I've been patronizing this Brusters for years. The quality of ice cream has significantly gone down hill. Most recently the ice cream has been watery with no taste. I hope they improve soon. The ice cream used to be delectable.

Nice little spot on Kempsville Road. Stopped to grab a quick treat with my wife. The inside was clean and the lady who took a order was very friendly. The ice cream was pretty good too, but not something I would call home about.

For a small ice creamery, their ice cream is honestly some of the best in the area. They have a large selection of flavors, each rich and savory as well as such kind and amazing staff. Prices are also fair for what you get as well. Highly recommend!

Great little ice cream stand/shop! On our visit tonight, there was only 1 employee working (Saturday evening), but he was super pleasant and worked quickly to get our three orders. I had a small waffle cone with chocolate cake batter, oldest had a white raspberry truffle milkshake, and youngest had a sugar cone with cotton candy. Flavors were good, milkshake wasn't too thick per oldest. Download their rewards app - this weekend happened to be my birthday weekend and we got $3 off our order! Bonus: they are open year round, even in the dead of winter when you have a craving for a banana split!

We came here on a Sunday afternoon after spending the day at the park. The ice cream was good, the service was pretty fast and there was a couple of people waiting. They do free kid cones if your kid is under 40 inches I believe. The only thing I didn't like was it's by a really busy street and they don't have it fenced in or anything. So not really a good idea to take your kids off if they like to go running off. They do have tables on the side but still not fenced in. We just ate our ice cream in the car.

Great ice cream. I ordered the chocolate ice cream with brownie chunks and my husband ordered the strawberry ice cream. A small is plenty you can share with another person. They are bit pricey which is why I gave 4 stars instead of 5 stars. It cost $5.99 for a small ice cream cup. The strawberry ice cream has small pieces of strawberries and my husband said it was yummy

We forgot to get a picture before we ate, oops.

Y'all don't understand the quest to find Cotton Candy Explosion, or maybe you do. It seems like this Bruster's is the only one that ALWAYS has cotton candy explosion. Hallelujah. The service was really slow today, but it's a special day for us, so we wait. We haven't been in ages and the punch card we had is no longer used. They did give us .50 off per punch we had which was nice. They have a new app where you can earn rewards that way. My daughter and I both got cotton candy explosion, I got a two scoop small waffle and she got a free a baby cone. My husband got a small waffle with Oreo and butter pecan. My daughter and I were happy campers, but my husband wasn't thrilled with his. The butter pecan was a huge let down. The waffle cone was pretty good, I'd recommend it.

Great selection of ice cream, not just traditional flavors. We got peanut better cream, tiramisu and cookie dough.. the peanut butter cream was particularly good. Bench seating to the side and plenty of parking. The road is busy but the seating sits back off the road so it's not too loud.

Probably a half dozen visits, or more over 5-6 years. Although good, nothing special. The rating compiles several times I stopped in. If my kids see the sign they are asking. Located close to corner of Witchduck.if driving WB no issue, EB you will need to make a U-Turn to access. This is a walk up only. I have only seen walk ups with this chain. There are a few tables and benches for outdoor enjoyment. Parking will not be an issue with several just off the order up window. Trash has always been an issue, it around and not picked up. It not always there's, but I've seen their logo. That is a 1 star deduction. Service has been for most part friendly, to just checking the box. Again, this is an overall with several visits. Last one was above average. You come here for the ice-cream and they deliver on that nicely. Expect to pay for some nice quality shakes and sundaes. Pricing is not an issue with me, but others be warned if your cost conscious. It will be more than say a DQ. I cannot get overly excited about this Brusters, but it is on par. My kids really enjoy and they are usually the reason we come here any way.

When warm weather comes rolling in, then what better way than to eat some ice cream? I like going to Bruster's because it is outdoor. It's located off of Indian River road and it gets kinda busy during the warm days. So when it's warm they may not have seating. However, when I went this time.. There was surprisingly no one there. Babies it kids under 40 inches get free ice cream. My son got his cup of free vanilla ice cream with his little spoon . I love ice cream. Even if it isn't the best. I ordered the two scoop death by chocolate, and chocolate chip mint ice cream. It was good, buy not the BEST. I've had very good ice cream at a place like this. I like my ice cream very think, and super creamy. The area seemed very clean, the tables seemed like they could get power washed. This place is decent not terrible. I will come back.

Me and the kids first time here. Ice cream was great. They asked me why I didn't bring them sooner before.

It was refreshing and pretty tasty! They also offer vegan options, including vegan ice cream, which is a great choice for anyone looking for a dairy-free treat. One thing to be aware of, though, is the pricing on the add-ons. It appears the prices may have increased, but the price board has not been updated. The board lists add-ons at 50¢, but we were charged 75¢ for each add-on. Because of this, the final total was higher than we expected. Hopefully they will update the price board to reflect the current pricing so customers know what to expect when ordering. Overall, we would recommend this place for a cool and refreshing dessert, especially for those looking for vegan or dairy-free options. Just be sure to double-check the add-on prices!

It could be because I'm a military spouse, but I know my time in the 757 will end soon. After attending Tidewatercomiccon, I realized we were a short walk from Get Lost. It has been on my list to try since December 2024! I ordered a modified (I'm lactose intolerant ) @stormyblue Raz-Berry. The Raz-Berry is part of a fundraiser for @socialbutterfliesfoundation. May is Lupus Awareness Month. Lupus is a chronic autoimmune disease in which the immune system attacks healthy tissue, affecting the skin, joints, and organs. It impacts an estimated 1.5 million Americans, and millions more worldwide. The Social Butterflies Foundation is the only nonprofit in Hampton Roads dedicated specifically to supporting those with Lupus and Fibromyalgia.
