Very good food. We ordered this to celebrate the Lunar New Years and we definitely made the right decision. We ordered crab rangoon, boneless spare ribs, steamed beef buns, and flat noodles with beef. The flat noodles with beef are similar to drunken noodles without the spice. Will definitely order from them again and have already recommended to my work friends. The only negative thing to say is their delivery fee on 3rd party delivery sites. I know it's not necessarily all on the restaurant but with taxes and fees, there was over $20+ in our cart for delivery, tax, and other fees. read more

The service is really bad, the food is meh. We ordered delivery and they left our food out in the middle of a public place without calling or text or any notification. When I called them about it they got defensive and didn't want to acknowledge the fact that their delivery person did not call or notify us whatsoever and left our food in a public place. Food was excellent. Authentic soup dumplings. Service was great. Nothing fancy but small family run restaurant with authentic Sichuan food and sushi. I didn't have the sushi so I can't comment on that. Will definitely be back for more dumplings and mala items I saw on the menu. read more

This restaurant should be taken off GrubHub app. According to GrubHub agent "I do apologize. Upon checking this is a self-delivery restaurant. Since the restaurant handles their deliveries, we cannot track down or contact the delivery driver." Tonight was at least the fourth time we had issues with GrubHub delivery. There is no tracking and one time they lost my order entirely. Tonight order was half hour late and also special instructions were ignored despite checked off in receipt. It's not worth paying the delivery fees and tip to have to call the restaurant twice to find out where your order is. read more

Sending out menus really worked for the Dumpling Garden as we had no idea they existed and they are tucked away in a quiet plaza. The menu is huge - so much to pick from. We ordered online and it was a bit strange how the menu was set up - you would think appetizers and dumplings (their signature item!) would be up first but instead it was several sections about sushi (which sounds delightful) and midway through you got to apps and the dumplings. Did I say the menu is huge and they have a variety of everything they offer? It made it hard to decide! We went with the hotdog wontons (different but really just like huge pigs in the blanket), pork and cabbage dumplings (absolutely HUGE and the filling was amazing), chicken dumplings (again - huge but I didn't love the chicken inside), Japanese style gyoza (very crispy which I didn't dislike but didn't love), the house fried rice (packed with shrimp and fish - wow!) and since our massive order was over $40 we got a free crab rangoon (so so so good). The food was filling (we ate it over hours and had left-overs next day) and really nice quality. No feeling of being bloated from salt or anything after eating. The service was very nice too - it was taking a bit longer than expected and the woman actually came out to my car to let us know it was ready rather than waiting for me to go back and check. Now that I know they're hidden away there we will 100% be back and next time I have to try some of their amazing sounding sushi creations! read more

Delicious food, great service, reasonable prices. I read the reviews & decided to give this place a try. Located in a small plaza & looks like a strictly take-out place but has a nice seating area and pleasant decor. As soon as we (3 persons)sat down, I noticed the table was well stocked with condiments and was very clean. The table was set with a thick, nice paper table cloth and paper plates & napkins. We were immediately attended to with plastic cups and a carafe of water and menus. Very friendly service. We ordered dumplings, General Gau's chicken, and sautéed green beans. Food was cooked to order, brought out as soon as ready, and was hot and delicious. We plan to return soon because there are many dishes we want to try on the extensive menu. So tried their dumplings, the pictures are really looks good but I was serves with paper plates and plastic utensils and different food from the pictures specially the one on yelp. These pictures below is the pictures that I was served. The one that I think decent is the steamed pot sticker. The soup dumpling is ok too. The yellow bao is a no. You don't know what you're missing. First things first, don't go here if you're just looking for another American style Chinese place. ALSO, completely disregard any reviews that are like 3 stars and say: "oh, I got the fried rice, chicken fingers, and general gao's chicken. It was okay but . . . . blah blah blah." What their reviews should say is: "I ordered off the kid's menu and it wasn't the grease heap of American-Chinese food that I'm used to, wah." That's not what this place is about. Those items are like the "kid's menu" insomuch as they have familiar American-Chinese dishes (for people like my wife) so that other people (like me) can go for the xiaolongbao, pork buns, mala dishes, and even a smattering of Szechuan dishes without having to drive to Chinatown. If you haven't had xiaolongbao before, do yourself a favor. The best way to describe them is like hot soup filled dumpings (steamed, not fried) with an utterly unique combo of texture and flavor. Haven't had Shangai pork buns before? Do yourself another solid and get those -I think they're D4 there on the menu. Never had mala stuff? Please, do that. Another bonus here is that it's got a lot of awesome authentic food you won't get outside of Chinatown, BUT, it is also "streamlined" for neophyte Westerners, so you're not overwhelmed with a menu full of animal parts you're not used to seeing in food. AND it has the kid's menu, as I called it above, so you can bring your more conventional fam and friends and they can eat egg rolls and lo mein. read more

Not a fancy place seating wise, but the food is absolutely outstanding! We got chicken teriyaki for appetizer and it was hot, fresh and crispy, some of the best chicken teriyaki I've ever had. This place was great! I'm surprised I didn't see more people here with how good the food is. The place looks a little dinky from the outside but don't judge a book by it's cover. I had the General Tso's chicken which was great. My mom ordered soup dumplings I had a bite of and they were also delicious. It was really quiet because we were the only dine in patrons though I assume most of their business is takeout. The food was meh. Not the worst I've ever had, but certainly not the best. The woman who took my order was very professional and my order was prepared exactly as I ordered it. I give props when restaurants can properly make something differently than it is listed on the menu. While this seems simple, it is often not followed through on. The flavors of the sauces were slightly off and the quality of the meat was slightly tough. We did takeout, but I did notice that everyone dining in the restaurant was eating on paper plates with plastic cutlery. The food was hot when I got it home and packed nicely. I did find it odd that duck sauce, soy sauce and fortune cookies were not included. Perhaps this is something that is common but as this was my first time here, I wish I had been made aware.
