The wings...I PASSED on via the high amount of sodium. The wedges got a NAH, via it not being enough of them and they were frigid. The croissant was DECENT, enough for me to order it again. The Sub was DECENT, but it could've been DELICIOUS if it were bigger. The freezy was DECENT...it's a freezy. . . . Dash In has excellent customer service, I've ALWAYS been greeted when I walk in. Parking was ample, the store (their eatery specifically) was clean, and open, so you can see how your food is being prepared. Ordering online...I was not successful. It is confusing. This location is new and should be run better. Often messy near the hot food area and the slurpee fountains. They do not put napkins out so if you do have an accident there is nothing for you to clean up with. Their slurpee flavors may or may not be ready. Day after day, not sure what that's about. They aren't usually too busy but on the rare occasion they are the lines get a little hectic. I hope they get it together. Please leave out napkins and refill straws! We shouldn't have to ask for those items each time. The hot foods sometimes seem old. I've definitely bit into one too many old toquitos.

Unfortunately today I loaded my cart with the items I needed, like any other day. While yapping on the phone my sister asked if I'd checked the expiration on my items I laughed and said I only do that when I get dairy items. To my surprise half of my cart was expired!! I put the expired items down and only got what was good. Now I'll have to go to another store for what I could not get due to it being old! I went to customer service where I was greeted by a manager. She assured me the expired items could only be vendor items. Which was not true. As I had several items that were not vendor items (usually located on end caps). She assured me their staff were currently on the floor checking dates. Which is hard to believe, I didn't see anyone working while walking through. I also found items which were several months past expiration, not days, not weeks! Thinking back I now wonder how many items I've purchased from this store which were expired and I didn't realize until it was too late. Shoppers has never stood out to me as a clean, grocery store, but efficient, yes This seems to no longer be true. Their fruits and vegetables always seem old and picked over, their store esthetic is dull and dingy. I wish this review was to give kudos, but it's not. You also have to download their app now to earn and redeem membership perks, which isn't immediate. This goes for previous Shoppers members and new.

But it left us feeling uneasy, the thought of someone taking something from you even if it was just a small amount. If he would have asked for a tip, it would have been okay. Looking back at a previous review, I noticed someone else mentioned a similar experience. To avoid confusion, I recommend that when paying in cash here it helps to state the bill amount you're handing over so there's no misunderstanding.

No one directed me into the wash area today... Seems to be signs of this location getting into the flow of things or maybe noticing some things they did when they opened aren't necessary. I also noticed the trash truck picking up the trash while I was in the drying bays, twice!! Not a pleasant smell at all so I suggest coming after 9:30am.
