Aside from the food and ice cream being great per usual, I don't like when people are put in positions they don't qualify for at all. This Dunkin is shared with a Baskin Robbins. I get the same 2 orders on & off. Either a Cinnamon Raisin bagel bacon, egg, & cheese with hash browns or a mango banana smoothie from the Baskin Robbins side. This is my second time having the same problem with the cashiers. First time , my total was $10.37 . I handed the woman a $20.00 bill and $0.37 . If I have large bills I always use this method to prevent getting coins back. I wanted all bills back. She gave me $5.00 back and some coins. I didn't bother to count the coins because I knew regardless it was wrong. I explained to her how much I should've got back 3 times and she finally gave me all bills. Second incident was today . I ordered a mango banana smoothie and my total was $6.35. I gave the woman a debit card and $0.35 . All cashiers know if you are given two forms of payment. You deposit the cash/coins FIRST and THEN you charge the card. The woman ran my card and gave me the coins back. I was heated because why would you blatantly ignore my $0.35 ? I asked her why would she do that and she responded and said "there's money on the card". Unbelievable....Money is money. That $0.35 was given to you for A REASON. You don't just grow a brain and decide to do what you want with someones money. What if all I had in my bank account was $6.00 and that's why I gave you $0.35 in change ? Now my bank account is overdrawn etc. That is wrong to do on so many levels. Idk if I can trust this location. Stopped by after work and decided to try a scoop of ice cream. As I pulled up to the window, I literally saw the scoop fall flat onto the bare counter. The employee denied it even happened, but I watched the whole thing. He insisted he'd make another one, but instead just placed the same cone into another cone and handed it back. I tossed it right in front of him and drove off. This isn't the first time I've seen questionable practices here. On a previous visit, I watched them hand off food that had clearly been prepared for someone else directly to another customer. After everything we've been through with Covid, you'd think people would be more careful, but apparently not. I won't be coming back twice is enough to see a pattern of shady behavior. read more

I have given this Dunkin donuts the benefit of the doubt too many times. As of today I will no longer be a customer. I went there yesterday and they were out of munchkins okay no problem I went down to the dunkin' donuts in mitchellville plaza they and had plenty. Today I visited the Dunkin donuts on Hall station road again and again they were out of a different type of classic donuts. It was 1:30 p.m. in the afternoon the excuse was they've been open since 5:00 a.m. really? So what are you going to do for the rest of the day if you out of so many different types of donuts ? This place never have what you need which means the inventory is low. It's the waste of time and the waste of gas. Service & Hygiene need to be better! I have been going to this location since it opened without any complaints....until today. I have used this restaurant (or whatever it is) many times and have usually enjoyed both the food and service. The ice tea, milkshakes, smoothies and other beverages are top notch. The bagels are okay but not necessarily fresh. The donuts are very good. The service has always been quick and courteous. I recommend this place. I feel like I've reviewed this location before, hmmm.... I don't know. Anywho, I've been coming here since they opened. My go-to item on the menu is the banana split with strawberry cheesecake ice cream, yummy! I've never had any issues. Great customer service (friendly, prompt, and my order is always correct). The one down by Watkins isn't as friendly IMO so I drive the extra five minutes. I'm all about giving the money to those who work for it. This location definitely seems to take more pride in their business. Note - I've never been inside only drive-thru and they always get it right, including napkins and utensils. read more

This DD is brand new and is in between my credit union and the bowie library on Central Ave. It may be the largest DD I've been to and yes it has a drive through. I had the chicken apple sausage muffin that was surprisingly good. I definitely recommend it! read more

The family that runs this DD and I are legit friends now. I live right down the street and so for the past year my husband and I have come here for coffee and a sammy every other weekend or so. They even recognize us in the drive-thru. I came without my husband once and they were perplexed, and now it's a joke based on if I order one or two breakfast sandwiches. The sweet girl who does morning drive-thru even told me she liked my hair cut. They are always so sweet but they do NOT quit with the hustle - ex: 'Are you SURE you don't want hash browns for .99 cents?' - but I understand that they are trying to turn a profit on their franchise. I don't love Dunkin Donuts. I think it is one of those overrated, hallmark establishments in American culture. Sometimes I'm craving a donut and I don't feel like driving to Krispy Kreme so I pop into a DD and grab a strawberry frosted one (my favorite one here) and I still feel unfulfilled. I'd equate it to when you wish you could travel to the Caribbean, but you settle for Ocean City because it's closer, cheaper, and there's saltwater. You can still take Instagram-worthy photos in your cute bikini on the sand, but it is still definitely not a Caribbean island. I appreciate that DD started offering almond milk as a non-dairy alternative way before Starbucks did, but their coffee drinks are still way too sweet. Anyway, I was waiting for the South Bowie library to open because I didn't realize they had different hours every day. I needed to check some emails and I realized that this DD has wifi. I actually dreaded coming in here because I would have to buy something in order to sit here. As another reviewer mentioned, this DD is larger inside than I imagined it would be. It was very clean and the menus were presented on large TV monitors. Impressive, I guess. I walk in and the young lady behind the counter delivered Chick-fil-a levels of customer service. "HI! To be honest the only really I come here is because they're conveniently close to my home other then that I would never support them. My review is probably based off of the dozen or so bad Dunkin Donuts that I have been too that this is probably the second one in the entire world to consistently get my order right and the coffee actually taste the same on every visit. I can't speak for the customer service as I only go through the drive thru and it's only a few words said between the attendant and myself....I will say I seem to never get a total until I reach the actual window which is a tad frustrating, what if I'm short on payment, I would hate to find out at the window lol. Unsanitary. They go from the register to food prep without even stopping at the sink! Unfriendly. They are not rude, but not friendly either. This Dunkin Donuts has poor customer service and operates with a stereotypical perspective toward people of color. They lock the door around 830pm and force you to use the drive in window. When you make a purchase with a credit card at the drive thru window, they hold your order until they process the transaction. And this was done as I took my son there to have our ice cream time. This location is convenient and the staff is friendly but it seems that they can never get an order right. I've visited on several occasions and my order is almost always wrong. I politely let the manager know, and she was friendly about the feedback, but nothing seems to improve. Tried using the app to avoid any communication error hoping this would fix it, and it hasn't. This place has a great location. It is right next to the South Bowie library, very convenient as I am constantly at the library and I always need coffee. This location is new and everything started off good but now the drive thru customer service is horrible. Over the past year, I have visited this location (maybe twice a month) because it's in our neighborhood and in route to my son's bus stop. Each time I go, my coffee is not right, donuts aren't fresh, my wake up wrap is burnt, and the customer service is iffy!!! I took a break in coming and after a few months decided to give it a try. Well, once again the coffee is absolutely horrible! Aside from there not being much cream or sugar (normally it's the reverse) the coffee itself tastes like water!!! Dunkin's coffee has a certain taste to it but their coffee is so bad that I don't even know if they're using the Dunkin' brand! First--The customer service has definitely improved since they first opened but I still would not describe it as "good." They do decent with basics but anything "extra" for example, putting hot fudge in the cup opposed to on top of the ice cream creates a fuss. Second--the food always tastes off.
