We orders walnut shrimp and egg rolls. The egg rolls were extremely greasy...not tasty at all. The walnut shrimp dish had something like cake frosting on it. We were very disappointed in the meal we ordered while staying in a hotel in Plano for a medical appointment. Grub Hub delivered the food. I had specified that we needed 2 forks with the meal. Who doesn't like dumplings? Came here and order the shrimp and pork dumplings, house signature buns, scallion pancake, fried rice, and beef rice noodles and damn they were good. You have to get the dumplings and buns pan fried because it tastes 10x better. The dumplings and buns are a nice size but quite pricy. The buns and dumplings runs about 11$ for 8 pc. A little overpriced in my opinion. The fried rice and beef rice noodles are also on point and super delicious. The staff here are attentive and nice. So after posting a review of this place because they can't seem to get an order right I decided to give them on last chance and after the manager replied to my last post I gave them one last try. So guess what, they got our order wrong again. They told my wife it's because they are to busy so I had to go over there and when I got there I complain about the order and the guy just walked away from me. We've been here many times in the past 3 years or so, I thought I'd actually post a review because I truly love their food. The atmosphere isn't the greatest and they always give my daughter room temp tap water...BUT...their food is to die for. The orange chicken is the best I've ever had, it's insanely crisp, I'm not sure how they do it. Last time I tried some spicy beef noodle soup and it wowed me. We visited this restaurant with a group of friends (5 total) and were easily able to find a table with enough space. It's the sort of place where small groups or large groups will find enough room for their party. We had dumplings and stuffing ourselves in mind so we ordered a variety: the Basa Fish steamed dumplings, the Pork and Shrimp, and the Shrimp and Scallop. I thought all three were great, but the basa fish were surprisingly my favorite. It ties the flavors together well. Also, we had the green onion pancake as an appetizer and it was crispy & delicious, one of the best we've had in Dallas. Besides the food, the service was fine. They had mistakenly brought us additional plates that we later found on the receipt as well, but we brought it up with our server and they immediately took it off and apologized so there was no issue. Loooooved it. I came with Tricia C and Monica and it was tasty. I found out why they wanted to come, they wanted me to help them eat the big portions of dumplins! I'm one of the friends in tow! :) We had three items, the pork and shrimp dumplings, the pork and green onion bun, and the beef and onion bun. All were very good and I'm eyeing my to-go box right now. Yes, my to-go box because we needed more friends "in tow"! I would LOVE for there to be a combo option for lunch- maybe some dumplings with buns, choose your own, whatever. The lunch menu looks yummy but there were no dumplings or buns. We ended up sharing our three dishes and it worked fine, but a do it your self combo would be awesome. We went there because of the good reviews on yelp. Be aware of their "add spicy" charge and "old menu" price! My husband and I both ordered the spicy beef noodle soup. When we got the check, I noticed she charged us extra for the food. I asked the auntie it's $9.50 on the menu why you charged us $10.99. First, the auntie said cuz you want it spicy. I told her this noodle comes with spicy- there is a pepper sign right next to this noodle on the menu, plus there was free hot oil on the table! Then, she went to the kitchen to talk to the owner. When she came back, she told me she gave us the old menu, the new price is $10.99. I'm like why you even give people "old menu" if you have new price! She suddenly grabbed my wrist try to stop me from talking, which was really weird! Finally she said she would change the price to $9.50, but next time it would be $10.99. I told her there won't be next time! It's ok to charge higher price, but you don't give people a price, and later on charge them extra on the bill! She was not apologizing for their own mistakes the whole time, and kept trying to find excuses for it. That's what really make me angry! The wait for our food was about an hour for 4 items...on top of that, they were "out" of multiple items. I was able to order a dumpling steamed after I was told the pan fried version was sold out, which leads me to believe that they purchase they frozen and cook them. The other issue I have with this restaurant is that the portion about six dumplings per order, which will run you about $10. I have been meaning to try this for the longest time and finally got a chance to try it over the weekend. Sadly we did not enjoy our bland food and probably won't be returning. Service was actually good and quick, not sure if it was maybe because we were their first customer of the day. Our waitress was very nice though but the food did not rank quite as well. Pig ears - the pig ear was cooked nicely but it was drenched in chili sesame oil. That's all you could taste and was lacking other flavors. A friend ordered the peanut butter pancake (because he's weird like that) and the waitress warned us that it would take fifteen minutes, which we said was fine. I can see how somebody would like this, but I didn't. It was like a nutter butter cookie greased up and pan fried. Very, very sweet. However! The pork and green onion buns (forgive me, I can't recall the Chinese word for them) were outstanding. My friend said his vegetarian dumplings were also very good. This restaurant recently moved from Irving to Plano, and there's definitely been some changes. Despite a new location, the decor is your average run-of-the-mill Chinese restaurant. The wait wasn't too bad at the time I went, but that could be because it was a rainy Wednesday night. We quickly got a table, but it took a long time for a server to come by and take our order. Some of the servers have a system on their iPhone to take your order, but I feel like this takes too much time especially with such a robust menu. We ordered the green tea, millet porridge, marinated beef tendon, fried pork & chinese chives dumplings, hot & spicy beef noodle soup, pork & cabbage buns, and beef pancakes. $4 for tea seemed a bit pricey, until I realized that they give you a whole pot of tea. Free refills too! The millet porridge was a little bland, but your standard porridge. The marinated beef tendons were super good--not too spicy or salty, and just the right amount of chili oil. The fried pork & chinese chives dumplings were a little too oily for my taste, but they were considerably bigger in size than other dumpling places like Jeng Chi. The hot & spicy beef noodle soup was done very well. The soup was just the right amount of spice for me (although this might be too spicy for other people). The pieces of beef were tender. I only wish the noodles were handmade like other places that have beef noodle soup. The beef pancakes were definitely the star of the show for this meal. They were a little bit oily, but the outside was perfectly fried and the meat inside was very juicy. Went here for lunch and really enjoyed it! I had no idea it was even there! When I got there at 11:30 it was pretty empty but it really filled up quickly. The restaurant and service were both nice--so not your "typical" Chinese restaurant, and this is reflected in the prices :P They have standard lunch specials and things you're used to seeing on a menu but they also have a lot of types of dumplings, buns, and pancakes. This is why I wanted to try the place. I would suggest that they offer combo orders, or smaller orders (or smaller buns?) because 1) who wants to pay $10 for an order of buns or $13 for dumplings and 2) while they actually do give you a lot of food so really it's not a bad value, who can eat 8 buns by themselves?? Too hard to try more than one thing. And sadly, dumplings and buns don't always make the best leftovers. So I'd probably wait until I had a bigger group to come back, but it was tasty. I tried the fried pork & chive buns and my friend had the steamed beef & onion buns. Like I said, both were tasty, although it's a lot of bread (wish the meat to bun ratio were higher). We could only eat 3-4 each. Next time I'll try dumplings! Oh and even though it was slow when we got there, it did take awhile to get our order. No worries on our end though--the waitress brought us hot & sour soup because I guess we looked hungry :P read more

