The donuts are freshly made to order and boy do they have a lot of options! It's one style of base with different toppings but it's a really solid donut. I tried the donut sandwich on my last visit and really enjoyed it as well! The only thing I probably wouldn't get again is the dipper cup as the donut holes end up more dense than their regular donuts.

My first visit was a week or so after my grandson was born, and my son & I popped over to get a dozen of the Halloween seasonal doughnuts. I loved seeing that all of the doughnuts are literally made to order, WHEN ordered! The decorations & toppings are also fun & tasty. Since then (mid October), I've enjoyed sampling from at least 3 dozen doughnuts with no regrets. In fact, on our last visit, we stopped at Duck's Donuts FIRST to pick up a fresh dozen for the weekend. And by "weekend", I really just mean Saturday night & Sunday morning. These doughnuts are so good that I wasn't surprised that only 2 were left when we headed home the next day. Although they are BEST warm & fresh, these doughnuts are also delicious the next day. And I've really enjoyed the seasonal variety dozens. My son has mentioned that he & my DIL pick up doughnuts here regularly, even without me in town. I'm glad we came when we did because they had their Spring menu going on and guess what? Lavender!!!!! I love Lavender! I chose the Honey Lavender Latte with Oatmilk, 24oz while my fiancé got a Happy Camper (vanilla, cinnamon, honey) with Almond Milk, 24oz. For food we got the Sausage, Egg, and Cheese on a Ciabatta Roll and a Ham and Cheese on a Ciabatta Roll. We were impressed by both sandos as they were really filling and very tasty. The lattes are very bold tasting and definitely needed to be stirred because after that first sip I got a mouthful of syrup. They also offer doggy doughnuts for your fur friends. Their doughnuts are excellent, but taste is more like fried dough from the carnival. I love them but some people may prefer more cake-like doughnuts (dunkin style). The new savory doughnuts are also pretty tasty - I tried the Hawaiian BBQ chicken recently. I don't love ordering coffee drinks at Parlor. Often if you get something with Espresso, it get's stuck in a long queue because they only have one barista and espresso machine. Their drinks are also just average - nothing special. Most of the staff at Parlor are young and still learning, but friendly enough. If you dine in at the Fruit Cove location, be aware that seating can be limited inside. They do have additional seats outside when weather is nice.

Minus one star because sometimes they aren't cooked as well and can be a bit doughy in the middle. Those days I eat the edges which are still good. Unfortunately, that's the last time I'm gonna use that word in this review . The shop it's itself pretty small. Not an outright problem, but it does limit a few things. Sadly anybody that's got a wide set of hips or a larger backside is not gonna be comfortable in any of the chairs that they have at this location. That's fine if you're not trying to entice customers to sit and enjoy their food there, but it was unfortunate to find myself in a situation where my hips did not fit and its unlike the chairs at other locations. I ordered six donuts , sadly, the very first one and the second one that I ate out of that grouping, I could tell have been sitting out for a while. I don't know if they had been made that day or potentially the day before, but the donuts themselves were hard and not the smooth texture that they're supposed to be. Were they inedible? No but I was disappointed because I was excited to share this with a friend and found that this was a letdown. I just had a mochinut this morning from a different flavor, but the same place and I could tell that that one was much fresher. I would strongly suggest there be a timer or there be a limitation to how many or which kinds of donuts are left out. Or you could take a leaf from some of the other mochi nuts and have a few that are on display for the different flavors that you offer and then make each of the Mochinuts, fresh to order. I recognized that may be more complicated, leaving fryers on and things like that but if you have a good product, that's not gonna matter long-term because your sales will offset that and have a consistent basis for what your food and products are supposed to taste like will make a difference. I also found it really interesting that you had different flavors for your Boba teas. I asked specifically if you had Ube and the girl at the register had no idea what I was talking about which is fine. But upon looking at the menu of a further after sitting down, you do list, purple, sweet potato as a flavor. And while there are some nuance differences between purple, sweet potatoes and Ube because technically Ube is a yam and not a sweet potato. Most people don't look at that nuance and believe that they are the same. So I will have to try that the next time I'm in although I don't know when that will be because I don't wanna have to drive out to Beach Boulevard to go to kung fu tea every time I want a Boba. The atmosphere of the restaurant was nice but again the issue with the chairs and people with hips. I give this place a three out of five for now. We'll see if a new visit gets me a different opinion.
