Here on Tuesday at 4:50. Fried chicken is good. Deli is slow, numbers are pointless. Deli workers will help who they want.

This Acme is probably the best one in Delco. I appreciate the pickup options and with short notice (2 hrs or less) all of the employees are knowledgeable. I only had issues a few times with freshness when comparing to other food stores it's the best option locally. When doing the pickup or delivery this is the only food store that actually has the items as requested. Ambiance is like a regular food store- I never noticed this Acme to not be cleaned. The manager is also great. read more

Thanks Acme, not only do you keep raising prices constantly, but now your bags are so thin, bread is a struggle to hold. Why even bother! Now on top of killing a paycheck on nothing, I get to go clean up glass from my driveway, thanks to your ridiculous cheap bags. It was bad enough when prices went up, but now I get the luxury of paying for things that won't make it into the house. The produce hike on items is absurd, the quality has declined in the past couple of months. Often I have to throw out fresh produce and fruit because they rot before a few days. Shame on you for your price gouging. read more

A great place to shop! Nice people. Nice stock. Great spacing of items. Free parking. Lots more good things. read more

Robert is an extremely helpful and courteous young man. I've noticed during my last two visits he doesn't hesitate to jump in and assist fellow employees or customers. Give him a raise! read more

This Acme is atrocious. 90% of the staff looks to be between 18 and 20 years old and have no time for customers, they're constantly standing around talking to each other or using their cell phones while there are excessive lines in the cashiers because only one or two are open. I've never been there, where I didn't have to wait in excess of 10 minutes for a single employee to show up at the meat and seafood counter to assist me with my order when I'm the only one there Today I had the pleasure of dealing with a cashier in the alcohol checkout (there was only one alcohol, checkout line open, or I would've gone to a different one) she was clearly sick, coughing, and blowing her nose, while scanning and touching customers goods, and never once washed her hands or used hand sanitizer. This Hass to be the absolute worst supermarket I've ever had to use. I read more

this is quite possibly the worst grocery store in any city i've ever lived. and i've lived in quite a few across the country. it's 50/50 that your produce isn't already spoiled or near the end of its life. i bought two month expired oat milk. then went to replace it and found 10+ with the same now 3 month old date in their refrigerator. i did them the courtesy of taking them out and telling someone. when i was back a few days later. guess where they were ? you guessed it back in the refrigerator. good luck checking out when it's busy because they will have one person at booze checkout and maybe one other. i don't work for acme i'm not constantly checking out. especially when i have a bunch of items. effff this place. read more

Oooooh, yeah. This Acme is pretty amazing. I was worried when we moved to the area that I wouldn't be able to find a supermarket that I liked as much as my go-to in the city, but I need not fear anymore. I have found what I've been needing! This Acme is huge, with great produce, excellent bagels, and tons of organic things. The prices were great, also. I'll be back (weekly)! read more

I had the lady Kim slice lunch meat during closing and I really needed it and she still sliced it for me she's awesome and I hope she gets recognition for her work ethic 10/10 read more

Many Acmes tend to be large but still suffer from a lack of needed space dictated by the building footprint. Not this one. This is Huge. I mean, huge. It is a pleasure to come here. Well stocked, samples, a good Spanish selection, Italian selections, you name it. And a gigantic fresh food area. Plenty of self-check-out registers, which have become my favorite as just about every grocery store in which I shop and they bag my fruit, they crush my avocados. Steps from the Home Depot for a one-stop home foray. One of the best in the area. read more

I have no issues with the market itself, but rather a health issue I saw while shopping early this AM. Went in just after opening @7am and there were a lot of people in the aisles stocking shelves who were NOT wearing their masks correctly - the masks weren't covering their noses, which is a major health danger during this pandemic. The only way to correctly wear a mask over BOTH the mouth AND nose. "Nose out" means that mask is doing NOTHING to protect ANYONE. If I see this happening again, I'm reporting it to store management immediately ... and anyone else seeing it should report it as well. Store employees and vendors should be held accountable for this dangerous and completely irresponsible behavior. read more

This Acme has beer & wine (a pretty decent selection, too) available. They also have a sushi section, next to the deli and hot foods bars. Crowded on weekends - but a great place to get everything you need in this area of Ridley. read more

Terrible customer service, rude employees and nobody seems like they want to work there. I hate going here but go because it's close but i will take the extra mile and go to Shoprite much cheaper and more pleasant!!!! Not worth a star read more

In my honest opinion, this is probably the best Acme in Delaware County until I see otherwise. What makes it so good? Compared to other Acmes I have been to, this location has the biggest selection of healthy and organic foods to choose from. It is pretty big and the aisles are divided in such a way that it makes finding things easy. For example, if I want to make an Asian style dish, there is a section with "ethnic" foods. To be politically correct, the section is titled something along the lines of Food from Around the World. The best time to go to Acme is when there are sales. The price of fruits can be pretty pricey, when compared to Pathmark, which is nearby. Overall, if you're looking for a spacious market to do your grocery shopping and you care about what you put in your body, I definitely recommend Acme in Folsom. read more

I have almost never had problems with Acme however my mother ordered off of their delivery services and the woman who got our groceries gave us a tub of yogurt which had a broken lid and a sell by date of November 9, about a month ago we wasted our very limited money on expired yogurt, we will not be ordering from the delivery service anymore due to this and a few small mistakes, however acme is still our go to store and we will certainly go shopping there ourselves. Just please don't put out really expired yogurt. read more

