Cute ice cream shop located next to Otani Japanese restaurant. They have regular ice cream and vegan ice cream, ice cream sandwiches and other unique options to choose from. They also have a lot of different flavors to try. I ordered coconut chocolate chip, it was really good! At the front of the shop there are a few small tables and merchandise for sale. There is a freezer for grab and go items such as larger ice cream sizes and ice cream cakes of various sizes!

Glad we have an Always in Crofton now! I've heard great reviews, so it was welcome news when we saw one taking over the previous Philly Pretzel Factory (RIP, tasty pretzels). We were here on opening day and again since. They only had one person working on a Monday afternoon, but it wasn't too crowded. Otherwise, it's a perfect experience! The ice cream is so good, and their staff is very friendly. It's a small store so there isn't much room to hang around (3 small tables). Still, it's well worth the visit!

After trying to get ideas on their website, Alexis reached out to me directly and sent me sample pictures of the tower design. She was so friendly and extremely helpful. She definitely left my mind at ease with her warm personality. Not only was the donut tower GORGEOUS but it was also delicious. The flavors I chose were the strawberry crunch, banana pudding, fruity pebbles and the Oreo. These were all delicious! All my guest and I were very impressed with everything. I am so thankful to Alexis and her team! I will recommend this place to everyone I know for every occasion, even just a sweet tooth. And ofcourse I will be going back :)

Saturday 1/10/26…read more I've been eying this dessert spot for a while, and today I made it happen. I ended up getting the apple pie cinnamon roll $11.95, biscoff banana pudding $9.95, and the MEGA cookies n cream shake (sub for a chocolate chip muffin) $28.95. - Service was solid and helpful. - Although the apple pie cinnamon roll $12 price tag is a bit much, I still was able to enjoy it. The toppings were nice, especially the cream cheese, but the dough was underwhelming as it was a bit dry and slightly firmer than I usually prefer. - The Biscoff banana pudding was the main pick the staff member recommended, so despite not being the biggest banana pudding guy, I had to try it. Unfortunately, it wasn't anything impressive, but it was cool. Also, the biscuit taste was more so in the background. - The shake was pretty good, but not $29 worth by any means. The cupcake that I got with it LOOKED GREAT, but I can't say the same for the taste, as it was just alright. The Oreo donut was solid. All in all, I'm not really crazy or impressed by any of the items and definitely wouldn't spend that amount of money again (especially on the $29 shake), but I enjoyed the experience. -- #issa.cheatday

This Rita's is a small joint right by a handful of other restaurants. It seems to be in a quieter area and we had no trouble finding parking on a weekend afternoon. Service was fast and efficient (and also helpful when I was debating on what to get). What we got: Mango-Peach Misto Shake (vanilla custard) - 5* smooth and refreshing. A great sweet treat and I'd get this flavor again. I loved having the custard mixed into the Italian ice, I think it really enhanced the texture and would rather have the custard mixed in than separate. (See below) Strawberry Lemonade Gelati - 4* instead of having the custard mixed into the Italian ice (like the Misto) you have custard on the bottom, Italian ice in the middle, and custard on the top. The strawberry-lemonade is a 5* flavor. And on its own the vanilla custard is a 3*. The custard is very creamy, smooth, and slightly fluffy. Almost reminiscent of cool whip. While it tastes alright mixed with the Italian ice I don't think I'm a big fan of it on its own.

