Dunkin' without the Donuts, it still breaks my heart that they dropped donuts from the name, why? No reason at all actually! This Dunkin' is located inside of what I believe is called the Prudential Centre. This was my first time coming to this mall and when I was practically dying of thirst, this Dunkin' saved my life by simply existing (I'm being very dramatic, but I was so thirsty). The staff was very short with words but they were super busy and since it was Dunkin', I don't really care. I ended up ordering a blue raspberry coolata and it was absolutely delicious and did in fact save my life (or just quench my thirst, whichever). As Dunkin's go, a one is fairly standard, although a bit small. Only about five seats, so it's definitely intended for a quick grab and go. I stopped by on a Saturday afternoon and it was packed! Not enough space for waiting so I found myself constantly moving to avoid blocking the pathway. The service was efficient, though, and my latte was good. So if you're in the need of takeout, this location should do the trick. But if you're looking for space to congregate, try another location. Update: I've been back several times. I've been coming here since 2009. It used to be a few buildings down from where I worked, so I was a frequent customer. Stopping in this week, I noticed that not much has changed. This location is too small, and lines can be long as well as wait times. I'm a New England girl and a big Dunks fan, but this one just doesn't do it for me. I got my usual medium hot caramel coffee and tried an egg and cheese on a multigrain bagel. It was ok, but I've had much better and the eggs were cold and clearly microwaved, and not fresh. I usually only get coffee at Dunks, and not food, now I remember why. Meal and drink options are consistent with other locations, and they seemed to have the same offerings, but the atmosphere just isn't inviting and its too cramped to enjoy. This is my go to Dunks almost everyday before work. Only reason I will not give them 5 stars is because the afternoon crew are not as great as the morning crew and my coffee is never as perfect. The morning staff are super friendly, they always got a smile on their faces as you walk in. They always recognize me and know exactly how I like my coffee and that just makes you feel special. Also, I'll admit it gets a little annoying having to deal with the people asking for money outside everyday. I live in a part of California with--gasp!-- no Dunkin' Donuts. When I visit Beantown this is the first place I hit when I wake up in the morning. The chocolate honey-dipped are the best donuts in the world. I'm sad that they've discontinued the crullers--I heard they were too labor-intensive to make. I've never visited a Dunkin to my knowledge after all these trips to the US. It's truly the American version of our Canadian Tim Hortons. Inexpensive coffee that is rather uninspiring yet adequate for the needs. I came by here to try the iced coffee which was a decent strength. I'm so not into the fru-fruey iced mocha cappa latte deal (loaded with........you know it sugar!). I drank those when I was 17 but I couldn't stomach one of those these days. (I didn't start drinking coffee until after college.) However, as my taste for "good" coffee increased, I started questioning the making of DD coffee. Why does the coffee at this DD taste different than the one at this other DD? Why does the coffee not taste as good when I use less cream? Why do the store-bought DD coffee beans not produce good tasting coffee; other coffee bean brands produced good coffee? And, why do New Englanders love this crap? DD is the reason I don't drink flavored coffee anymore; I would visit several locations, but I still could never get good French Vanilla coffee from them. There is no consistency between DD locations. You'd think that a franchise would produce consistent food/beverages between locations. One location serves coffee that is more burnt than burnt coffee from the other location. Their coffee would taste better if they made and kept it fresh enough throughout the day: dump it out after it has been sitting on the heater for 30 minutes or more. It's all in the light cream. I used to think they used half and half as the cream until I saw them make my order. They dump a lot of cream into the coffee. (No wonder the coffee texture has a full-bodied texture to it.) But, if you start using half and half, milk, or less cream, you realize that you end up with what tastes like watered down coffee -- if you're lucky; it depends what is in the water used to make the coffee. DD coffee is decent at best. (Can we get some actual coffee flavor in here?) With the exception of the donuts, breakfast food is bad too. So I have become a Dunkin' Donuts regular customers. Me, the former coffee snob. I grew up in the Northwest, moved out here, worked for Starbucks, and turned my nose up at Dunkin' Donuts for a long time. Why the coffee isn't as strong, the name is spelled wrong, and it's got kinda icky interiors. But I've grown to like my coffee not so strong, and eh, spelling.....mine tends to get worse with ages, and it's not like I am sitting down and drinking my