Everywhere I move I look for the best donut shop in the city. Since coming to Waldorf a year ago I have been somewhat disappointed that the best donuts were at...wait for it...a grocery store (Giant). Really?! Well I think that no longer. I drove past Donut Connection a few times but it didn't have that inviting look. But today I was blessed to get a chance to try a glazed donut while volunteering (someone bought a couple dozen). I always like to try a glazed first because it's a classic choice. Let me tell you, their glazed donut is excellent! It is moist and perfectly sweet without being too sweet. I think I have officially found Waldorf's best, and I'll definitely be stopping by on my next drive down Leonardtown Road. read more

Very cute shop with well crafted donuts. The owner is friendly and the assortment is unique, with yummy honey-dipped donuts.

Once you have a Donut Connection donut you won't want DD anymore, no comparison in freshness, and the customer service is on point.

The donuts sitting in the rack are soft and moist as if they were just made. The workers are very friendly and smile. The prices are pretty good but, the donuts are again moist and full of flavor. read more

I have been a near-daily customer of Donut Connection in Waldorf since the Summer of 2001 (nearly 25 years!). I love their coffee and their great doughnuts. My two favorites are the maple and honey chocolate. Super nice staff and great hours for the workers/commuters. Opening at 3:30 AM daily is very convenient. read more

Best donuts in Southern Maryland!!!!! This place is a gem!!!!! (Or dive some people may call it!) I love vanilla cream filled donuts and this place has the best. They are freshly made here at this location and delicious... lots of filling! The customer service is always great. Warning, they sell out out of certain flavors quickly, so get there early on the weekends. My husband loves the honey dip and the blueberry and crueler are yummy too! Best donut shop in Waldorf and LaPlata! The price is a bit higher than KK and DD however the quality is much higher $17.10 for a dozen i.e., the portion of the filling (custard, lemon, jelly) is fuller inside and the size is slightly bigger than of KK and DD. Excellent customer service and the lady at the counter is super nice - serves with a smile. The place is clean and seems popular in the area because there's always patrons inside buying donuts. My only advise is to get there early as the donut favorites (bavarian and boston cream) are always at shortage. Highly recommend this place to all fellow yelpers! read more

First time here! Ran by a sweet lady who keeps her business clean! Very sweet lady. Bought a dozen don't holes and two donuts for $7. What a steal. Went there at 2:40 pm on a Saturday and she still had a good selection of donuts to choose from. Visiting from PA and I will be coming back. Donuts are so pillowy soft and not too sugary sweet. This is the Best donut shop in the area the donut are big and fluffy and very tasty. If you get there early you can get donut holes they run out fast, all of the donuts are much better than Dunkin. They make them rite there unlike most Dunkins are brought in each morning made else where. This is a must stop at place anytime of the day you feel like a donut and some coffee. I say give it a try, you will NEVER be disappointed! As what they say "do not judge the book by its cover". The front of the store is kinda old and you will never thought if their donuts are worth a try. I was curious so went there on Sunday morning to see for myself. Need to wear mask before entering the store, it wasn't crowded, only one staff inside the store assisting customers. Downside they only accept cash, no credit cards at all. Their donuts prices are reasonably cheap, a dozen is like $10 and some change. The selections are alot! Can't name them all, but they have donuts that DD and KK doesn't have (from what I know). I love their Choc Crumble, honey dip and bavarian! Their donuts are not two diabetic sweet, it's fluffy and bigger in size! Bet they always make their donuts everyday, coz you can tell. Awesome donut place, with cheap prices! I wrote this review after finishing a maple glazed donut. Not only are these donuts better than other local competitors but the donuts go the extra mile when it comes to taste and texture. Their glazed donut is also tasty! Just enough sweetness but not overpowering. These donuts stay fresh for at least two days. Treat yourself or employees at the office you work at to a dozen of these. Go there every Saturday morning. Donuts are the best and coffee is good. Bagels are good also. Ladies behind the counter are very nice. It is cash only but the ATM is right in front of the cashier - you can"t miss it - you almost trip over it and it's only $1.50 fee. Nice place. read more

Even though the establishment in cash only and yes perish the thought of you having to use the ATM if you don't have any on you. For the friendly atmosphere and quality of donuts, this place is a hidden gem within the Waldorf area and blows other competitors out of the water with quality and taste. I don't get here early enought becaue the Blueberry cake donuts are amazing and only get to pick 2 or 3 at most when we arrive. They have a nice area to sit down with your family and enjoy your food and drinks. They have a ton of selection and the employees are down to earth and talk to your kids and actually want to know about you as a customer. So I urge you to ignore reviews from people like Jerry who rate on a 1* because they don't agree with the business not wanting to accept credit card transactions.