This ACME location in particular is NASTY! I've been giving them chance after chance, I've spoken to several employees and the manager Jerry, plus another manager/supervisor. Their produce is consistently moldy after a day of purchasing! Numerous canned and boxed items have been expired upon purchasing! This has been going on for almost a year! I am officially DONE. And reporting them to the health department. One of the MANY times I have reported this persistent issue to the ACME staff I was informed by an employee that on that day, the president was coming in to discuss some of the issues they were having, one of them involving temp control. Jerry, the manager, also informed me that Folsom ACME has an issue with temperature control. My concern is, if you know this issue has never been fixed, why do you still sell produce? There's something very odd and nasty going on! Plus, the icing on the cake, was last week I scanned a bag of oranges wrong. The older, thin, white haired woman comes over and nearly knocks me off my feet, reaches into my bag, re scans it, and walks away. WOAH!!!!!! I was amazed that that just happened. I filed a complaint against her. Wonder if anything was done? Just like the temp control issue. read more

Groceries are good. WHY IS THERE NEVER ENOUGH PEOPLE AT THE DELI? This is what sends me to Shoprite or Pikes. There are 6 people behind the counter. It should not take 20 mins for a pound of cheese. Attention manager. This is for you. Schedule two more people for the deli. Get a bell. I will buy the bell. When they need help, ring the bell. read more

This is longer overdo. The store is convenient, I'll give it that. It's interesting that as one of of the more expensive food stores the staff is not better trained around basic food safety. I have had to ask repeatedly for people to either put on gloves while handling food, such as bakery, or change gloves in the seafood department. I have also had them refuse to change gloves. One gentlemen went from handling shrimp, printed out someones label and then came around (had to open a door) and opened the display case - that people touch and lean on - and reached in and grabbed a piece of salmon - all with the same pair of gloves. Needless to say, I passed on the fish. While this was going on an employee walked in back of the counter, put on a shirt, a hat and adjusted his hair, none of which should have been done behind the seafood counter, never washed his hands and then started to help customers. I now go miles out of my way for seafood. After today at the bakery when a man in street clothes, no apron who was doing paperwork thought nothing of reaching in case without washing or putting gloves on to grab a cupcake with his finger touching the side - I am done buying anything fresh from the store;especially when I asked for gloves to begin with. I will say one of the bakers ran over and grabbed a new one for me with gloved hands when I said something. read more

Most of the Pharmacy staff is really pleasant but they have been switching over lately. A pregnant pharmacist today that opened was rude. I waited 20 minutes for them to open and when she did she walked past me three times did not greet me and told the other lady she was in no rush to get the place opened. It was overly rude and her attitude was very nasty! read more

Hello to my Yelp Family!! This review is just a shout-out for Mike D. the Meat Manager. The prices are way too high here and the only time I advise to shop here is when they advertise sales or have sales. Mike D. is one of the most pleasant employees I have come around in a long time. I have had two encounters with Mike D. Each time Mike D. exceeded and then some. The first encounter I needed Chicken Drumsticks, the family pk and there were none on the shelf. Take into account, it is 6:30 am in the morning on a Tuesday. Mike D. offered to prepare them for me in the back. And Mike D. brought out two family packs of drumsticks for me. I asked for two. The second time, I needed the same thing and there were some on the shelf, just not the family pack. Mike D. remembered me from the first time and prepared the same thing for me, and gave me a deal, because I said that one pack was too expensive, $10.52 and I am used to purchasing one family pack at Giant for $4.62. The time once again is early morning. Mike D. you are the best and thank you for going above and beyond! My go-to-supermarket is Giant and the only reason I shopped here is because it is close to the Ridley Planet Fitness where I work out every morning and it is close to Wawa where I patronize every morning before work and it is convenient for me to stop at both locations before heading to work. Good night - Yelp Family!!! read more

Ok market. New-ish store but very expensive for the quality they offer. Bank, Redbox, available inside.

It's old faithful in the township of Glenolden, PA. Everybody comes here to buy food and enjoy free samples. Prices are high, but the food is VERY high quality. read more

If you knew what goes on in the back room you would never shop here. Why would you put the trash dumpster/compactor in the same location where you bring in groceries, produce, etc.? It's not this Acme but others. The Giant (formerly Genaurdi';s) on Baltimore Pike in Springfield, PA is the same. Had to walk out of this store because of the smell of rotting trash. read more

The cashier (Howard) didnot ask for my phone number so I could get my Mymix/Just4U rewards. Nor does the checkout device prompt for this feature. Your store will probably be impacted when the Lidl opens in two weeks! read more

In line. They have hardly any checkers. Lines long. Orders huge. I have 4 items. No express lines opened. They took away self check out. I have to remember to never come here read more

in my honest opinion, this is the best acme i have ever been too. maybe i'm biased because it's "my" acme..meaning it's the acme i've been going to for years... but i just love everything about it. the produce selection is better than any other stores in the area, the isles are always clear and everything is stocked no matter what day of the week or time of day. something i appreciate, besides them also selling wine, is the staff. now there are a few younger cashiers that i try and avoid at checkout because they seem to find their phones more important but overall the staff is excellent. very friendly people and also something i notice is that most of the staff members have been there for years and years. i have been coming to this acme at least once per week for years and years and most of the cashiers are the same.. that really says something about the work place. i would highly recommend going to this acme and if you do find yourself having a not so pleasant experience at any point, the customer service staff are so accommodating. read more
