I truly have no words. Just the thought of glimpsing at this astronomical Dunkin Donuts is enough to get me off my meds for a week. Every single morning, when I am inevitably hungover, this store is here for me without judgement. Whether it's 5,6, or 7 AM, this chain is always serving me with some perfectly mediocre iced coffee. I love it. The comforting enviorment of this establishment is beyond figment, and quite inspiring. During desperate hours when it really matters, this Dunkin delivers time and time again. Dunkin' donuts on route 55 in Poughquag NY (Dutchess County) is by far the absolute worst Dunkin' donuts establishment I've ever been in. The staff is literally clueless and asleep at the wheel. I waited 20 minutes for a small cold brew black and two egg and cheese wake up wraps, all the while they were taking orders behind me serving them and they were out the door in 3 minutes or less. It wasn't until I lost my shit right in front of a store full of people had put my foot up the manager's ass that I got served my order 20 minutes later. Both young girls behind the counter will literally asleep on their feet. One of them I spoke to three times about my order and she still never put it in. The manager was also a nasty bitch that gave me a dirty look when when I reacted the way I did. The dumbass should train her help to be awake on a Sunday morning. 'nuff said. read more

I've never worked at a dunkin so I'm unsure as to how exactly the food is made but I'm pretty sure it's just putting it in a super toaster basically. I've never ever been to any place that struggles to figure out how to cook let alone heat up food. They were horrible before the renovation now I have been there after the renovation twice and if possible they are worse. To say the service is slow is an understatement even on days that they are properly staffed. Most times they are working with a skeleton crew, often disheveled and always rude or indifferent. 2 weeks ago I waited for 3 PLAIN bagels for over 30 minutes. This morning I waited almost 15 min to even be acknowledged only to hear that the grills are down. Wow. 2 trips and the grills were down both times. No Sign up, nothing. I walked out this morning furious. Went to a DD a bit further and was in/out in less time than it took me to even be acknowledged at this place. This location is hit or miss. Sometimes the coffee is great and then sometimes I get a large cup of ice and straight cream. It's very disappointing. Don't even bother getting a bagel here- absolutely disgusting. Not only that but I'll ask for a light toast and the bagel will be crispy and nearly burnt.. although there are a few friendly employees there, most of them are just busy chatting and never get the order right. Honestly the worst run Dunkin donuts I've ever frequented. Many of the staff have such a lazy attitude, from the way they answer the intercom to the stuff they spew when you are at the drive they window. They clearly hate their job and it shows. Line is slowwwww, and they mess up often. Not all employees but it seems most of the them. My advice to the owner/manager/supervisor: Take a drive down to the Dunkin at Pawling. That place runs so efficiently and they are PROFESSIONAL. You never hear them curse and complain about their job, schedule, pay. That's all reflective of poor leadership. I came in to get my morning breakfast before work and i wasn't aware of the mandate that passed about masks and i was told to put on a mask even though the EMPLOYEES don't have a mask on. how are they gonna make and touch our food but don't have a mask on themselves. This Dunkin Donuts is the worst I have ever been to. It is very close to my house and is inside the gas station so I have, somehow, talked myself into multiple purchases from this place. The food you order is ALWAYS cold. Even when I asked them to make sure it's hot, they gave me a cold sandwich. I just gave it back to them in disgust and requested a refund. They hire unconcerned children to work who have even gotten my coffee orders wrong. Some of them have been very nice, but being nice has nothing to do with me getting a cold coffee and a hot sandwich. How does one fail to use a microwave? Just don't bother. Worse service I've ever had at a Dunkin. This is the second time I've been there and the service was even slower than the last time. 4-5 people running around behind the counter and no one paying any attention to the fact that I'm standing there. And I had made sure they noticed there was a customer. Everyone basically ignored me. It was like no one was actually assigned to ****waiting on customers****. If I hadn't said something I'd probably still be standing there. One guy *had* noticed, mumbled to a girl that there was a customer, and she basically ignored what he said. So he just continued what he was doing like, oh well. Ridiculous. And the first time I was there, they were taking orders at the pick up end, which meant the guy had to take my card and run it through the machine back there....so he touched my card. I strongly believe that not a single person who works there actually cares about their job. They are all chatty teens who curse and yell at the other teens who work there. On several occasions I have seen absolutely no donuts or they were extremely stale. Also, a regular hot chocolate with whipped cream apparently ALWAYS translates to them as whatever flavor they want to give me. Mint, salted caramel YUCK! I had to get in the habit of opening the lid to smell it because I always got stuck with their disgusting flavored hot chocolate. The service is so poor and I've given up buying anything from there.
