    Doughnuts

Parlor Doughnuts was a cool place to go for a cup of coffee and a doughnut. I had the French toast doughnut which is a popular flavor and it was really good. A bit on the sweeter side, but hey, it's a doughnut! Service was great! Will definitely be back!

Hi. So I don't understand. I doordashed (it's not the dasher because the tape to keep the box closed wasn't tampered with) donuts from this place. I tried being peaceful as I find your donuts to be a wonderful experience. I tried calling because I did not want to publicly write a review and cause any damage. Unfortunately, no one was answering. I called repeatedly. Maybe I should've called every hour instead of every couple minutes. Rush hour for yall could be around 1 pm. Sorry I didn't spend my whole day trying to call or predict when you wouldn't be busy. I was extremely upset and tunnelvisioned. To the point: as I was eating, yes, EATING, your strawberry glazed donut, I found a small hair. Now, I know you allow dogs. So, I will whole heartedly assume it was a dog's hair and not a human pubic hair. Btw, I do not own a dog. Or any curly haired animal. I hope in the photos you can see the hair color difference. No one who lives in this house has light brown hair. We're all dark brown. Mind you, this was discovered right after I had opened the box, so there was no time for anyone in this house to bring friends over and enjoy what typically is a delicious feast. I would actually really like you to know how upsetting this is. Your donuts are lovely. I am a fan, but as of now, I am having to force myself not to puke. If this was a long strand of hair, I don't think I would be so upset. But this short piece of hair looks like a pubic, human hair. I would run a DNA test, but I need more than just one hair. I hate admitting this, but I also felt the hair. The hair was coarse. It genuinely felt like a pubic thing. Anyways, the theory of it being dog hair is somewhat keeping me sane.

We ordered delivery of a classic dozen. We are new in town so thought we would try this place out. The donuts are huge! They were beautiful and flavorful. I mean like melt in your mouth flavorful. They are kind of like if a croissant and a donut had a baby. They were packaged well and we saw no problems with quality resulting from the delivery. We will definitely order or visit again.

Yum. Donuts better than what you're used to. Also a great selection of coffee. Bonus: military discount.

I love these donuts. They're more like croissant donuts (cronuts). My favorite is the Sandy Beach donut. It's powder sugar and cinnamon. Highly recommend.

The donuts are top notch. The best in Fleming Island. I got the apple pie donut which was amazing. I am sorry I didn't get to take a picture.

One of the best donut places in Jacksonville! The shop is small but very clean, cute, and the customer service is outstanding! There is outside seating as well! We went about 45 minutes prior to closing because my dad wanted donuts. I promise we usually don't ever come that late before closing! Even if they were out of a lot of flavors, they were able to make us some fresh ones, if we asked for it! The girls up front were so friendly, happy, kind, and gave us such positive vibes. I'm a naturally happy person and their warm, happy smiles made our day! These donuts are massive and very fluffy! The texture is like between cronut and a brioche donut and the dough layered. There are a lot of variety too! You can get topped, filled, keto, vegan, and gluten free donuts as well! They don't skimp on the toppings and when I opened the box of freshly made donuts, my eyes were huge! My mouth watered so much that my mom had to hand me a napkin haha. They also had cafe drinks and I will come back to try them! We got the following flavors: French toast, raspberry jam, strawberry shortcake, blueberry hill, caramel bliss, cookies and cream, and honey glazed. Let me tell you, ALL of them were at least a 9.7/10. Nothing was overly sweet or overwhelming and you can taste all the fresh toppings on the donuts! The donuts weren't stale at all too! We literally finished the whole box of donuts in ONE night. Once you taste one, it's game over and you have to finish the whole donut! I'll admit, it can get rich at times but pair it with a glass of milk and everything balances out perfectly. Please come try this donut place out! It's definitely worth the hype and a good bang for your buck!

I was looking for a local cafe while I was in the area, and found this lovely doughnut shop that recently opened. Their cafe menu has a nice selection of tea and coffee drinks. I was able to add lavender syrup to my iced matcha, and it was delicious! They have so many yummy doughnuts to choose from, which made it hard for me to settle on one. I was torn between the coconut cream and the raspberry pistachio, but I ordered the latter. The outside was so light and crispy, and the inside was doughy and soft. They also have vegan, gluten-free, and keto options. The staff was wonderful, along with the food and drinks. There is also plenty of seating inside and outside. So happy I decided to stop in today!

Best doughnuts out there. We drive from Orange Park to get them. The coffee is amazing too. Highly recommend for a sweet treat.

I usually love coming here for the doughnuts and a little beverage the service is usually amazing but today i simply had to turn around and leave. The two employees there a girl and a guy had a friend come in and was giving her money from a safe or something? Or showing her money from a safe. It was several minutes before closing sure but i've come in often and i know what i wanted to order. I also didn't want to bother asking them to wash their hands after handling cash. I love the drinks and doughnuts but i didn't want to spend money and drink my nice beverage while peeved. Service industry... i personally drop any conversation i'm having the moment a customer even walks in the door. This was.. not good. Super disappointing! Like not even one of you could take my order ? My family loves these doughnuts so we'll be back but this was such a bummer. This was our second visit of the day.

