He did the new truck first and after some PDR by Ryan at Dentless Touch, Gary made the new paint even better with incredible depth and gloss. He saw my 2019 Ram 1500 and noticed that it was in great shape for a 7 year old truck and had the same black paint code as the 2026. He said he could do paint correction on it and it would look as good as the 2026. Wow! He said when I picked it up it would be hard to tell which was the new truck and which was the 7 year old truck. That old paint now looks like it never had before even when new. It also has incredible depth and gloss. Gary is a master craftsman who takes great pride in his work and assures his customers get only the best living up to his name. I've had people stop by my house when they see the 2 trucks and ask me who did the work on them and I hand them Gary's card. If you want the best, go to the Best!

Expensive cars, expensive problems....even down to the rims & tires!…read more Sharper Image ARS is a life saver! Have you ever had one of those moments, on a freezing cold day, running late for work and when you finally rush out the door to start your commute to work...you noticed your tire is flat or has lost most of its air!? If so, you know my pain. Go figure, the joys of having a high-end sports ride and low profile tires!! The winter season can be ruff on low-profile tires or any car with a set of rims on them. I had an issue with one stubborn tire where I kept losing air in the tire due to a damaged rim and the crazy temperature changes lately here in DC. I had two separate auto shops try to repair the issue...with no success until I stumbled on Sharper Image ARS. What a great find?! These guys came recommended to me right on time by Mac's Tire (another life saver) in DC. Mac's does not repair rims, hence why I needed a specialty tire/rim repair shop like Sharper Image ARS. These guys know their stuff. I called and made an appointment for the same day. The Manager, Shawn Gray, was able to easily assess the issue, repair/resurface the rim almost to a new one, and seal the tire on the rim correctly. He went above and beyond to make sure the problem was fixed. My wheel was restored back to the original performance and I was really pleased with his work. No more having the need to fill my tire with air every couple of days...sometimes 2-3 times a week due to this issue. It's been two weeks of freezing cold weather and I haven't had another air leak or issue with the tire/rim since going to Sharper Image ARS. Just in time for the snow and blizzard this weekend! 5 Stars easily!! I would highly recommend checking these guys out if you are having tire/rim issues. Services also include car detailing, tire/rim sales, minor mechanic and bodywork services too. They are very professional and run a good, honest shop. ONE SIDE NOTE....I see some folks complaining about the business location. Do not be discouraged by the location or the looks of the establishment. They are legit and are currently renovating while operating their business.

They ended up finishing in about 2.5 - 3 weeks. The work was good, although the color was different from the original, which was fine, because it looks really good. There is nothing wrong the location as far as I can tell. My only suggestion would be for them to update the phone number on the business cards. Update: got another rim refinshed here. Looks great--awesome, professional work as usual!

Firstly, Tyrone Crossland, May God punish you, your career, life and business. May you fail at all your hands touch from this day moving forward. May you leak money & joy and your hopes be dashed as you dashed mine. May your life be as painful as the pain you have caused me, and as pointless as bringing my car to you was. May you go out of business in the nearest future. May you encounter a customer who will drag you to the depths of bankruptcy and beyond. May God cripple your business as you crippled my movements, whilst my car was in your hands. Each day will bring you suffering and pain in 100 fold the measure of pain you caused me. May you suffer irrevocable spiritual damage, from this day forward and forever more.I regret that I share the same pigmentation as you and you are the kind of person who gives our kind a bad name, with your irresponsibility and your laziness and your lies. This man is a pathological & compulsive liar, who lies, knows that YOU-KNOW he's lying, yet continues lying in your face, with an expressionless look on his. Most of the pics are not even his handiwork. He kept my Camaro for 3weeks starting in January, telling me every other day that he'd be done in 2-days and when I call him in 2days,  he'd refuse to respond. He moved my pick up date 11 times...yes 11 TIMES!  I have photo and email evidence of all. Each time he moved those dates, he'd tell me my car would to be ready in 2 days, when that day came, he'd move it again, stating that he just had to finish the bumper (He was always finishing the bumper). I asked him few times to send me progress pics especially because he initially suggested it. He never sent one and stopped responding when I asked. The third week he calls me on a Tuesday, stating he has completed my car and would definitely have my car ready for me on Thursday, with an extra free caliper paint job as well because " I had been so patient". Then on Thursday, he refused to pick up his phone when I called him. He refused to return any texts until I texted him that my brother was dropping me off.... then came the furious texts, (and a call) asking me not to come with my brother and to hold off on coming because he had a lot of paperwork for me to sign. So I asked him to leave the keys with his workers (He had boasted several times to me that he has a lot of workers helping him). Then he said the front and rear bumpers were not attached yet.  He asked me NOT to bring my brother along with me.  He said he'd come pick me up on Friday to come get my car. I asked him if he had a picture of the completed work. 6 hours later he sends me a picture of the rear bumper with a tiny section of my car wrapped....... He had only done the work that day. On Friday when I called to confirm him picking me up as he promised verbally and in writing, he refused to respond to me in a timely fashion. My brother called him, and he told my brother he had promised to pick me up and asked why I had gotten someone else involved.   I set out to get my car anyway and did not alert him until I got there. He was not at his shop. (whilst I was on my way there he had texted me to say he had not attached the bumper because he got into an accident). When I got to his shop, and after threatening him with police action due to thievery, he showed up, opened up his garage door and lo and behold was my car with with the bumper on and just one tiny side of my car done. He told me it was completed just that morning. Then 5 mins into my getting there, I began to record our conversations and this lying creature had the audacity to tell me that whilst I was standing there, with my brother as witness, he had affixed the bumper back on........... I was standing right there. My brother was standing right there. That is sickness. He needs a mental hospital asap. He is lazy. He has a very ridiculous and irrational temper. He is Erratic.  His communication skills are seriously lacking. He also was not in an accident. I Paid him what he asked in full. He owes me money now.