So we drove a good 30mins to get here, with anticipation from seeing this restaurant on a travel channel, but the original location is in NY. We get there, and its plenty of free parking. We ask for seating for 3 and we are told they are only seating individuals who booked a reservation. Totally understandable considering its Valentine's day. I dropped the ball folks. I didn't make a reservation. So I noticed a bar lounge which we were told we could wait for a seat to open up. As we were waiting a coupled jumped in front us and took a seat. The manager Claudia came to the rescue like the dark knight but with more grace. She mentioned she was willing to put us on the list for a table in the main dining area. I accepted her kind gesture and continued to wait for bar lounge seating to open up. A couple was kind enough to come over to us and ask if we were waiting for bar lounge seating. They offered their table to us as they were ending their night. There was a 2 man band playing in the lounge area that was very soothing to the ear. As I tried to help my mother get comfortable at the hightop table, I noticed she was having a difficult time getting seated in such a high chair. Guess who came to the rescue, you guessed, Claudia! She's the best, 100 grand, made me a real fan. So she came over and said our table was ready if we wanted a booth seating and we all know that's the best seats in the house. All I could think is look at God. The wait wasn't even long either. 10 out of 10 for saving the day. In addition our waitress was such a sweetheart. I mentioned a white malbec I saw on the menu that I was astonish to see b/c I never knew of such a thing. She bought me a small glass to taste and my God, I am a true believer Jesus turned water into wine. Its so clear like water but the taste is amazing. The food is so delicious. The restaurant is very clean. The staff is very personalable. Everyone cartered to us. You would have thought we were the Obamas or something. As we were stuffing our faces, Claudia comes around handing out roses to the men/boys to give to their dates. Complimenting my son and his daper outfit she hands him a rose and tells him to give it your mommy. At the moment he lights up with a big smile as if he paid for the rose himself. I can tell he felt like a gentleman and good that he could give his mother a red rose on Valentine's day. That small gesture was very thoughtful and appreciated. I apologize for my essay, but they desired it. I love the service, the ambiance, the food, and service. I haven't seen my mother smile so much in a while. So it bought me great joy to give my mother this experience on Valentine's day. I thank Nonna Angela's staff for such a wonderful experience.

They…read morestarted in Illinois in 1940, and I remember loving the chicken tenders when I was a kid living in Texas in the 90's. Although my tastes have changed in the past 30 years from simply chicken tenders, pizza, etc. of what I liked then greatly expanding to much more, I still like the DQ chicken tender basket. Odenton DQ is the closest to my home and have been a few times. When I go, the catalyst is either a deal, using reward program points, and/or not letting points expire. While I'm not going as far as 5-stars like I gave Raising Cane's in Gambrills & Columbia. Raising Cane's chicken tenders are my favorite, but Dairy Queen is still solid. Raising Cane's doesn't give you gravy though, which DQ does. I like dipping the fries as well as the chicken tenders in the gravy. When I was a kid, I used to try to get gravy to dip my fries in at other places that had gravy, but nowadays really only Dairy Queen is the only place I can think of that I do that as the chicken tender basket comes with gravy by default. In addition to 4 or 6 chicken tenders & fries, the basket also comes with Texas Toast, which is good, but I'll admit I love the Raising Cane's Texas Toast more. When people think of Dairy Queen, the first thing that comes to mind is not the chicken strip basket like me, but they think of the various ice cream products such as the Blizzard. Those Blizzards and other various ice cream products are great too. My girlfriend & I have split a couple of Blizzards. One time I was by myself, got the chicken strip basket and a small Blizzard. I felt bloated after the "small" Blizzard, but it was delicious. I should've gotten the kid size Blizzard, but it was only an 80 cent price differential. I got their burger a couple of times, and it's surprisingly good and big too, almost the size of a hubcap, which foreshadows a future Yelp review in Arkansas on my state series I'll be doing after the 20th century businesses. One of the times, I had a Blizzard or split with my girlfriend in addition to this big burger, and I felt bloated, but it was worth it. Staff at Odenton DQ is pretty efficient and generally cordial, although one time, I felt they were kind of rude. Maybe an off day, but on average they've been good. Seating is limited inside, but there are maybe 4 booths. There are more outside seating both in the shade & sun. In summary, great food including ice cream.

We arrived around 3:30 on a Saturday for a late lunch. We were seated immediately and had a very friendly and attentive server, Farah. I ordered the watermelon margarita which came with a cute note attached. We dug into the old bay wings before I remembered to take a picture. They were good and flavorful. I ordered the salmon BLTA. It was okay - not a lot of flavor, but the proportion of bread to salmon definitely didn't match up. I ended up leaving a good portion of bread on my plate. My husband had the fish and chips. Talk about a huge portion- his fish was huge! He said it was good though. My only serious complaint was that the first stall I went to in the ladies room had a broken lock on the door. That's concerning. Fortunately there was a second stall. Hopefully they get that door lock fixed soon though!
