May is Lupus Awareness Month. Lupus is a chronic autoimmune disease in which the immune system attacks healthy tissue, affecting the skin, joints, and organs. It impacts an estimated 1.5 million Americans, and millions more worldwide. The Social Butterflies Foundation is the only nonprofit in Hampton Roads dedicated specifically to supporting those with Lupus and Fibromyalgia. Beforehand, I took a look at all the flavors available and chose white chocolate. I also chose marshmallow fluff for the topping. Overall, the snoball was good. The white chocolate flavor was present throughout and having the marshmallow fluff as a topping and in the middle helped with each serving. The snoball did melt due to the weather outside, but it was totally fine. Once again, the SnoBall Shop came through for yours truly. I'll definitely stop by the next time I'm in the area.
