After a long day of driving I still had more to go after dropping off one of my coworkers. I needed to use the facilities, refuel myself, and grab something quick to go with me. Knowing I didn't want to go through a drive thru, I brought myself here. It gave me time to stretch my legs as well. I do have to say, the facilities weren't that bad, but they were your typical Wawa restrooms. Tore up, but functioning. Kind of like myself. When I came out I did a quick stop at the cooler to grab myself a drink. Made my way to the register and grabbed an item from behind. Paid, scanned the app, and was back outside. Great place to empty out your vehicle's trash after a long road trip. Lot is plentiful with ample parking and it basically has a dedicated traffic signal which made for east entry/exit. Seems to be a place where the local police like to watch the traffic in the area. read more

Why was I at a Wawa in La Plata Maryland? Let's just say... if you're going to buy something at an online auction, make sure that you take a look at the pickup location to make sure it's not 61+ miles away from your home *insert smiley face with sweat drip on temple*. Am I writing to you as the proud new owner of 8 Korean style BBQ Grill Pans? Yes. Would I have bid on them if I knew I had to pick them up 1 hour and 20 minutes away... sadly no lol. Ok, back to the point! This Wawa has recycling bins at the gas pumps! I was so excited about this I took a few pictures. I mean, let's get real people. Most of the trash that's coming out of cars is one use plastics like bottles, cups, car fluid containers etc. Am I aware of the realities that very little plastic recycling actually is recycled: yes. But let's not throw the baby out with the bathwater... I feel like that saying is applicable here. I mean... even if it's only 10 percent. Let's make that 10 percent larger! I try and recycle any and all things I can. And it makes me upset to have to throw a plastic bottle into a regular trash can. So HUGE props to Wawa for identifying the need and doing somethin somethin for our planet. Also, Wawa is Wawa - and is generally awesome. I bought an iced coffee while I was there, and a snack or two. Solid Wawa trip. As always. read more

Dirtiest Wawa bathroom I have ever been to. Also, the highest gas prices in the area.

I visited this Wawa at 4am to grab gas and a latte. It was only a few of us in the store that early. I stood patiently at the counter to pay in cash as the kiosk does not accept cash. I wasn't in a rush bc I knew I had to wait for my drink. Another customer came in and told the associate on the floor there was someone at the counter. I didn't ask him to do that. She told him "I have to have this stock put out by 6am" (mind you it's 4am). She finally came to the counter aggressively as if I was interrupting her and told me "you could've told me you were paying in cash, I have to have the stock put out by 6". I was confused bc I didn't know I needed to tell the cashier my payment method up front. Her comment was rude and her approach was off, therefore I decided I would just go to a different location bc why would I want to do service with someone who's being rude for no reason. As I walked out the door behind another customer she starting mouthing off and making rude comments, as if we did something to her. So I turned around and asked who is she talking to? I asked where was her supervisor and she said she was the supervisor. We exchanged words until I realized I was arguing with a child who obviously does not know how to deal with the public. It was pointless for me to go back and forth with a kid. However, it was totally uncalled for. I work with the public daily so I take pride in treating others with respect. No I don't think the customer is always right, but it's not my duty to prove that. My strategy is "in and out". So to experience this at a place that I go to often and been going to for years is crazy! I've filed a complaint with Wawa Corp and BBB bc clearly customer service training needs to be enforced. read more

On Nov 10,2022 I picked up an order from GrubHub.im a driver.Wawa gave me wrong order. In order for them to give me the correct order they demanded the old order back which ended up in a customer's hands. When an order leaves the store it should not be accepted back into the store for possible resale,etc. It should be considered as trash. Due to the fault of Wawa it took the customer over an hour to get their order when they should have gotten it within a 10 minute drive. From here on out I will reject any orders from Wawa that ordered thru GrubHub. read more

I took an alternate route to miss Washington, DC. There was one on the Virginia side of the bridge but I skipped that, guessing that it was a long way until Delaware. I finally stopped here to get some iced tea and a Coconut Junior. Everything seemed to be in place and I found my items quickly. It's odd that the iced tea in Florida was only $0.99 each, where the special here was 2 for $2.00. The staff was friendly and efficient. read more

I really despise this Wawa. If you get self serve coffee I think you will be fine. Every single time I ordered a specialty coffee they 1) get the order wrong and 2) the staff does not check the computer so they are not aware that you placed an order. I have since stopped going to the Wawa. I would recommend the Wawa in White Plains. It's cleaner and the staff is friendly and always gets the orders right. read more

This is a great WaWa. It's the last one before you hit the bridge into VA and is easy to get in and out of and back onto the road.

