For $35 per person elsewhere I could get all the meat options plus all you can eat apps. Personally that's a better deal for me especially when serving a larger party. On top of that everything is plain. Kimchi? Tastes like raw cabbage with chili flakes. The meats? It's like that old white woman/picky ass toddler is in the kitchen making sure everything is as mediocre as possible. Don't waste your time, at least with the all you can eat which apparently won't be much because it's not appetizing. I went here for lunch with my partner today and it was a great experience. The hostess was very friendly and seated us for the all you can eat BBQ quickly. She took our orders shortly after we were seated and we were on our way. We had the beef bulgogi, teriyaki beef, spicy chicken, honey chicken, and teriyaki chicken. It was all fantastic! They were switching out the hot plates every time they got too dirty and did a good job of clearing the empty plates. The restaurant was very clean and wasn't too loud. The bathrooms were clean. Parking isn't too bad even during peak times because the restaurant is tucked into a shopping center so there were plenty of spots to choose from. I definitely think we will be back here. read more

Great Korean bbq. The exhaust fans are the best I've ever experienced. My clothes didn't smell after dinner, like most other bbq spots. The service was good, the meat choices were tasty and the side dishes were delicious. I knocked a star off for 2 reasons, nothing major but annoying. 1 - maybe this just isn't something they do, but at all other Korean restaurants we've dined at, they've offered to swap out the hot plate when it gets crusted. We weren't offered that option. 2 - we mentioned 3 times that we were done with our meal and then never saw our waiter again. We had to ask another employee for our check. A little frustrating as we had been done with our meal for a while. Would those two issues stop me from going back? Absolutely not. We'll be back often. read more

So they give you 2 hours, with a last call at the 1.5 hr mark. You can order 3 meats at a time, from their extensive menu of 3 different pricing plans. Got there before 6pm on a Saturday evening and the wait list grew rapidly, but we were sat within 15 mins. Lotsa young kids tending to the tables, giving friendly and helpful service. This team was always moving and I quickly realized we would need to snag them on their way coming and going. I loved that they changed our grill plate as it got gooey... they probably saw me trying to scrape it clean, haha! Though they were pretty busy we didn't feel forgotten or like we were bothering them if we needed to flag them down for something. All in all a fun 1st time for most in our group. Have come a couple times one experience my young child was having a meltdown and they refused to give it to go box when no food has been even eaten yet and we're trying to charge me for it. Now this time they refused to allow me to get an all you can eat which is $29 and told me they would only sell me the one meat selection "entrée size" which is minuscule in comparison to what you're able to get for all you can eat for over 30 bucks. Just happened to stumble unto this spot while searching on Yelp in Eugene. My wife and I love KBBQ, and even more so if its AYCE! There was a slight wait when we first got there, which is usually a good sign, and despite being an AYCE we didn't have to wait for too long. They have 3 types of packages depending on the food you want, with seafood being on the premium tiers. For the 2 of us we were very content with the selection for the standard package and for the cost, you REALLY can't beat it. Having had most of our KBBQ in Portland and Seattle, the average cost for AYCE typically ranges from 35-50+, so this was a huge surprise for us. Meat selection is great. Quality seems up to par with most other KBBQ. We truly enjoyed the variations of Samgyeopsal. Side selection was a little lacking, but maybe that's because I prefer other sides like glass noodles and tofu. read more

