First and foremost, we had the very best service from Cassie!!! We were a table of 10 and lots of questions, preferences, etc. Cassie was on top of it from the first moments, all the way thru dinner, no drinks ever went empty, and she promptly processed our checks. So many things were ordered at our table and I only got a few pictures. The pretzels and beer cheese was amazing. My son and husband shared a meat lovers pizza and a few Blue Moons -they were very pleased with their food. I had some of the spinach artichoke dip - which was very tasty. I did wish it was served with tortilla chips vs bread - but, it was still great. I ordered the Cobb salad was very good - I was not impressed with the ranch dressing tho - that type of salad really needs a creamier buttermilk type ranch dressing. Didn't stop me from eating it with bleu cheese dressing tho My friend had a small pepperoni pizza which she said was great! I love the Thai Die pizza but there is so many good choices. This place always seems to be understaffed. We have been here 3 times so far and every time they are running around like chickens with their heads cut off. They do a fantastic job but I think they need more staff. We went on a Friday night and had to wait a long time while there was several tables we could have sat at. We sat and it seemed like they forgot our order in the shuffle. We have been to this location several times over the past few years and the food has always been great! We love their garlic flavored crust and the mushroom trio is always mouth watering with pepperoni if you're into mushrooms. My son ordered a cheeseburger and we couldn't believe how flavorful and delicious it was coming from a "pizza place." We also love their bar and drink selection. Service is great and the restrooms are clean which is always a good sign. Ordered a large to go pizza from here on a Monday night. The estimate wait time was about 25 to 30 minutes. It was ready when I came to pick it up. If you don't get a specialty pizza actually feel like the prices are pretty reasonable. It was also incredibly delicious! We got half mushroom and half pepperoni and if I wasn't so full from a couple pieces, I would've eaten the whole pie. We didn't stay inside to eat, but the place slept pretty cute and was actually kind of full for a Monday evening. They had both outdoor and indoor seating - family friendly from what I could tell. Absolutely obsessed with their Greek salad, this from someone who despises salads and vegetables. The Esperanza dressing that goes with it is absolutely divine. We picked Mellow Mushroom as a midway location to gather for a casual lunchtime visit with family over the holidays. It has a large pleasant outdoor patio, parking is easy and the chain serves fairly consistent food. Service was a bit slow and yet slow service is the new normal and certainly preferable to poor food. Our server was kind and attentive, checking in with us to explain waits for drinks and our various courses. A round of pretzel bites turned out to be pizza dough bites. Happily the dough is warm, yeasty and delicious. The accompanying cheese and marina sauces were good but unnecessary. The bites lead into a round of salads. The Enlightened spinach salad was the true crowd pleaser. Every bite was good one thanks to dried cherries and candied pecans and a pomegranate açaí dressing. The salads gave way to pizzas with fresh ingredients and a yeasty light crust, meat ball and grilled chicken sandwiches. The meatball sandwich, eaten with a fork, received rave reviews. The meatballs were 'perfect' . The grilled chicken sandwich was a little more pedestrian and consumed in its entirety. I had the portobello mushroom with artichokes, roasted tomatoes spinach and mozzarella. It was served with mixed greens. I loved it and ate every bite. The greens weren't dressed so I bummed some vinaigrette and all was well. Overall a good meal on a nice patio with kind service! read more

This is a home run if you're looking for great food and superlative service! The atmosphere is fun and the food comes out within a very reasonable time and is wonderful. We had lunch here and enjoyed it sitting on their open outdoor patio, but I really wanted to sit inside so I could see more of the restaurant; the little bit I did see was pretty groovy. I haven't been to Mellow Mushroom in years. The last time was at the Southside location and it was amazing! So this is my first time in Fleming. It's really nice inside and seems bigger than the other one I went to. We got there when they first opened so it was not busy. We were seated quickly and got our drinks within like 2 minutes. Our waiter was very nice. Our pizza came out pretty fast and looked amazing! The cheese pull was everything! The pizza was good, but I noticed a change in the taste. The crust is different, almost like some type of wheat? It was brown in color on the inside. I'm used to pizza crust being white on the inside. It also did not taste like white bread. The cheese is also different. Once it started to cool down it got very gummy. Almost too gummy. It also tasted nothing like what it used to. I remember it used to be the best pizza with good quality ingredients, but now it's just okay. I may or may not give them another try. read more

To be honest, we didn't end up ordering from this respected eatery, but we felt it was important to leave a positive review given how accommodating and gracious the management was. We were trying to figure out a way to send a custom order to some dear friends in this lovely part of Florida, and were having no luck finding an upscale pizzeria that would deliver. But we lucked out here ... and after about 20 minutes of figuring out timing and menu, were able to set up some thing for a future order.
