I order delivery from here semi regularly through Delivered Dish. The reason would be the prices. I find that they are significantly less expensive than many other spots and provide a good quality for what you pay. It isn't the sushi I choose for a date night or a big celebration, it is the sushi I order for lunch. They have been very accurate with the orders. Out of more than 10 orders only once was an item missing and between them and Delivered Dish not only did I get the item refunded but the delivery fee as well. In a town with such a high rate of mistakes on food orders, in my experience, this is refreshing. I have never experienced anything bad regarding the sushi itself as some other reviews here state. I have also ordered the bubble tea on more than one occasion and found it to not only be delicious but it never separated or did anything weird even after sitting out a long time. This is a cheap campus sushi place. I used to really like coming here as a lunch spot, but the quality control declined in the last year or so. The sushi is ok and well priced-- sushi rice is tasty and not dry. I can't try most of the Korean dishes because few of them are vegetarian, or have veggie options (the bibimbap with veggies is ok, but it's a lot of rice for the amount of veggies and very little seasoning, so just bland). Recently, they just don't seem to be attentive to details-- we got takeout and they forgot the dashi for the agedashi tofu, so it was just bland fried tofu. They gave me bibimbap without gochujang or sauce of any kind. The last few times we've ordered agedashi tofu in the restaurant, there's almost no dashi, so it's still just dry. The oshinko sushi has a weird chemical taste, and there is an overpowering chemical smell in the dining room. The bubble tea has that fake powder flavor and too sweet. All this to say, I used to really enjoy coming to this place as it's cheap and convenient, but my interest has waned because they don't seem invested in food quality. read more

The one that did included so little salmon that it was hard to taste it within the excess of very gluey rice. The spicy scallop roll I ordered was exceptionally mayo-y. I've been here twice so far. The food is good, they have a nice selection of menu items, the prices seem reasonable based on what is displayed on the menu. However, the first time I came in, my order was 15 minutes late (so it took them a total of 45 mins to make) which is fine because they were busy, but I would've expected them to be a little more organized and upfront with me about wait time. Since my first visit happened on a particularly busy night I decided to give them another visit on a day that wasn't so busy. I'm assuming the lady who was ringing me up was the manager. She required me to leave a tip for takeout before I even got my order. She was watching what I was doing on the screen after I scanned my credit card and whenever I selected "no tip" she would pull the tip screen back up and I couldn't finish the transaction until I actually left a tip. She did something similar again when there was an option for me to receive a receipt. Before I could make my own choice, she pressed the no receipt button (she did it super fast, too). Call me old fashioned, but tips are earned from good service. I can't tell you how many times I've tipped before receiving the good or service I paid for only to be disappointed because something was missing or incorrect. That's not fair to me. Also, I ordered a roll combo that was $10.50 according to the menu, a bowl of miso soup that was 1$ according to the sign at the counter, and an extra roll that was 7.50 according to the menu. But I was charged 20.50 before the tip was "required". My total should have only been $19, maybe $19.50 if the extra spicy mayo I asked for was an additional 50 cents. The problem is not the dollar amount, but the principle. I was overcharged and I was required to tip on top of that. That alone is poor service and isn't tip-worthy. Then when I got home I realized one of the items I ordered didn't match the description on the menu. I ordered the roll combo that included the spicy salmon roll, according to the menu it was supposed to have deep fried unagi on top, but what I received did not. Only giving two stars because the food is pretty decent, but pretty much everything else is really, unbelievably subpar. The staff are rude not only to customers but also to each other, with the cashier talking poorly about the chef to all of the customers waiting on their food. The ramen tastes like it's just water with sriracha sauce, but the sushi is actually pretty decent thankfully! We ordered two rolls and some ramen and it took 40 minutes to be prepared... we were the second order of the day. I ordered