One day I came to this location and there were 2 employees standing out back by the drive thru smoking marijuana, while I sat in my vehicle waiting for someone to acknowledge that I was in drive thru. This has to be the most poorly designed Krispy Kreme I have ever seen. I have no idea why they made this location with a drive through because it's barely accessible. The parking lot in general can barely hold 10 cars. Essentially illegally parking and walking in is better than snaking the parking lot to where the drive thru entry is. Three cars in and you're blocking everything. With 3 people working (drive thru lane, making donuts and the register) expect lots if waits if you are not the only patron. Yes I do love a good ole Krispy Kreme but every location doesn't live up to par. This location was slow inside but still were taking forever to take orders so the small amount of customers that were waiting inside were wondering why. Thinking maybe the drive Thur would be better....think again, it's even slower. I was in the drive this line over 5 mins with cars wrapping around because they were going so slow. Not sure if they are short staff or if they are just slow. I have never witnessed this type of service at a Krispy Kreme's so I was just shocked. Beside the wait the two dozen of original glaze I order were hot and fresh when I received them. So that was quite positive! The employees were pleasant for the most part but one of the guys you can tell isn't a people person. He was very short with me and no expression at all. Not everyone enjoys people as much as I do but I would suggest he smiles just a tad! However I visited the Waldorf location today at 530pm and asked if they had two dozen glazed donuts and the employees pointed to a cart behind the counter. Since they refused to sell me what they had in inventory I stated I would just buy them from Dunkin and was immediately mocked and cursed. SO THEY are going to sell jelly, chocolate sprinkle and lemon donuts only from 6 to 10PM for however ping those few last. Ridiculous. WTH?! We've been here for 12 years and patiently waiting and the day has finally come!! We finally have a Krispy Kreme in Southern Maryland woot woot! We waited a couple weeks to hopefully let the donut hysteria die down a little but when in fully expecting a line out the door...we were pleasantly surprised when we got there. Sure the drive thru line was around the building but the inside area was perfectly fine. In fact we had no wait at all...pretty crazy for a Saturday at 8:30 a.m. I was a little disappointed that the hot donut light was not lit up when we were there and that they were out of a few flavors (my favorite the chocolate old fashioned. I was told they'll have that flavor in a few weeks, not sure what the deal with that is) I'm actually wondering if they had made any of the donuts there or if they were shipped in from maybe another location. They had all the donuts in silver racks/tray holder things that were wrapped up like they had been transported there. Either way they were still very good and I was glad to have them! The long-awaited Krispy Kreme has finally come to Waldorf. They've got a fairly convenient location right on 301 as you're heading north out of Waldorf. They only opened a few days ago so the newly opened excitement is still buzzing in the store. They had a huge staff working and they were all busy. I waited in a short line but several people asked me if I had been helped yet while I was in line so they are really focused on moving the line quickly. The dining room looked clean and well stocked on coffee supplies, napkins and such. I got two hot donuts and there is just not much that compares to a hot off the line Krispy Kreme doughnut! They are so delicious and just melt in your mouth!! We will definitely have to restrain ourselves with one in Waldorf now and just make it once in a while treat. read more

When I saw the "hot" light on, I stopped by the drive thru for a 3 pack of glazed donuts and a cup of coffee. I was pleasantly surprised to receive 3 warm donuts (I've been to this location in the past and did not receive warm donuts when the light was on). The donuts were nothing but sugary goodness but the coffee?...not so much. The coffee tasted old and burnt. Adding 5 creams and a spoon of sugar to a small coffee did not help. This location is consistently the worst I've ever been to. I've tried multiple times, giving it chance after chance and they never fail at providing the worst service. This very last time on June 17th 2023 at 1015pm, I went to the drive thru, it took 3 minutes for sometime to come on the intercom. They stopped me half way though my order saying hold on....I waited 5 minutes (no exaggeration and also keep in mind there were NO CUSTOMERS! They finally said come to the window (again not even finishing my order). While I waited at the window waiting for them to finish my order, 2 girls comes in, talking to the cashier, not buying anything. I Can see them thru the window just chatting way with the guy at the register (again not buying anything). The looked at me, but didn't acknowledge me at all. Waited about 8 minutes, still these people were just chatting not acknowledging or finishing the order. Just disrespectful, horrible service. THIS LOCATION NEEDS TO CLOSE DOWN!!!!
