Prosciutto focaccia sandwich
Melanie S.

Stopped in for lunch, about $15 for a sandwich and hibiscus strawberry lemonade. I loved the lemonade it's was tart and floral! The prosciutto sandwich was warm, crispy, with a fresh salty bite . Service was quick. I didn't realize there were other shops if you walk back through the dining area! Very cool fun relaxing environment. Only two people were working so it makes sense but there could have been better house keeping tables were dirty but that's my only complaint!

Expanded new sitting area.

Before I start my praises, I'm just going to go ahead and say at the person who gave the lowest 2 star review. It is 100% wrong but you know personal taste... Only downside was the music was way too loud to be honest. The place don't have enough seating due to it being a SMALL store so there's much one can can do, eh? This is the ONLY coffee place like this around the area so I'm very thankful that at least one exist, or you might as well be happy with a Dunkin Donuts visit. The sandwiches and pastries are awesome. I have nothing to complain but specially the pastel de nata, incredible! I heard many costumers complimenting the food quite a few times when I was there, I recently discovered this place because of my friend and I've been coming here since then. They also recently expanded the store so the place has another bigger sitting area and I'm very glad to have a coffee like this near me. I will say I hope they have some outdoor seating so I can hopefully bring my fur animals on a sunny day.

I was around the area and was excited to try this spot out! I was disappointed with the service here. The lady barely acknowledged me and I thought I had to use the iPad to order for myself. I later found out I wasn't supposed to touch it but didn't know until I asked a question and the lady seemed annoyed with me. I completely understand if people are exhausted or tired, I wish there was better communication. I ordered and enjoyed the Portuguese dessert.

I have been coming in and out of Lansdowne for literal decades, but only discovered Camellia's when I was here in June. What a delight! The eggplant biscuit was the first thing I tried and it was really lovely for breakfast with a Indian tomato-based sauce. Since that first visit, I have had an egg and cheese biscuit, as well as some egg custards. All were very tasty indeed. Their coffee is good as well. It is on the small side with counter service with about 5 tables inside and an additional 3 outside. It would be nice to sit outside, but the times that I was there, the traffic on Lansdowne Ave was sufficiently busy as to not make for a very relaxing meal.

Eggplant lonsa biscuit

This was an amazing breakfast sandwich - eggplant and spicy lonsa tomato sauce on a lovely fluffy biscuit. The coffee of the day was a tasty Thai variant. This is clearly a comfortable local establishment with folks who know each other coming in and out. The pain au chocolate was also delicious! Would definitely recommend!

Consistently great coffee & baked goods and pleasant service. The Zucchini Bread is better than I've ever had anywhere including homemade!

I definitely recommend to anyone who wants a steak or chicken and cheese with everything on it. The store front is modest and the cooks and staff bring a homegrown feel to the place with laughter and jokes the whole 15 minute wait.

I wanted to find the best cheesesteak possible without detouring too much from my route and without going into Center City. I mapped it out, scoured reviews, and set my heart (and my GPS) to Leo's Steak Shop. It was easy enough to navigate to from the airport and there was plenty of street parking nearby. You could definitely call and order ahead, but I didn't have a long wait since the lunch rush was likely over. They were still busy and I probably waited 15 minutes for my sandwich. I went with a large cheesesteak which was insanely large. This could easily be split between two grown men. Lucky for me, I had leftovers the next day. I also snagged a bag of chips from the giant selection and a soda for the road. There are no tables inside and it was winter so I took it to go. Even though I hadn't eaten all day, I held off until I got to my hotel about 30 minutes away where I proceeded to devour half of this overstuffed cheesy monstrosity of a sandwich in the front seat of my car (had to wait to check in). I was in shaved steak heaven for the rest of the day. Then after a night of drinking with my buddies, I woke up to the second half in the fridge and proceeded to devour round two of this steak bomb which at that point was the only thing I had eaten for the last 24 hours. Next time I fly into PHL, I know exactly where I'm going.

Our server was friendly and continued to check on us throughout our meal to make sure we had everything we needed. My companion got a vegetable omelette, which, as she described it, was more like a mess of veggies held together with a little egg and cheese- it looked wonderful and she said it was tasty. It came with a side of grits which was large enough to be a meal unto itself. She asked for hot sauce and they brought some over- they make it in-house (and you can buy it to-go if you want it for home). It had delicious authority! Hot but still very flavorful. I got a grilled cheese with spinach- it was delicious- very cheesy but also very spinachy and not too greasy from the skillet. The highlight for me was the maduros (plantains)- they were just the right combination of crispy from the carmelized sugars and soft but not squishy, and zero charred taste (which can happen if you are not careful). If I still lived locally, I would be in here frequently- we both left very satisfied and the portions were large enough that we brought home some omelette and some maduros for an afternoon snack. Well done Leo's!

This is a place you definitely come to sit and enjoy the food and conversation of people you are with. The food was delicious, I wanted to try a bit of everything I got a cup of coffee, mangu, empanada and pancakes. Only $23 for all that in this economy!! I will be back. The coffee was hot and fresh, mangu was creamy with savory salty sausage, cheese with acidic pickled onions and rich dippy eggs (my preferred way they are cooked) the pancakes were lightly crisped on the topped and perfectly fluffy on the inside and served with real butter. I can't tell you how gross it is getting a side of fake butter at diner that just tastes like crisco so I was very delighted by the butter haha. The empanada was packed with flavor and I loved their hot sauce! I will be back and I highly recommend great little spot!

There is a private lot off to the side of the building that the store is located. There is also street parking located within a reasonable walking distance. The staff there was friendly enough, even though my interaction with them was limited. The store has all that you would want in a convenience store including scratch offs, beer, soda, juice, chips, and candy. It appeared very cluttered and dirty. There were boxes all over the floor. You will find a couple of booth tables in the store's small dining area. The booths were in bad shape and I had to weave between some boxes to get to them. It was nice to have the dine in option though because I had caught a bus to get her from my hotel. This place serves burgers, sandwiches, wings, fish, fries hoagies and steak and cheeses. I ordered the Jerk chicken cheesesteak sandwich, with a side of fries. It took about 12 minutes for me to get my food. It was fresh and and delicious. It was packed with flavor and there was a ton of food. While I was there, they were receiving a a shipment of drinks, which caused them to leave the front door open. On a normal day this would not have been an issue, but it was a very cold day and I was freezing while I ate in the dining. area. I finished my food quickly to get out of there. This place has some very good food, but the location and cleanliness and order of the place is purely wretched. I was willing to accept that, but some people may not and so this review is just to make you aware.
