The next day Saturday the 20th, I took a box of the cookies and the Pineapple cake to my brothers. I took the cake out of the box. Not only was it stale, but when my sister-in-law cut the cake, underside was covered in BLACK MOLD! Imagine my embarrassment for bringing stale moldy cake to give to brother and his family! I was thinking about going back with the cake and asking for a refund. But for the $10.00 I paid for it, it's not worth the aggravation. But that's the first and last time I go to Torino's. Apparently, they'll leave shit in the case to go stale and moldy and sell it to some sucker who walks into the place and buys it. That's no way to do business and maybe the health department should take a look at what's going on at Torino's bakery.

I can't remember the last time I was insulted by an employee for no reason. This is all about the…read moreolder woman with the tattoos. I go in and order my food. Everything was totally fine and normal until I asked for a receipt. Employee: Why, is someone buying your food? Me: Yes actually (my mother in law was paying for the food, she was sitting in the car) Employee: Oh, do they buy your clothes too? Me: No? Employee: Well you should work on that. Now I kinda laughed it off and left. I was working in my yard so my shirt had some dirt on it. The entire ride home I was trying to give her the benefit of the doubt that she didn't mean anything rude by it. I was talking to my family going over every possible interpretation of what she could have meant. But after reading several reviews about how rude she is, I have accepted that she was literally insulting my appearance and the way I looked. I honestly can't remember the last time someone was rude just to be rude. Also, please know that I will be contacting the BBB, making an entire post about it on the Wallkill/Walden Facebook groups and Neighborhoods. The fact that there are so many bad reviews about this one person and she is still there tells me that either management simply doesn't care or she is the owner. I will do my part in making sure everyone knows to never go to this place ever again.