I am a fan of sauces and I wish I would have asked for chili sauce for the buns but I made a quick sauce at home and was satisfied. "More meat pies" is what I will yell after having those well marinated goubuli baozi. (Hint:my Sweeney Todd reference). Beef noodles are not the best in town, but those fish dumplings and goubuli baozi are pretty good. A little overpriced for the amount of food but at least the dumplings and baozi's are fresh! I love me some fresh doughy smell from the baozi! The dumpling's skin get dry and toughens up easily though. Not as memorable as those dumplings in Flushing but at least we have a good option here in DFW now (again)! Oh and best thing is they take apple pay haha read more

I was craving Asian buns but we do not have any restaurants near Mansfield so we drove the hour to Plano and it was soooooo worth the drive. We ordered the Signature buns, pork and cabbage dumplings, pork and shrimp dumplings, pork and chive dumplings, boiled dumplings, beef pancakes and lo mein for my daughter. The portions were big and reasonably priced. The lo mein was some of the best we've tried and the noodles were perfectly cooked and well seasoned. Often times places make too mushy. The buns were moist and the pork juicy. The beef pancakes were highly recommended by our server and that is one of the most popular dishes. She kept warning us about the liquid being extremely hot when you bite. She was right as I poked into it and it literally squirt onto my shirt. We had not expected to be great but it was very different than any dumpling we've tried and it was delicious and crispy. We will definitely get again. It was a random stop on a Friday night food seeking adventure. I already had thoughts about how this better not be tasting the same as those frozen dumplings at Hmart! The dumplings are great! They have a genuine authentic chewy texture. You have them steam or pan fried. I think you should go steamed for a slightly healthier version which is good. The pan fried isn't overly greasy or oily which was impressive. I prefer fried and so does my wife. Hot, delicious, chewy, meaty, and juicy is how I describe them. I enjoyed the string beans with pork, and eggplant in garlic sauce as well. Must have some vegetables. The Beef soup with tendon is good. The tendon was my favorite part. It is so tender and flavorful. The noodles are chewy and remind me of good quality ramen noodles. Nothing is overpowering with cumin or overly spiced like you might expect. read more

They are also available for pick up. For starters, My family and I ordered the beef pancake. It was the BEST beef pancake I've ever had. The pancake is filled with beef and scallions. Its really juicy on the inside and crispy on the outside. I recommend 10/10. For entrees we ordered the beef flat noodle, chicken fried rice, and the orange beef. The beef flat noodle and fried rice were both good, however they were lacking some flavor. The flat noodle had more veggies than the actual noodles. The orange beef was delicious. Overall the best thing we ordered was the beef pancake. The service definitely wasn't the best but I appreciate them being open during covid-19. Ordered pickup from Yelp and food was on time and packed very nicely. They included utensils and sauces without being ask. As everyone says the gouboli buns are delish. My picky son even liked them and had 2! The dumplings did not disappoint; I was impressed and they are quite filling. The cashew chicken and chicken lettuce wraps we're not overly greasy and portions were good. Personally I prefer smaller portions with lower prices so I can order more items to try. The steam dumplings are excellent. I used to have to fly to New York for this kind of food. The beef noodle soup is also great. My husband likes the pancakes while our son likes the beef rice noodles stir fry. Top of the fact that the dishes are nicely flavor, they are also not salty at all. This is obviously our favorite restaurant in town. There are two things about the services, they are understaffed. Expect no service then you would be fine with it. Also, if you call for a Togo order, the staff does not seem to know their menu well. It will make your life easier if you know the code to each items, the online version has no code, and the staff does not understand well the name of their dishes in English.
