Very friendly service. Waffle cones were very fresh. Ice cream was ok. Pistachio was good. Butter Pecan was not at all.

Ice cream can get incredibly rich for me very fast, but that wasn't my experience with their rainbow cookie ice cream! Very smooth, almost reminiscent to birthday cake, with just the right touch of sweetness. There are plenty of seating indoors, and lots of spots to park your car outside! The staff are friendly and they keep the place extremely spotless, cleaning surfaces and even wiping down the glass doors and windows through the night. They also have a water dispenser in the event that you need a sip of water and it's great for people like myself who need water after a sweet! The place is very quiet around the evening (we were there around 8:40pm) and there's hardly a line, if at all. But the place stays open til 10pm throughout the week. The place deserves more traction. I will definitely be coming back here with my husband who is an ice cream fiend!

First off, the staff were super friendly and welcoming right when we walked in. They were more than happy to let us sample a few flavors, which I always appreciate, especially when there are so many options and everything sounds good. The flavor selection is seriously impressive, and it makes choosing just one feel impossible. They don't just do basic scoops either. You can get milkshakes, malts, ready-to-go pints, ice cream sandwiches, ice cream pies, or keep it classic with a cup or cone. Basically, whatever ice-cream mood you're in, they've got something for you. I ended up going with the cookie dough ice cream sandwich, and it absolutely hit the spot. The ice cream was super creamy and packed with cookie dough, and the cookies themselves were soft, chewy, and the perfect match for the filling. It was rich without being too much, which is saying something for an ice cream sandwich. The whole place just had a really easy, fun vibe. Nothing pretentious, just good ice cream, lots of choices, and nice people! If you're in the area and craving something sweet, give them a try. Whether it's the middle of summer or literally below freezing outside, it's worth stopping in.

When @yelpcoastalva let the #YelpElite squad know we would have an opportunity to visit their new storefront @seldenmarket I was so excited. They provide great customer service, the shakes are so good and big enough for two people to share one. I'm so proud of how far this local business has come. All of their hard work has paid off! I encourage everyone to check them out. The cotton candy milkshake is perfect for the little ones and I recommend the butter pecan milkshake for old school adults (seniors) with a sweet tooth!

I had never been here so i was looking to see what they had. They have ice cream, milk shakes, cookies, and cupcakes. This is one of those fun places with the deliciously cool looking milk shakes stacked with cookies, brownies, and more!! I got a confetti cookie for $2.50 just to try something. I wanted a milkshake but i was full after trying other goodies in the market. But I'll be back to try it for sure. The cookie was good and soft. It tasted fresh. I am sure I'll find something else that taste good when i come back. Stop by and give them a try..

I was impressed by the number of different flavors that they had available and they all sound delicious!! I ended up getting a Salted Caramel Butter pecan scoop in a waffle cone and my girlfriend got the banana pudding in a cup. Both were smooth and creamy and not overly sweet. I can't wait to go back and try some of their other flavors. Our total was about 12 dollars. The place was nice and clean with several places to sit and the young ladies that were working were kind and polite! Make sure you try it out and let me know your fave flavor!!

But I love Sundae Scoop…read more Leaving a doctor appointment in Chesapeake early this week I was excited that I would pass Sundae Scoop on the way home. I pulled into the shopping center & found a locked door at the shop. Peeping into the window I saw that it was definitely closed. Disappointed I turned to leave. A man wheeling in what must have been today's prepared ice creams asked me if I wanted ice cream. When I answered in the affirmative he unlocked the door & turned on the lights. I learned that during the winter they don't open till 3. Asking if he was the owner, he confirmed that he & his wife were. Going to the back while I got my two pints of Ube Ice Cream from the cooler, he returned with three complementary containers of flavors that I hadn't tried. Sharing with him the fact that I wasn't an Ice Cream person but loved his, he asked if it was the Ube. I told him that flavor was my favorite but it was because his tasted different & so much better than other Ice Cream. Mentioning that other Ice Cream was just too sweet. He confirmed that was the biggest mistake people made preparing Ice Cream. He certainly knows the best way to prepare the deliciousness. Somehow we also even got on the topic of NFL Football. Don't I always? It's wonderful to learn that one of my favorite spots is owned by such a friendly & nice person. He didn't have to unlock the door so I could buy Ice Cream. But he did. So I left the store with a bag full of my favorite treat. If you haven't yet tried Sundae Scoop you've missed the best Ice Cream in Coastal Virginia. Even if it's not in your part of the Metro, make a trip there. You won't regret it.
