I'm going to keep this short and simple. The shaved ice was amazing with so many flavors. The service was incredible and the manager was nice. And when I tell you that joint was clean as soap, I mean it. read more

I went on a Saturday afternoon and this place was packed, ppl were standing everywhere. It was about 95 degrees outside and there was NO AC inside. We were literally sweating in there and it's not like ppl can wait in their cars because you won't know when your order is ready. They had long lines insides and long drive thru lines. The servers/cashiers were nice though. But they are VERY VERY VERY SLOW! each order took no LESS than 20 mins, I'm not lying... 20 minutes per snow cone order... in a building with no AC. Oh and since so many ppl were waiting, there were no seats so we were crowded just waiting... it was uncomfortable. I ordered a blue coconut and it was so overfilled that I couldn't walk without spilling it all over my hands and the floor. Honestly it didn't really have a flavor. They also don't have marshmallows as an add on. It was about $8 for a small. Not worth it. I didn't even finish it. This place really makes me miss pelican snoballs! read more

A new, refreshing treat has arrived in SOMD... Bahama Buck's, welcome to the Dorf! The anticipation was obvious: long lines, a packed parking lot, and steady foot traffic, that's how the community greeted this new cool-treat spot. On my first visit, I had to turn away. The crowd was just too much to navigate. A few days later, I made my return... still busy, but far more manageable. The decor leans into a cozy Bahamian vibe, anchored by plenty of turquoise blue. The staff welcomes you the moment you walk in, with a chorus of hellos. The menu is stacked with chilled and frozen options. I went with the mango-watermelon smoothie, and it did not disappoint. Pricing is in line with Tropical Smoothie Cafe, but the variety here is on another level. It's easy to see this becoming a go-to hangout for local high schoolers. If you're familiar with Beverly Hills, 90210, think the The Peach Pit. Recommendation level: If you like cool treats, Bahama Buck's is a must. read more

Bahama Buck's - Waldorf - strawberries & cream w chamoy - Juice Bars & Smoothies Near Me - Waldorf, Maryland

Bahama Bucks has been an excellent addition to the Waldorf Area. The owner Christopher has a great heart and runs a clean shop! I've enjoyed our conversations and his vision for the business. All the staff are friendly! As for the desserts, I haven't had one I haven't liked yet! My favorites so far are Strawberry Goes Bananas, Royal Princess with Bahama Rama, and Peach Cobbler. Warning, they are huge. I never thought I would order a baby sized anything but their baby is easily a medium or regular anywhere else and their small is a large. read more

OBSESSED!!! This place is hands down my family FAV! I'm literally here weekly if not multiple times a week. It reminds me of home (Texas) SO much. The staff is so kind and amazing. Keep up the great work! read more

From the moment we walked in, we had a great experience. The shop was clean, and the customer service was excellent. The employee who helped us was very friendly and even offered us samples before we ordered, which was a nice touch. I ordered the Sour Patch Kids Blue Raspberry, and it was delicious! Overall, everything exceeded my expectations. I would definitely come back and highly recommend Bahama Buck's to anyone looking for a tasty treat and great customer service. read more

This place is not the one I ordered a super sour green apple and I could get more flavor and sourness from a lemonade than that. My husband only had the flavor on the top half way through no flavor please save your money read more

I wanted to leave an update informing everyone that after the scam Bahama bucks ran, they indeed DID NOT contact me as they stated they would in their reply. Countless deceptive practices here. read more

I'm disappointed with my recent experience. I've been a regular customer at this location since it opened, visiting about once a week, but this visit was unacceptable. I waited in the drive-thru line for over an hour, only to reach the window at 10:02 PM and be told they had already closed at 10:00 PM and were no longer accepting orders. There were still about 10 cars behind me--many of whom had also been waiting just as long. Closing right at 10 PM without honoring the line of customers already waiting is extremely frustrating and feels disrespectful of customers' time. Unfortunately, experiences like this make it hard to continue supporting this location. I hope management takes a closer look at how closing time is handled to avoid this happening to others. read more

I finally tried Bahama Buck's in Waldorf and I'm mad I didn't go sooner. The ice is super smooth--like a mix between a slushie and an Icee, but way better with their own twist. The flavors actually taste real, not watered down, and they have a ton of options to choose from. The ambience is super fun and tropical--it honestly feels like a mini vacation when you walk in. Bright colors, beachy vibes, and just an overall chill, happy atmosphere that makes you want to stay and hang out. What really stood out though was the customer service. Everyone was friendly, patient, and made the whole experience even better. You can tell they care about the customers, which makes a big difference. If you're anywhere near Waldorf and want something cold and refreshing, this place is 100% worth it. Definitely coming back. read more

Such a great vibe! My niece convinced me to check this place out, but I was hesitant at first since I'm not a big fan of shaved ice/snow cones. The store is very bright and welcoming, and the staff were upbeat and friendly. The owner Christopher (I believe that was his name, I glanced at his name tag) was funny and very accommodating. The "SNO" was amazing! I was honestly pleasantly surprised. We had the Strawberry Cheesecake Delight, and ate the whole thing. Can't wait to go back and try the other flavors- keep up the great work! read more

Decided to take my baby here because I been seeing it on TikTok and she wanted a sweet treat. one of my biggest pet peeves is bad customer service. when u walk in you should be greeted. if it's a full staff on the floor there should be someone at the register taking orders not watching people come in but don't speak and let u stand there for a long time b4 you finally flag someone down to come take your order read more

I don't know if it was the manager or the owner but the darskin guy walking around helping and critiquing all his employees was very rude . He was very unprofessional and not welcoming at all . Good snow cone though read more

Loved the cotton candy snow great service was respectful and all will come back again

Me and My coworker decided we wanted to try the smoothie place next door and everything was well when we first came in until we were ready to order. we asked for someone to help and one of the staff members were ready to come and help but whoever in charge or the manager in charge was very passive aggressive towards the staff members and also me and my friend. the manager said to the staff member "oh now you want to work" as the staff member was getting to the register and he came to the register instead. took my order everything was smooth but afterwards out of curiosity I decided to ask if the store was hiring or looking for any new team members for the establishment and after asking the manager in charge responded with another passive aggressive attitude and as a fellow manager those actions are unacceptable and need to be reprimanded. read more

We recently moved to MD from TX and were extremely excited to try this new location as Bahama Bucks is a company from TX. Honestly, we were disappointed in the quality of the product we received. I'm not sure if this was an employee error, or if the company itself changed training policies and how items are prepared. The sno is supposed to be soft and fluffy as it's inspired by Hawaiian shaved ice. The sno we ordered came out hard, compact, and crunchy. We've been to Bahama Bucks back in TX over a hundred times, and I always remember getting freshly shaved ice whenever I placed an order. The employee who made the sno this day was shaving a bunch of ice ahead of time, storing it in a half hotel pan, then placing that over a sink to make the process of making multiple orders faster. If you've never had Bahama Bucks or Hawaiian shaved ice before, then I feel bad that this is your first impression of it. The drive to this location for us took about an hour, so we won't be making this trip ever again for a crunchy ice product that we could easily find at any other snow cone stand near us. read more
