No acknowledgement was made that the workers were not using their time well to prepare orders. About 5 more mins and the worker we spoke with poked her head inside the shop and said something to the other 2 that resulted in our snowballs being finished and handed off a few mins later. I understand summer employment jobs and having fun while at work in an environment like a snowball stand, however, in total we probably waited around 30+ minutes for 4 snowballs while we watched the workers eating a snowball, chatting with each other, and moving at a snails pace. Snowball is ice and flavor. Training is needed to make sure the workers understand how to maximize their efficiency so they can get customers out of their face and they would actually have more time to do the things that young summer workers like to do when working with their peers.