some chicken karage, a veggie roll, spicy tuna roll and one other sushi roll. It wasn't gourmet sushi but everything tasted fresh, was portioned well for the price and satisfied my sushi craving. I wash the karage was crispier and cane with some sort of sauce. Duck Sushi quietly moved into the Peach Wave space by the UO bookstore, adding sushi to the array of foods available on the edge of campus. There seem to be no reviews yet anywhere online, no announcements, and thus far no Facebook page, though they do have a website at ducksushi.com and offer delivery through Pony Express where we first noticed their existence. We didn't feel like going out, so we ordered in food from Duck Sushi, which is currently the only sushi bar in town that delivers. We picked a selection of sushi rolls (Shrimp Tempura Roll, Spicy Tuna Tempura Roll, Rock & Roll, and Victory Roll. We also got a side of Topokki, an order of Korean BBQ Bulgogi, and two bubble teas. Bubble Teas: They arrived looking curdled/separated. Shaking them helped for a moment, but they would soon separate again. We drank a little of them but they seemed too sweet and sour, like too much powder had been added. And we wondered if some of the ingredients had gone bad? We've never seen bubble tea separate like that. Essentially undrinkable, and a little scary. 1/5 Topokki: Not bad, fish cakes were strange tasting and the texture was stiff/tough, rice cakes were good. The spice overwhelmed the gochujang too much for me, but I thought the rice cakes at least were edible. My husband, who will normally eat absolutely anything Korean or in gochujang said: "Wow, that tastes like despair. Dump it." 2/5 Korean BBQ Bulgogi: I didn't have any. My husband said: "Bland, all the flavoring and sauce were on the rice not the meat, not seasoned properly. Wouldn't ever get it from them again." 1/5 Sushi: No point in me describing them individually, because they had a uniformly mushy character. They were drenched in very thin (watered down?) unagi sauce, soggy, no discernible variation in flavor or texture. Ordering delivery may be a -little- bit to blame, but we've ordered delivery sushi from many restaurants in other towns we've lived in and traveled through, and none were anywhere near this bad. I'm far from a sushi snob, I'll eat just about any sushi, but I ate one or two pieces of each Duck Sushi roll and then threw out the rest. 1/5 Service: They got our order wrong and subbed the Spicy Tuna Tempura for a regular Spicy Tuna Tuna, which happens to cost half as much. We didn't bother complaining because we'd rather forget about the whole experience. The only good thing about the service is that they deliver, but you'll find yourself wishing the order had gotten lost. Conclusion: Never again. Our trash can now holds $65 worth of food, and we're in the kitchen cooking an edible dinner at 11pm. read more

This was the absolute worst food we've ever ordered from grub hub. Watermelon bubble tea was separated/cuddles and tasted sour and fermented. Vegetable beef soup (forgot actual name) taste like greasy fish broth with shredded beef that taste like it was in the crock pot for a week, dried out and became tougher than jerky with soggy over cooked bean sprouts as the vegetables. Potstickers were alright. Teriyaki chicken was also very tough with sugary frozen food tasting teriyaki sauce. We spent $45 (with $4 delivery fee and 20% tip that we prepaid) on those 4 things and threw everything away except the potstickers. Also on grub hub this place has 4.5 star rating!! Very deceiving! Seeimg a picture of curdled bubble tea in thebpics really threw me off but I wanted to try the place myself. Eugene roll for 7 dollars was tasty, deep fried goodness. Spider roll for 8 dollars was subpar to many others I have tried. Philly roll for 4.50 was a great value, I didn't expect it to be raw though, my wife isn't a fan of raw fish so that was unexpected but really good value on this one. I ordered food online very strictly stating in all caps that I am deathly allergic to shrimp and to please clean before making my order of chicken fried rice. What do you think happened to me when I took a bite? My throat is closed up after just one bite. Not too bad, but not great either. We tried their salmon poke bowl, but it was super salty. I could mainly taste the soy sauce and red pepper flakes, but I am not sure if there was any other sauce else added to it. Often times, I would see places that offer customers to create their own bowls or at least choose different sauces, but it wasn't like that here. It was disappointing. We also ordered a spider roll and it had more rice than anything else. The soft shelled crab pieces were very little and it tasted as if we were just eating a cream cheese roll.