Wow. I had never had Korean BBQ before, so I was a little nervous about the whole process. However, I had had such a blast! The employees were very helpful with any questions and were attentive. We got the step up from the standard package, and I think I would do that again. Every meat we got was so good, particularly the soy garlic pork belly, the LA galbi , and the Hawaiian beef! I'm still thinking about them days later. We also tried the steamed egg and cheese corn, which were also fabulous. Something you must order is the soju cocktail! I wish more restaurants offered soju cocktails and this one was so good. I also liked how the restaurant itself was very nice. So disappointed. I was looking forward to going all week, and finally had time on Sunday. Looked through the website and all the info I could find online to make sure I could go alone. When I get there, I tell them just one, they seat me with a menue and say nothing. Then the server comes up and asks if I'm ready to order, then proceeds to tell me you can't order all you can eat if you're solo, only the ala cart section. I'm a little annoyed by this, but I know it's not his fault. I wait 15 minutes, excited to cook my food, even though it's not exactly what I wanted to order. He comes back, hands me a to go container, and asks how I would like to pay. ... what? I pay without a fuss, and leave, but now I'm just so upset. Not even upset- just sad. I was so excited, I thought I could finally have some space to myself and have a nice meal, but no. The worst part? It was so expensive. $45 or so if I remember correctly. I LOVE this place. It reminds me of living in NYC and going for late night dinners in K-town. The food is hot, the beer is cold and the place is open late. We always get the seafood pancake to start followed by marinated ribs and bulgogi beef. This is the perfect amount for 4 people. We've never done the all you can eat. At first, we didn't know you had to sign in for wait list as many would ask you if you were waiting or who was first. Another party walked in as we were sitting and waiting for someone to come to the front. They hostess knew them and immediately got them set. I then asked how does this work and got my name on. Sadly I've experienced Korean BBQ in there homeland. It's much better over there. However it's still a fun experience here just no lettuce wraps. And well my main gripe is the rule changes and price. You cant enjoy it alone anymore it stabs your wallet at a minimum$30-60 for a decent meal had I been allowed to just enjoy the buffet and eat my fill I could see the price hike but this is unattractive in every way now. I've been interested in trying out the Korean BBQ thing for a while and we finally had the opportunity to try it out. We went with this location over other local options due to the number of meat options on the basic menu. There are rules that come with all you can eat like a time limit and a 10 dollar fee for wasting food if there are leftovers so show up hungry lol. You can order half portions so that you can try more different kinds of meat which I wish we had done more of. There are quite a few little sides and a small dish of rice but of course the star of the show is the insane amount of meat that you get to cook yourself. My hubby didn't love the whole raw meat on the same table as the cooked meat thing and yeah you definitely have to remember which utensils you used for what. Every meat option that we tried was yummy but I think I'll come back for one kind next time, probably the Hawaiian beef or the beef bulgoogi. The servers were attentive and brought us a new grill when ours was getting pretty messy and refills of meat and veggies when ever requested. Due to the lovely side effects of eating that much meat in one sitting I don't think I'd go with AYCE again but it was fun to try once! read more

I had an amazing dinner tonight at Kkoki Bbq. It was my first time trying Korean bbq and I was far from disappointed. You can order off the menu or do all you can eat where you cook on the grill yourself. You have two hours for the all you can eat which is pretty generous. It is a 10$ charge for leftovers but they offer half portions which can help avoid that. We did the standard all you can eat. Price was reasonable for how much you get. It comes with rice, various side dishes, veggies, and rice cakes. My favorite meats we got were the Hawaiian beef and the bulgogi beef, I would definitely recommend ordering these. So delicious and flavorful. Although, I didn't love the pork or brisket ones as much as the beef and chicken. The ambiance of the restaurant is superb and servers were above and beyond friendly/accommodating. Always coming around asking us if we needed anything and refilling our waters. This is such a fun experience I would strongly recommend coming here if you've never been! read more

Short: Good selection. Flavorful and authentic. A hidden gem. Service needs some work. Visited week of Dec.8th, 2022 I arrived with my friend around 5pm and we were instantly seated. They asked if we needed menus and then handed us some. It is mainly an All you can eat buffet. However, they do have menu course items and appetizers. Service: It could have been better. Basically, the first server did a decent job. He was confused that we did not want the buffet. However, he then handed us the menus. The two servers did not check on us, and after 10-15 mins. I had to call one over to start my order. The second server took our order. He looked disheveled and was now suddenly in a rush. He quickly made a suggestion, which I later regretted. When paying, it wasn't clear if we handed it back to the server or to approach the counter. Food: I ordered the cheese corn [appetizer] and Dolsot Bibimbap [hot stone bowl w/ bibimbap - recommended]. My friend ordered the spicy chicken buldak [roughly inspired by the hot noodles]. They did present us with the side dishes with our appetizers. Fish cake, Pickled radish, kimchi, bean sprouts, and broccoli. [Cheese Corn] This trendy Korean appetizer really hit the mark! Plenty of hot corn and melted cheese on top. It definitely gave that stringy cheese effect and it was quite addicting in taste. [Dolsot Bibimbap] Originally, I just wanted the regular cold Bibimbap. However, considering the weather the server suggested the Dolsot - hot stone version. Unfortunately, the hot stone was **extremely** hot. Which was warned, but not at all expecting it to be extreme. The stone bowl basically burnt my rice to crispy. Some like crispy rice as a snack, but to have all of my rice with my meal crispy, was unpleasant and almost inedible. I only let my dish sit for a few minutes. Unfortunately, this greatly affected my dish experience, and I doubt I will try the Dolsot here again. Even after at least a half hour, the hot stone was so extremely hot. (I understand hot stones are meant to be hot, but not where it is dangerous and makes the food practically inedible due to temperature and crisp/burnt) . [Spicy Chicken Buldak] This was a solid entree choice. It was stir-fried chicken in plenty of chili oil and other spicy sauce covered in melted cheese. It could have been spicier in my opinion, but it reminded me of the hot instant noodle bowls. I definitely would recommend it, and there was plenty of chicken to share! It was also served on a hot skillet. Price: Cheese Corn was about $8. Dolsot Bibimbap was about $18, +$3 more than the regular cold version. Spicy Chicken Buldak was $25 for a large plate and came with a rice bowl served separately. Extra: They do have Soju and Soju Cocktails! The cocktails are about $19, but it is 35 oz. The buffet prices are around $30. You can be there for about 2 hours, according to the signs. Plus, they have tv screens playing a variety of Korean Music Videos. (yes, K-pop included). Overall, I wish I could have enjoyed my main course more. I definitely will be visiting again because I would love to try the K-BBQ buffet. read more

