    Pup cup

Update: Management was nice enough to reach out, shows good customer service. Also our last visit yesterday the employee was very sweet and offered my dog a pup cup, random kindness like that is appreciated. Seems like a few of the employees have changed the last couple weeks and things are running smoother. Fingers crossed it stays well oiled :)

Bagel with a smidge of cream cheese. I'd be fine with it if they had taken a smidgen-of the price of the cream cheese.

I know Dunkin' isn't 5 's but come on. Have pride in the service you provide to others. This morning made me creat this account. I will now hold establishments accountable for the services they provided. Todays D&D trip included a frozen egg ( quite literally ), which I had to turn around after leaving and get back in line and do it all over again. Guess what, cold egg again. This however was not the reason for this rant. My bagel with cream cheese they I ordered looked malnourished itself. Poor bagel. I wish I could have fed my bagel a better bagel to beef it up a bit. Picture below, come on. HAVE PRIDE IN YOUR WORK. DO BETTER DUNKIN'

The Pine Bush Dunkin drive-thru is a train wreck. Plan on spending 20 minutes or more in a 4 car line. Hire more staff and pay them better.

Ordered just a large black coffee. Nothing complicated or special. It tasted awful. I was very disappointed.

Once, on our way out of the city for our Upstate getaway then a second time heading back home. The flavors were unreal. Even something as pedestrian as a strawberry sprinkles donut tasted award-winning. This was one of my favorite bites, and that's surprising coming from someone who really orders it. In fact, the last time I got that donut was probably when I was a child. Unlike most shops, the frosting was, indeed, strawberry flavored and not just some bullshit icing with pink dye. They also offered novel combinations, like coconut lychee and a pecan donut that had the most complex profile: sweet, smokey, with a slight funk. I've never tasted anything like it. The flavors strangely worked well together. The brown butter donut was the pièce de résistance. It was wonderfully sweet and salty, reminiscent of a butterscotch square. I felt greedy, wanting to buy a box to take home. I didn't, and now I wonder - did I make a mistake? Should I have listened to my basest desires? Might Donuts gave me something to long for.

These are VEGAN donuts, however you could've fooled me!…read more My husband wanted to give this place a try while we were here for the weekend and I'm glad he did his research! They are crazy popular, so there was already a line outside when we arrive 5 minutes before opening on a sunny summer Sunday morning. Wow! That's always a good sign. We waited in line for about 25 minutes total, which wasn't terrible. They have sooo many choices, and we ended up choosing the Strawberry Crumb Cake and the Old Fashioned Chocolate Crumb. The Strawberry one was fluffy and had a jam filling, which was deliciously fruity. The chocolate one was absolutely incredible!! It was a classic "cake donut", meaning that it was super dense in texture. It reminded me of a brownie, however not too overwhelming chocolatey. Even though they say they're open until 3pm, they are clear about being open "until sold out". I asked the guy behind the counter and he said that they will often sell out by 1-2pm in the summer. By 12pm they typically have very limited options left. He also mentioned that the line will often start forming around 9am, a full hour before the place opens. I find that to be a bit extreme... There's very little seating inside (just two small tables), so I highly recommend that you take your donuts to go. If it's a nice day out, walk around the corner and grab a seat at a picnic table! Lastly, they have a huge "WARNING: FOOD ALLERGY" sign on their door that I highly recommend you read if you have any type of food allergies. I like that they're up front about it and suggest you not consume their donuts if you have specific types of allergies. If you're in town visiting, it's definitely worth giving this place a try!

It reminded me of something milk bar used to make. Love that they gave both yeast and cake donuts and that they bake everything in house! Walking inside, it's a different experience at Wright's Farm. This visit, I want to buy a bottle of local wine and some local cheese then go back to the hotel. I see there is a very nice selection of Hudson Valley and regional wines. I also buy a nice local, spreadable cheese along with some crackers. I noticed towards the back, I see a wall of homemade jams. And they're all packaged in these cute mason jars! Strawberry Jelly is a must but then we went a little nutzo with a few more jam flavors as well as homemade apple sauces, fresh cheeses and pickles! Sunday, its check out time and we're heading back to Long Island after breakfast. My wife said we need to go shopping for dinner today. I said, Let's go back to Wright's Farm and pick up dinner? And this was the highlight of our trip. In the cold cases, I see homemade ravioli, one of the stuffings was corn? I had plans to stop in The Bronx and get a few boxes of Raviolis. I gambled and said lets try their corn ravioli. O.M.G. This ravioli was fantastic! My wife made it with fresh sage from our herb garden. It was a little pricey but it was better than anything I had this year. For the week, we bought a large ham steak and a ham hock for pea soup. I saw something interesting, a black futsu squash? I told my wife, lets buy one and take a chance. Amazing! My wife cooked this squash and it came out deelish. Dessert? My sons inhaled the apple cider doughnuts we bought home for them. Wright's Farm, it was a pleasant surprise to discover your local farmstand.