coffee there. I go to this store whenever I am working, because it happens to be right next door to work. They haven't ever messed up my coffee, or bagel when I get one. I consider that success considering how many people walk through that door everyday. My typical breakfast, if I don't get fruit? Hazelnut coffee with milk, no sugar with a wheat bagel with light cream cheese. It's a good way to start the day. If you've had a rough night and need the breakfast of champions, nothing (besides a big mac) will help you succeed like an egg and cheese. So it's now April 12th, and it's been a while since I reviewed this.....I have to say that the staff and this Dunkin' Donuts location is awesome. I go to this dunkin' every morning despite the 4 that I pass on my way into work via the MBTA. Every time I step in, no matter how long the line is, I never wait more than 5 minutes to get to the counter. Everybody is always very friendly and helpful! I've been to many dunkin' donuts around New England and even worked there before and this is the only location I can confidently say that I've never had them mess up my coffee or sandwich. This is a very busy location compared to the neighboring shops. They handle the overall demand of tourists and workers coming in however it's extremely loud and the service is subpar. If all you care about is getting your iced coffee and fast food breakfast then I guess you're good to go. It's pretty hard to miss your order too as they're shouting the entire time. I was on a hunt for French cruellers which they don't have here. Go to the Dunkin' in the Prudential Center if you want them. They go fast though. read more

A tiny little store, just like the donut holes. With bunch of sweet staff members. I have been to this Dunkin many a times - when out and about in Copley. Usually waiting for friends who arrive late. There hasn't been a time when I have been disappointed in my caffeine experience from this branch. The staff is really nice here, despite the employee turnover from time to time. This one can especially get busy during weekends and typically during the summer. But it is surprisingly never chaotic because there are quite a few DDs in the area. The store itself is quite small and hence can accommodate not a very big crowd. So pick and choose your coffee destination when in the area as you will be able to see from the door itself how crowded this place can get. Since the store is in the middle of all the Copley commotion, I have seen they typically run out of the popular donuts rather quickly - especially the Boston Creme, my favorite. That is my only observation as compared to other locations and is kind of justified. Else, I have never had an issue getting my favorite coffee flavors or the typical breakfast wraps that I enjoy on a weekend out in Copley. Strange as it may sound - I have some fun and some not so fun memories associated with this store - all around waiting here with my favorite cup of coffee for friends (don't worry, won't start a mini story here!). This Dunkin' location gets very busy. The line often spills out onto the sidewalk weekday mornings. The staff is friendly and rather quick, so the line moves faster than you'd think. And, yes, that's even with the construction guys ordering for their entire crews. It helps that they have a drink only line. Downside is that it's right near the door and causes congestion with the regular order line. Coffee from here is rarely burnt, which means they are always brewing fresh pots. Product quality is comparable to any other location, and they've never messed up my coffee order here. This is one of my favorite Dunkins. I work nearby and the staff here treats me and all of the associates that work at my location like VIPs every time we come in. Just stellar, friendly-neighborhood service, which is not often found in the city. Nolis is a gem -- so sweet, so caring, and an asset to the team. The manager is extremely good, always pitching in to help during peak times. The girls at the counter are efficient and despite a VERY tight layout space-wise, keep the line moving and the system going. Here and there, I've had a coffee come out wrong (cream instead of skim), but they are always quick to fix any mistakes and they MORE than make up for it with their efficiency and service. Staying at the hotel across the street, this seemed like the best option for breakfast. The first day, the service was normal for a place like this (not especially friendly or good, but not terrible) and the food was the usual crappy fast food breakfast (as expected, considering we went to DD not an upscale cafe) . This morning, however, was another story. The food was pretty much the same but the service was atrocious. There were two girls taking orders on a single register and I don't think they had a brain cell between them. Despite the fact that I explained my VERY simple order about 5 times (one combo, one single sandwich, 2 donuts), they still managed to get it wrong. And the worst part was that the reason they weren't paying attention to my order is that they were too busy making fun of the man with Downs Syndrome standing next to me. Completely disgraceful.