I'm from the Bay Area and consider my myself very lucky to be surrounded by so much good food. I was prepared for this restaurant to just be ok but it far exceeded my expectations! They were friendly, made great recommendations, attentive (but not stalker vibes) and very quick to fulfill orders. The food was great! Loved the banchan. Bummed they don't carry rice sheets but all good. We did all you can eat B and ordered the brisket, beef jerky, kalbi and pork jowl. We have tried this place twice for AYCE dinner. Each time, pretty good experience! Excellent meats (we love the beef brisket and bulgogi) and the banchan is tasty. They are quick to service you at the beginning, but near the end of your visit, they are slow to check in with you (maybe to deter you from order more meat?). They will readily give you more banchan, salad, rice, and lettuce wraps if you ask. Their banchan is different every day, and I love the variety. The interior of the restaurant is nice and clean, they often play k-pop music. We sat at the biggest table (for a bday dinner) and it fit 8 people comfortably. They said they can fit 12 people in one space, but it is kind of tight. I'd love to try some of their items off of the AYCE menu, like the bibimbap or japchae. We went as a party of 5. First time trying this type of restaurant and it was listed as all you can eat so we went hungry. They sat us at a table with one burner the size of a large dinner plate. We cooked meats and veg for 2 hours straight and none of us were even close to full. They limit customers to 3 meats per round for the entire table. If you order chicken you get ONE chicken thigh which is very thin and covers the whole burner and takes about 8-10 minutes to cook. Split one thigh between 5 people and that's ~1 bite per person. This was a very frustrating way to eat. The food tasted good once it was cooke it was just hard to enjoy a dinner at a rate of 1 bite each every 8-10mins. Had we been a party of two it might have been a better experience. Or had they sat us at a table with 2 cooktops then it might have been better. The staff wasn't rude but they also were not helpful AT ALL. In fact the burner was set so low it would have taken 20 minutes to cook the meat had we not figured out how to turn it up. There was no rice or anything else offered beyond the tiny bowls of kimchi and stuff that was on the table (not even enough in them for 5 people to have a bite of each) when we sat down and never got refilled. I have never had such a frustrating dining experience. And we paid $170 for this experience. It would have been 0 stars except that the meat itself was tasty once it was cooked. read more

PSA. To everyone within a 30 mile radius to Kkoki KBBQ; y'all have NO idea how BLESSED you are to live near this restaurant. You guys can forego the round-trip airfare to LAX ($175) and eat just like the Koreans do in KTOWN LA for the price of $30 per person. Utterly shocked that this restaurant even exists in Central Oregon. Two Thumbs up for the unexpected surprise The true test to any KBBQ house is their chadol (brisket). If their chadol sucks, then everything else they serve sucks imo. If you understand how to pick your brisket, then all of the other meats will be on point. This place has some good chadol brisket so that quickly got my attention and won my favor. Service is also very accommodating and the waiters and waitresses know how to serve customers KBBQ style.