Love these donuts as it's evident from the past reviews I have left Came in today for some seasonal apple minis and I was shocked they only had 4 left at 9am! When I tell you people come in very early to get their fix I am not lying, worth waking up early for them! Luckily they had some of the other minis left including my all time favorite coconut filled ones. Kudos to miss Jenn for making my little 3 year old fill like a superstar with all her awesome comments and conversation with her. The world would be a better place with more Jenn's around! Hopefully I am spelling her name right.

Excellent service and donuts. We tried the blueberry and the sandy beach both great. The latte was best one I ever had we got coconut. Incredible I highly recommend.

Parlor Doughnuts offers up some of the absolute best in Jax. The texture is amazing. It's like a croissant donut, so light and fluffy. It's certainly different. The selection is pretty large, too. Aside from the delicious donuts, they also have sausages biscuits and a couple other items. Their coffee is actually really good as well. We had the maple latte. It had good flavor and wasn't overly sweet. They also have Keto donuts and vegan donuts. This is a fairly new location. It's next to Pearle Vision. There is plenty of parking, so it's easy to access. Overall this is a great Parlor location.

Seasoned so flawlessly I'm convinced a culinary fairy godmother tapped it with her wand. And that salmon sandwich? BABY. It didn't surprise me-- it snatched my wig, slid on my heels, and strutted across the table like it owned the establishment. I wasn't ready. I wasn't worthy. That portion was enormous, that cut was elegant, and I nearly applauded when it arrived. Service? Oh, darling. Legendary. I'm almost certain his name was Josh. The man glided over like he had cues, marks, and a script. Attentive without hovering, charming without trying, helpful without hustling. A hospitality KING. Give that man a crown and a raise. I've eaten my way through this sandwich menu like it was my personal world tour--and guess what? I'm starting back at the top for the encore. The fries? ICONIC. Crisp, golden, irresistible. If you order the chicken sandwich, do yourself a spiritual favor: put that ketchup down like it just insulted your mother, and grab a small cup of that sauce on your chicken for dipping. Your taste buds will ascend and you'll thank me later. Now... the Paloma. My God. That drink sashayed onto the scene sparkling with grapefruit glamour and citrus attitude. It wasn't just flavorful--it was flavorful with FEELINGS. Bright, bold, bodacious. Still, I'd come back and try more things. I also tried the chocolate banana thing (muffin? Donut? Cupcake.) and found it pretty disappointing. The cake part itself is good, very moist. Too moist to be a donut or a muffin, so it must be a cupcake, which is weird considering the shape. The icing was awful. It's so overpoweringly sweet it doesn't taste like chocolate or banana, just sugar. If you don't scrape it off, it makes the whole thing way too sweet.

The bartender seemed to favor the regulars there and it was about 10 minutes before I received a menu despite not being all that busy. Eventually I was able to put in my order for a draft beer and a Chicken Cordon Bleu sandwich. Surprisingly, the sandwich doesn't include a side of any kind at the price point of $15 even though handhelds and burgers on the regular menu do include sides. I inquired about purchasing fries, but was told that they were unavailable for the brunch period. There wasn't much else available that wasn't more of a breakfast food aside from hummus or tapas. The sandwich came out in a reasonable amount of time from when it was ordered. While tasty with a combination of sweet, salty, and savory from the ham, chicken, and swiss, I thought it could have been better given the price. The value was just not there without a side. I'd consider coming back for their normal menu period, but don't think I'd return for brunch.

The cafe is more on the smaller side but it's cozy and the customer service is always happy and friendly! When you walk inside, there's a hot bar with all the food items available that day. You can check their Facebook page for their menu each day! You can get combos like an entree and a side, two entrees and a side, etc. On the shelves near the windows, there are local Filipino desserts like crinkles, puto (rice cake), flan, etc for sale. They also sell mac salad in the fridge and some dried fish on the shelves. What I love about this cafe is that they have a small snacks/drinks/candy market next to the dining area. The dining area is a good size and faces the parking lot. On this particular Saturday, we had the following entrees and sides: Lechon (roasted pig), Kaldereta (Filipino beef stew), and some rice! The lechon pieces were big and the skin (my fav!) was crispy, salty, and golden! The meat was also juicy and not dry. What I like to do is dip the meat into some white vinegar to give it some acidity since the lechon is on the heavy side after a few bites. The Kaldereta was hearty, rich, flavorful and it reminded me of an elevated beef stew. The potatoes and carrots literally melted in my mouth! I gave my combo plate a 8.5/10! My husband had Humba (braised pork belly that is slow cooked in soy sauce, vinegar, garlic, bay leaves, fermented black beans, and sugar) and he thoroughly enjoyed it. He shared some pieces of it with me and it was smooth as butter. It was sweet and salty and his rice soaked up all the sauces. Definitely a must try! I would give it a 9/10 because the flavors were so rich and it made me want even more! The prices are reasonable for how much food you're getting! They also sell desserts like halo halo (shaved iced with fresh fruits, taro ice cream, toppings like flan, condensed milk, jellies, beans, etc.) I've personally had the halo halo and it's one of my favorites! Super refreshing on a hot summer day. They also sell mango and taro flavored cakes but you have to call in advance for whole cakes. Their cakes are light, delicious, and fluffy! I especially enjoy the mango cake because you get chunks of fresh, champagne mangoes on and inside the cake. We've been coming here for years and don't plan on stopping. My husband is a bit of a Filipino food snob at times, but Lola's definitely has a special place in his heart! They do military discounts too, FYI!
