trouble finding a spot. Love this place and will always be coming back!!

I love this little place. Great place to bring the kids. My favorite ice cream place in Broomall/Newtown Square area. Great ice cream. Friendly staff. They are open later than other ice cream places. Love the color changing spoons.

Love Bassett's ice cream, but can't make it to downtown Philly to get some? (Basically me since I never go to Reading Terminal Market and when I do, I stuff my face full of food I can never get ice cream anyway) Love old-timey candy shops and need a blast back to the 50s? This is the place for you! It's basically sugar heaven with tons of candies and a laundry list of Bassett's ice cream flavors. Their banana splits are huge (I didn't get it, but someone from my party did) and you can customize your flavors (up to 3 scoops). I settled for a coffee ice cream with marshmallow, hot fudge, and peanut butter. And, I was so happy! It was kind of expensive since they only have two scoop sizes (not the usual small, medium, large; I usually get small since I only like a little bit of ice cream), but in the end, it's totally worth it. The ice cream is definitely top-notch and I would come back here again. And, in addition, they had my boyfriend's favorite ice cream which is hard to find: cinnamon!

This place is adorable. My boyfriend got a milkshake and he said it was the best one he's ever had. I got a regular cone - delicious. Love that they have the boutique candy store vibe but also have so many different types of ice cream. You can tell it's family owned and has such a personal touch. They have hard and soft serve ice cream, cookies, pretty much anything you could want. Staff is super friendly. Highly recommend!

They deliver throughout MANY towns in the SF Bay Area and beyond. This is the best food delivery service EVER and it is ORGANIC and vegetarian, eco-friendly, and a reasonable price! Having received a degree from New College of California in Culture, Ecology and Sustainable Community, Toni has extensive knowledge about sustainability, local agriculture, and community-building, all of which have inspired the creation of Three Potato Four. You can get a loaf of fresh baked bread AND FLOWERS, to boot! They also have a kids menu that is fun and healthy! Toni used to be a nanny, so she knows what kids like! On Tuesday it arrives on the doorstep, filled with entrees for my other half and myself. The food is delicious. It is also inventive and nicely arranged. I will tell you this much: I had never actually enjoyed eating a portobella mushroom until last Wednesday. I am greatly looking forward to what will arrive this week. Whatever it is, I know it will be all of the following: 1) delectable 2) vegetarian and 3) not cooked by me, a fact which automatically elevates it somewhat, because I cannot even prepare rice without the assistance of a special appliance. Futhermore, when stacked up against the cost of buying organic everything to make dinners at home, $90 for eight healthy-sized servings is equal to or less than what we'd have spent on the effing ingredients at Rainbow, let alone the travel time and effort involved in hauling ass to the store. Heat and eat! It's a revolution! No, really. If you're stressed for time (my other half), hate to cook (myself), or just lazy (both of us, occasionally), Three Potato Four will make your life that much easier. Even Martha Stewart, queen of doing all things for oneself with flair and finesse, would call hiring Three Potato Four a good thing. Go on now. You'll thank me.

Spent almost $50 on candies and treats, and firstly all of the "bulk" candy was clearly stale and had been out for a long time. My partner and I also purchased treats called "thin mints" (which any google search would tell you thin mints = girl scout style cookie treat) but when we opened them at home they were peppermint patties, a completely different treat and not something either of us like. We went back today to see if we had been given the wrong thing or if they could help us, and the woman there (assuming she was the owner/manager by her demeanor) was so so unprofessional and dismissive! We walked in and no one greeted us, the "owner" woman was at the register on her cell phone talking and turned away from us upon walking in. After a few minutes a young girl came out and helped us, so I explained the miscommunication the day before. The owner (note, she was also in the store the day before during our initial transaction) interrupted to explain in a pretty condescending way that they meant something different by "thin mints" and that we clearly did not know. She then got back on her phone and turned her back, clearly did not care that a customer was unhappy. I explained to her employee that this was clearly a miscommunication and can they help us with switching to a candy we like or give us a refund, and she quickly refused and offered no other path to making the situation right. So disappointing to want to support a small business, just to realize they completely don't care about what they are selling or who they are selling to. Seriously, go to the Head Nut candy shop in town instead.
