? How do you improve on perfection ? Obviously you can't. And Lidl please don't try to because you've got this right. Imagine a bit of Trader Joe's with Aldi's prices. The store setup is a bit of both. I want to shout out " THIS PLACE IS GREAT" Clean, wide aisles. 2 people can actually get down an aisle without the usual step aside and allow to pass dance at other grocery stores. Shelves are well stocked and pleasing to the eye. Workers here are friendly and helpful. The parking lot is huge and navigable. Prices are reasonable and fair for quality items. The icing on the cake is they provide you with NEXT weeks flyer as you leave the store. And it's of course also posted online. I've taken this a few times and planned meals ahead to save time. Lidl--- you've got me for life!

I first found this store while in Paris in the area of 'Rosa Parks ' not too far from the train stop of that very name, about two blocks. I was able to purchase great snacks for my room while on vacation and a great pair of espadrilles with sequins for $5 the equivalent of $5 US. This store in Delaware County is much larger with food, clothes and general supplies. For the most part the prices are reasonable or on par with other markets. However I did find some fruits and vegetables slightly pricey. But it's balanced by decent prices for organic items. This store sells organic meat, bread etc. The bakery has a variety of freshly baked goods, rolls, bread and delicious cookies. These items are buy one get one 1/2 off. I will surely make a point to adjust my travel to get in some discount shopping!

Wow! Great to finally have a Lidl in PA! Consistent layout (this is my ninth Lidl) and easy to find what I need, fast. In store bakery is a plus. Probably bad for weight loss goals though. Good organic choices too. Check it out.

New modern looking large store.

Watch out Aldi a new store is in town. This just opened market is another German import. Similar format as Aldi but on a larger scale. This store is quite big. It has plenty of room to move around and is well lit. Unlike Aldi they bake their bread on site. The bread is delicious. I got three hot out of the oven baguettes for a sale price of seventy five cents. They were crunchy and delicious. The regular price is $1.12 per loaf. The other items like rolls and whole wheat bread looked delicious. The fruit and vegetables were nicely laid out and were fresh and inexpensive. Also unlike Aldi they carry a number of brand name items. The store carries a number of imported food items. A nice selection of Italian lunch meats and cheese all reasonably priced. I purchased a 16oz bottle of Extra Virgin Olive Oil for $3.99. It was delicious on that bread with the lunch meat and cheese when I got home. They have a nice selection of non food items like clothing, tools and small electronics, sort of like a small Costco. Like Aldi you need to bring your own bags or purchase them there. I really like this new addition and will make it one of my regular shopping shops.

ALL THIS FOR $50.00!

This place is great! Better selection than Aldi. Although the meats are pricey, they make up with it on great deals of everything else. They have a cute little bakery when you walk in, tons of produce. Would recommend 100%. The customer service was fantastic! I everyone created me, said good morning, the cashier also apologized about their truck being late, for the lack of certain items. Check the place out! Late hours too!

The bakery selling freshly baked rolls and pastries reminded me of the grocery stores in the Netherlands. The protein bread rolls make great sandwiches. The stack crisps were cheap and good. Checking out was fast. Just bring your own reusable shopping bags. I also bought a bag of organic honeycrisp apples which were juicy and much cheaper than at the supermarkets. The store is bright, clean and well-organized. Lidl is a great addition to the area!

My favorite supermarket. Very nice bakery. Lidl-branded products are way cheaper than the average competing products. Nice staff.

Review Highlights - Lidl

Think of Lidl as simply a slightly more upscale version of Aldi's and with a European style bakery.

RE: Health Issues: SHOPRITE (store #413) 1568 CHESTER PIKE, UNIT B1, DELAWARE COUNTY, EDDYSTONE, PA…read more19022 To Whom It May Concern, I am writing out of deep concern and frustration regarding a serious mold infestation at the only market serving our neighborhood. I have made several attempts to address this matter directly with the business, but those efforts have been completely ignored. There has been absolutely no regard for the health and well-being of the community -- especially those of us who suffer from allergies or other health conditions. The cost of living is already extremely high, and yet we are forced to shop in an environment that is hazardous. I now believe that my own recent illness may have been directly linked to exposure at ShopRite. I have documented this issue extensively through videos, and I am willing to provide them as evidence. I'm not sure if all the files will attach to this message, but I can provide them upon request or upload them through an alternate method if needed. I am pleading with your office(s) to take this matter seriously and act swiftly to investigate and hold this business accountable. The community deserves a clean, safe place to buy food and necessities -- not a health hazard disguised as a grocery store. Since I made several attempts to address this privately and the dangerous issues were disregarded, I publicly went on X to address the Collins family. Thank you & I hope for a speedy solution for myself & community "Our family-owned stores have been rooted in the Philadelphia area since 1995. We pride ourselves on our tradition of families serving families. In addition to operating four ShopRite stores that are known for providing fresh, high-quality foods, exceptional customer service and access to local jobs, our family also donates to groups that work to reduce hunger and end violence." -The Collins Family These photos and videos were taken at the ShopRite Market location: 1568 CHESTER PIKE, UNIT B1, DELAWARE COUNTY, EDDYSTONE, PA 19022 (e.g., store #413), owned by the Collins family. They show a disturbing and unacceptable level of neglect inside the store's refrigerated food displays. I have reported this disgraceful sanitation problem to staff multiple times -- and each time, I was ignored. My concerns have clearly fallen on deaf ears. Unbeknownst, I found mold on your product. I purchased a product from this location that had mold inside. At first, I thought it might have been a manufacturing defect -- but after seeing the condition of these refrigerators, I now know better: This is ShopRite negligence, plain and simple. This is how the Collins family -- owners of not just this store, but three other ShopRite locations -- treat the very communities who keep their business alive. Deplorable Conditions Include: Visible mold, grime, and buildup in refrigeration vents and cold-air circulation grills. Black seals and trim covered in debris -- a clear sign of chronic neglect. Rust and staining around airflow areas. Food residue and debris stuck in the vent mesh and underneath units. Unclean surfaces in direct proximity to perishable, consumable goods. Why This Is a Serious Health Hazard: Mold and bacteria are easily airborne and can contaminate nearby foods. Plastic and metal can host mold if organic material (dust, grime) and moisture are present -- and that's clearly the case here. Mold exposure can cause respiratory issues, allergic reactions, and serious illness. Certain molds produce mycotoxins and aflatoxins -- dangerous substances that can make people extremely sick, or worse, DEATH. The store's neglect is absolutely in violation of health codes and contributing to unsafe food conditions. Personal Impact: During the time I continued shopping at this store, I became sick -- and after multiple rounds of antibiotics and medical screenings, I'm starting to question: "Was I unknowingly exposed to contaminated food or mold spores in your store?" I have medical documentation to support that I suffered from respiratory illness during this time. How many others have been affected without realizing it? To the Collins Family: You've made public statements claiming to "care about the community." This says otherwise. While your own home's fridge units are likely spotless and protected, we are exposed to dangerous conditions that could cost someone their health -- or worse, their life. This is not just unacceptable -- it's shameful. MEMO TO CUSTOMERS: Start documenting. Report these stores. Take photos. File complaints. If nothing is done -- EXPOSE THEM. We deserve clean, safe environments where we shop and feed our families. If the owners won't take action, it's up to us to hold them accountable.
