I've been a loyal Flagship Car Wash member for over three years, and this was honestly the first…read moreexperience that made me question whether I wanted to remain a customer. I visited the Waldorf location on St. Patrick's Boulevard earlier this week and noticed that my trunk hadn't been vacuumed. The only thing in my trunk was a single kickball. Since my trunk had always been cleaned during previous visits, I simply wanted to find out if something had changed. I wasn't looking for a refund or trying to complain--I just wanted an explanation. I reached out through the online chat and spoke with Kimberly. Instead of explaining that the membership packages had changed and that trunk vacuuming depends on the package, she was rude, dismissive, and ended the conversation after telling me I would have to go into the location to cancel my membership. I then tried to cancel online, but the fillable cancellation form on the website didn't work. It directed me to call customer service instead. Ironically, I reached Kimberly again. After I asked to cancel, she again refused to help, insisted I had to go into the location, and ended the call. After that, every call from my personal phone went straight to voicemail. When I called from my work phone, the call went through immediately. Thankfully, I reached Erica, and she completely changed my opinion of the company. She listened, apologized sincerely, explained that the membership packages had changed over time, and offered to help me find the package that included the services I expected. She also offered three months of complimentary service because of my experience. To be clear, this was never about getting free months. If someone had simply explained that the packages had changed, I would have happily upgraded. Instead, I was treated poorly and given inaccurate information by one representative. Erica is the reason I'm still a customer today. She demonstrated exactly what customer service should look like. My hope is that management recognizes employees like her while also addressing how customers are treated by representatives like Kimberly. Long-time customers deserve respect, accurate information, and a willingness to help--not rude interactions that leave them wanting to cancel after years of loyalty.

I have little complaints but the complaints are big but lets start with the good…read more The subscription service isn't that bad. $59/mo for the option of getting a wash every day isn't bad. 3 washes in the month and you've paid for the subscription. Not sure if it's bad or good to wash your vehicle multiple times a week but sometimes you need it. They get you in and get you out fast. I am usually pretty satisfied with the cleanliness of my windows and mirrors. I also enjoy the shine of my tires and they do a good job of vacuuming although they do sometimes neglect my rear seat/trunk area depending on if the seats are up or down. I think they should vacuum it regardless. They do rush you in so that the exhaust from the vehicle in front would steam up your forward-facing camera and because the vehicles are so closely packed, they air dry with spots before you actually get in to the personal touch area. And once in there, they don't really dry the vehicle off because it's mostly dry and it wouldn't do much help without a damp and dry town to get the spots off. They also don't do the top of the SUV. I always have to get up there and do it myself before I pull off. I have a sunroof and a panoramic sunroof so I would like for them to wipe that, however most if not all of their employees are too small to get up there so there's not much they can do about that. The cloths that clean the top of the SUV also aren't that effective. They just slide across the top. They don't have the type of contact that you get around the rest of the vehicle. This means that at times, not only is the top glass not clean but the top in general isn't clean. Maybe they should get those cloths on a stick but having the top wash as well as the sides would also be a big plus. They have the most locations in the locations I tend to locate to so that is good for me. I am almost always near one as I'm going out.