I need to stop going here. I have gotten orders from the food bar messed up multiple times. I'm a little confused how it can be so hard to get an order correctly when you see line by line what to put on the order. It's hard not to be annoyed or frustrated when you pay good money for food that gets put together incorrectly. Today I ordered a breakfast burrito special order with bacon egg and cheese. (Hashbrown and extra cheese additional cost) they had a newer girl working and she never asked me what I wanted special to my burrito she made it first. ( I wanted lite egg) as it's usually too much for my liking. As I'm watching I notice she is a bit confused and I see her open the burrito with the senior employee(trainer) and put American cheese inside after it was already put together. So I take it from them go outside and see it was made with cheddar cheese originally and regular egg & the American cheese I paid extra for is put inside cold. I go inside to either get a refund or a new burrito. The senior employees tell me the cheddar cheese comes in the eggs... you and I both know this is a lie(I get burritos everytime for breakfast) never once had it come this way. They say we will make a new one. Okay perfect! They give me the new burrito super fresh (to hot to touch even) so I start my drive home.. as it cools down I take a few bites. What do you know there isn't a layer of the (cheddar) cheese that comes in the eggs apparently... & low and behold NO HASHBROWN. So now I've received not 1 but 2 burritos that were carelessly put together. I paid over 5 dollars for a burrito that i never actually received my correct item. I called to speak with management to hopefully get the trainer and newer employee watched because clearly they aren't a good fit together.. she puts me on hold comes back and also tells me this same thing about the cheddar cheese. Like I'm stupid or something, she never mentioned the cold American cheese thrown inside... she offered me a new burrito next time I come in... I said no thanks I just wanted management to know of the situation going on out front. This isn't the first occurrence.. I don't plan to go back. read more

Everytime I order a sandwich there they mess it up. Usually it's in the evening and the women behind the counter are talking to each other so much they aren't paying attention to making your food. That also results in them being one of the slower ones around so don't be surprised if you are waiting for longer than you'd expect. The food is actually not all that bad but I'd recommend watching them make it so you can intervene when they are about to screw it up. The soups are good and the pre-made wraps and fruit bowls are good too and the cashiers are usually quite pleasant so it's not a total throw away. read more

Pit stop at wawa are always the best... I got hunger during the trip back to Virginia... So I got three sodas and two family size chips... Two for six bucks....loving it! Every wawa convent store segmented are the same... Right side is sandwiches and hot foods...the right side has munchies and refreshments... The middle sections is baked goods and quick to go heathery chooses...way better then how seven eleven to set up...the restroom is all the way at the end to the left side... The restrooms are always clean...one more reason why stoping at a wawa is the way to go... When I went to the check out they gave me a discount on the chips even though I picked the wrong ones...usually stores would make you go back to get the right one just because... That was really generous of them! The line was quick...took less then five mins to check out and leave...fast and efferent! read more

I've always had good experiences at every Wawa I've been to. The only thing is the placement of some of them and sometimes the coffee isn't consistent. I like their chicken soups and fresh made items. The customer service is better than average everyone can have a bad day once in a while. read more

Clean, convenient and always there in time of need best of all here the price of gas is dirt cheap. Yeah it's a long way down coming here from my side of the world but I'm sure glad when I saw this place and needed gas and some quick energy food to snack on. To stretch my legs after being cramped up for 2 and half hours. A friendly smiling face after long lines of frustrating traffic madness. I just love Wawa. My only issue with this and EVERY Wawa is that when u use the bathroom there is no paper towels so when u wash your hands you use the electric dryer...to be green no doubt. The problem is everyone doesnt wash their hands so u have to touch the NASTY DOOR HANDLE after dirty people. I told the manager. He said its corporate policy. My fiancé and I frequent WaWa on a daily basis, whether it be for gas, to use the ATM, or grab a bite late night. The staff is very friendly and always greet us with a warm welcome. Since we are always there, they have become familiar with our likes and dislikes which makes it much easier to get in and get out at 3 a.m. after a long night shift. Overall I wouldn't give this place any less than 5 stars since I have never had a bad experience. read more

Wow. My wife and I stopped at this Wawa on Tuesday afternoon on our way home. I never realized when I lived in La Plata what a disgusting place this Wawa was. Not that I got gas here that often. The pump tops and face are filthy. The facia on the pumps and the card readers have never been updated. The card reader at the pump that I went to first did not work. The pump driveways were filthy. You can tell that this owner knows nothing about power washing. The entire outside area is filthy. There is no maintenance at all. This owner is pocketing every dollar that he can. I have been to many Sheetz where I live and they are kept up much better than this Wawa. Next time you go to one of these Wawa's on 301 look at the top of the pump and the face to see how worn everything is. And, I would suggest that you take some alcohol wipes with you to use before you touch the pump handles. This goes for all gas stations. Many diseases and viruses are transmitted by touching these things with your hands and then touching your face or your steering wheel and then spreading the germs. I will not be going to this Wawa again. Sometimes you have to remove yourself from and area and then come back to see what you missed or do not. read more
