This is minus the mouth full i already spit out.

This is usually my go to Dunkins after my sons karate but today they failed me! I will admit they are great at following my cream and sugar request but today they scarred me for life! My small coffee was getting me through my dragging morning of a late night and early morning start sipping along just great and then I reach the bottom of my cup to be greeted with a mouth full of coffee grinds that made me gag and scared me half to death while driving as to what in H E double hockey sticks just entered my mouth. Like how does this even happen, can't risk that again so I will be heading North for my Dunkin's from here on out.

Every. Single. Time! Is there no other way to put donuts in a bag other than upside down? So freaking aggravating.

Customer service leaves a lot to be desired. I made an online order and went to the drive-through to pick it up. And they gave me the wrong order. I ordered a croissant sandwich, they gave me a bagel sandwich. I took the order back to the restaurant and the employee told me that I grabbed the wrong bag. I grabbed the wrong bag that she handed me out the drive-through window! Unbelievable. But, what I have come to expect from La Plata.... No common sense and no customer service. Also, it never fails that they put the donuts in the bag upside down so the icing sticks to the side of the bag.

I come to this Dunkin' Donuts often in the morning cause it's on my way to work, and it's very quick. There's almost always no line, and I'm in and out within a few minutes. But for something so simple, there's enough cons to lower my rating for this location to just 2 stars. First, I got a breakfast sandwich from here once and there was a black hair in it. I know accidents happen, but it's just gross!!! Second, I still get Iced coffee from here all the time, but for some reason they don't stir the sugar in ! Every single time my first gulp is a gulp of sugar grains... gross. And the straw is not strong enough to stir the entire coffee because of the ice. I'll still come here because I love their iced coffee, but usually I'll just go to chick fil a unless I'm low on time.

Zoom in and look at the bagel in the top left-hand corner. Towards the base of the bagel you can clearly see the long piece of plastic!

So disappointed! The doughnut was less than fresh! It was definitely not made fresh that day.

More like 3 and 1/2 Stars…read more I didn't purchase these these were provided for me at the job site. I liked the ube donut very creamy but it's not the style of donut that I enjoy. I prefer more cake based as opposed to filling style. The exception would be jelly filled but these cream filled ones just don't do it for me Overall I like the unique flavors that they have but it's not something that I see myself going out of my way to try again. I prefer donut connection.

We asked about the prices on the donuts and were a little concerned, but honestly figured they must be boutique. We decided on a half dozen donuts... regardless of the type of donut you got the price was the same. By noon, there were about 15 different donuts left that they had stock of. 4 vegan ones. The donuts are about the size of a baseball in circumference. Nowadays, social media is all about size and color, this place is extremely lacking in the size department. The best donut we tried from here was a vegan coconut one, and the bake on it was a slightly different texture than the other donuts. Honestly, the only reason this place got a second star is cuz of the coconut one. Texture was actually correct and not doughy. The other 5 donuts were as follows in order of taste and textures and actual baking: cinnamon n sugar, then everything with bacon, then Homer, then pandan, then Boston cream. I should have just made donuts at home with this place being as expensive as it was. The Boston cream custard was runny af, so either add a starch slurry or slow heat and actually make it simmer to make the custard cook correctly. Like you all know this, but you CANNOT charge 4.25$ per "specialty" donut and have very bad technique. The texture of all the donuts were somewhere between a light cake-like donut and a ball of raw dough. The Vietnamese coffee was meh. We will not be back. Next time, I will just go to Safeway and buy a half dozen of day old donuts that are randomly placed in a box and slightly better baked than this place and be reminded when I only pay 5$ for the box that I won't be as disappointed as I was on kevins birthday by stopping here. No pictures, I dont like having terrible memories on my phone. Waste of 31$ for a pick your own 6 pack and an iced pint of Vietnamese coffee. Jake n kev

Being from New York the…read morecronut is a staple- Freddy's got them beat in every way- the cronut itself is super light and crisp. The flakey buttery layers is heaven. The size of the cronut is huge compared to the Dominique Ansel one. Freddy's is the size of your hand where the other is a quarter size smaller. The cronut at Freddy's is also cheaper going at $4.25 versus $7.75 at Dominique Ansel. They come in glaze drizzle, chocolate and vanilla drizzle, maple drizzle and French toast. Cronuts not available or don't feel like a big cronut...ask if they have the cronut bites. They come in a set of three and you can get either glaze drizzle or cinnamon sugar. The size of their classic and specialty donuts are huge. We are talking easily can be sharable (if you want to). Currently the pricing of their donuts are: $1.95 house/ $2.75 specialty/$2.75 cake/ $3.25 monster filled. They have quite the creative list of flavors. No gluten free options though. Their donuts are light and flavorful. It's not overly sweet at all and well balanced. By their size you get your bang for your buck. If you want to get your choosing of flavors, it's better to go at the start of the day. Later in the day you chance that they could be sold out on flavors - especially if they are busy that day. The donuts are packed in whimsical boxes that are colorful and say "You Deserve A Donut." They also have drinks for purchase but we didn't grab any- maybe next time. On the wall they also have cute donut themed shirts with popular cartoons and characters like Bluey, Pikachu and Deadpool. There is limited parking around the shop. Otherwise plenty of street parking. We took our donuts to go but you can also dine there in front of the store where they have picnic tables. The building looks like it might have been a service gas station in the past. It's decorated with a snake mural and they also have neat drawings inside on their chalkboard menu. We will definitely be back since we have friends that live in the next town over who are also huge fan. 100% recommend this sweet place.

A random search for vegan donuts in Germantown led to this. I was surprised I'd never heard of it…read morebefore, but then I realized they don't have a storefront -- they run out of their house! So one random week I decided to contact them just to inquire about their prices, flavors and such (I found this info on their website). They actually didn't respond until over a week later, and I realized it was because they were out of the country! So they let me know when they would be returning and so I contacted them again then. By some insane twist of fate, the day they said to contact them also happened to be National Donut Day -- obviously a sign. It turns out they don't have delivery right now (probably because they just returned?) so I had to arrange a pickup. They're $4 a pop, so I decided to just get half a dozen: Cinnamon Sugar Chocolate Oreo Mango Pistachio Rose Raspberry Pina Colada I arrived at the house, waited a few minutes, and the man came to the door with the donut box in hand. The donuts looked awesome too! Then I went to my sister's and surprised them with vegan donuts for the special day -- great feedback all around. I didn't get to taste every single one, but the chocolate oreo, rose, mango pistachio and pina colada were delicious!! The flavors popped, the texture of the donut was light and had me not feeling too guilty, and they looked nice! It was totally unexpected to find a vegan donut spot so close to my sister, and to be family-run is lovely! They have an interesting history on their website, you should give it a read!

Was I serious? Absolutely! Menopause will do that! The glazed cronuts? Equally dangerous. I bought a dozen to share and somehow made it home with three and a story that started with, "They must have shorted me." Amazing staff. Incredible doughnuts. This is one of Lorton's hidden gems. But let me give you one piece of advice: Get there EARLY. Nothing hurts more than walking in with your heart set on an apple fritter, only to watch the person in front of you buy the last one. Baby, that's the kind of disappointment you think about all day. Buy extras. Trust me. These doughnuts will have you saying things you don't mean and protecting your box like it's family heirlooms. I didn't realize until after the fact that they carried Lavazza coffee. I'll have to try it next time! I think it's safe to say I pretty much finished the first donut before I even left the store! There's plenty in parking available, shared by neighboring stores. Would I return? If I am in the area? Yes!
